【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、自動車ボディー等の大型の被搬送物を吊り下げて搬送する吊下搬送装置等に使用される被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガーに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
この種の一般的な被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガーは、被搬送物の左右両側辺の前後二箇所を各別に支持する四つの支持部を、被搬送物を跨ぐ門形のハンガーの側枠下端に設けたものであるが、他の手段、例えばテーブルリフターやランニングフォーク、ドロップリフター等との間での被搬送物の上下方向の積み降ろしを可能にするために、ハンガー側枠を横側方に開動させたり、各支持部を垂直支軸の周りに水平に回動させて、各支持部を被搬送物の上下移動を許す横側方退避位置へ逃がすことが出来るように構成されていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、ハンガーとの間で被搬送物を受け渡しするドロップリフター等、他の手段の被搬送物の支持用治具の配置や当該治具の支持構造等により、前記のようにハンガー側枠を横側方に開動させたり、ハンガー側の各支持部を垂直支軸の周りに水平に回動させることが出来ない場合があった。換言すれば、ハンガーとの間で被搬送物を受け渡しする他の手段の側に、前記のようにハンガー側枠の横側方への開動やハンガー側の各支持部の水平回動を妨害しない構成でなければならないという制約が与えられることになり、被搬送物を最も安定良く安全に支持するという観点からの設計上の自由度が制限される結果となっていた。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記のような従来の問題点を解消し得る被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガーを提供することを目的とするものであって、請求項1に記載の本発明では、その手段を後述する実施形態の参照符号を付して示すと、被搬送物Wの左右両側辺を支持する複数の支持部(支持用治具8,10)を備えた吊下搬送用ハンガーであって、前記複数の支持部(支持用治具8,10)の内、少なくとも一つの支持部(支持用治具10)は、被搬送物Wの搬送方向に対する横側方に位置するハンガー側枠5a,5bから被搬送物側へ延出する略水平の支持姿勢Hにある被搬送物支持台9a,9bの外端上側に設けられると共に、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、前記ハンガー側枠5a,5bに設けられた支持部材11に内端寄り底部が支持されると共に、内端が昇降駆動手段12に連結されて略垂直に昇降可能に支持され、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端を前記昇降駆動手段12で略垂直に引き上げることにより、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bが前記支持部材11に外端底部が支持された倒立格納姿勢Vに切り換わるように構成された被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガーにおいて、前記ハンガー側枠5a,5bには、支持姿勢Hにある被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端が上動するのを阻止する作用位置と当該内端の上動を許す退避位置とに切り替え自在な係止手段19が設けられた構成となっている。

又、請求項3に記載の本発明では、被搬送物Wの左右両側辺を支持する複数の支持部(支持用治具8,10)を備えた吊下搬送用ハンガーであって、前記複数の支持部(支持用治具8,10)の内、少なくとも一つの支持部(支持用治具10)は、被搬送物Wの搬送方向に対する横側方に位置するハンガー側枠5a,5bから被搬送物側へ延出する略水平の支持姿勢Hにある被搬送物支持台9a,9bの外端上側に設けられると共に、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、前記ハンガー側枠5a,5bに設けられた支持部材11に内端寄り底部が支持されると共に、内端が昇降駆動手段12に連結されて略垂直に昇降可能に支持され、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端を前記昇降駆動手段12で略垂直に引き上げることにより、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bが前記支持部材11に外端底部が支持された倒立格納姿勢Vに切り換わるように構成された被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガーにおいて、前記支持部材11に支持される被搬送物支持台9a,9bの底部が、突出円弧形に形成される。上記請求項1〜3に記載の本発明を実施する場合、具体的には、前記被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、両側板13a,13bとこの両側板13a,13bを互いに連結一体化する連結部材14a〜14cから構成し、前記支持部材11は、被搬送物支持台9a,9bの前記両側板13a,13bを各別に支持する鍔付きローラー15a,15bから構成することが出来る。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の好適実施形態を添付図に基づいて説明すると、図1〜図3に於いて、1は本発明の被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2を備えた吊下搬送用走行体であって、架設された2列のガイドレール3に自走可能に吊り下げられて、P1地点とP2地点との間の直線走行経路を正逆往復走行するものであり、その自走手段としては、モーター駆動の自走用車輪方式や、走行経路に沿って敷設されたラックギヤ等に咬合するモーター駆動の自走用歯車方式、走行経路に沿って掛張された駆動チエンや駆動ワイヤーに吊下搬送用走行体1が連結される方式等、状況に応じて従来周知の任意の自走手段が利用されるので、ここでは具体構造の図示および説明は省略する。

前記吊下搬送用走行体1の下側には、自動車ボディー等の被搬送物Wを挟むように位置する左右一対前後二組のハンガー側枠4a,4b、5a,5bから成る門形の被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2が取り付けられている。前側左右一対のハンガー側枠4a,4bの下端には、図1に示すように、内側へ直角に延出する支持姿勢と前方へ90度旋回した退避姿勢との間で垂直支軸の周りで水平に回転可能な被搬送物支持台7a,7bが取り付けられ、各被搬送物支持台7a,7bの先端上側に支持用治具(支持部)8が付設されている。この前側左右一対の被搬送物支持台7a,7bの姿勢切換手段(水平旋回駆動手段)は、シリンダーユニット6(図2参照)利用の流体圧駆動方式のものや、歯車やチエン等を介しての、又は直結式のモーター駆動方式等が利用される。

後ろ側左右一対のハンガー側枠5a,5bの下端に取り付けられた被搬送物支持台9a,9bの詳細構造を図4〜図6に基づいて説明すると、各被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、ハンガー側枠5a,5bから被搬送物W側へ延出する略水平の支持姿勢Hと、ハンガー側枠5a,5bに略沿った倒立格納姿勢Vとに切り換え自在なもので、水平支持姿勢Hにある被搬送物支持台9a,9bの外端(先端)上側に支持用治具(支持部)10が付設されると共に、ハンガー側枠5a,5bに設けられた支持部材11により当該水平支持姿勢Hにある被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端寄り底部が支持され、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端が昇降駆動手段12に連結されて略垂直に昇降可能に支持されている。

更に詳述すると、被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、両側板13a,13bを連結部材14a〜14cで互いに連結一体化したもので、図4に示すように、両側板13a,13bの底辺13cは突出円弧形に形成され、前記支持部材11は、当該両側板13a,13bの円弧形底辺13cを各別に支持すると共に、その鍔部で被搬送物支持台9a,9bを位置決めする左右一対の同心状の鍔付きローラー15a,15bから構成されている。

上記構成の左右一対の被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、図4に実線で示すように水平支持姿勢Hにあるとき、その外端上側の支持用治具10で被搬送物Wの側辺を支持することが出来るが、このとき係止手段19の両ピン20a,20bを作用位置に突出させておくことにより、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bに作用する、支持部材11(鍔付きローラー15a,15b)との接点を支点とする外端下降方向(内端上動方向)のモーメントをピン20a,20bで受け止めさせ、当該モーメントがシリンダーユニット18のピストンロッド18a側に圧縮力として作用するのを防止出来る。

水平支持姿勢Hにある被搬送物支持台9a,9bを倒立格納姿勢Vに切り換えるときは、作用位置にある係止手段19の両ピン20a,20bをシリンダーユニット22a,22bにより外側(互いに離間する方向)に後退移動させ、これら両ピン20a,20bを退避位置に切り換えて、被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端の上動を許す状態に切り換える。係る状態で昇降駆動手段12の両シリンダーユニット18を、収縮するピストンロッド18aで被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端を引き上げるように作動させる。このとき被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端は、ガイドローラー16a,16bとハンガー側枠5a,5b側の昇降用ガイドレール17a,17bとにより垂直にのみ昇降可能に支持されているので、その円弧形底辺13cがハンガー側枠5a,5b側の支持部材11(鍔付きローラー15a,15b)に転動可能に支持されている状態で内端が真上に引き上げられることになり、被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、図4に仮想線で示すように、支持用治具10のある外端部が下側に膨らむ円弧状経路を経由するようにして倒立格納姿勢Vに切り換えられる。この倒立格納姿勢Vに達した被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、吊り上げられた内端に対し、支持部材11(鍔付きローラー15a,15b)に支持される下向きの外端部が内側に位置するように若干傾斜する姿勢でシリンダーユニット18により吊り下げられた状態で安定する。

倒立格納姿勢Vにある被搬送物支持台9a,9bを水平支持姿勢Hに戻すときは、シリンダーユニット18のピストンロッド18aを伸張させて倒立格納姿勢Vにある被搬送物支持台9a,9bの上向きの内端を垂直下方へ押し下げることにより、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bは、下降に伴ってハンガー側枠5a,5b側の支持部材11(鍔付きローラー15a,15b)を支点に内側へ水平方向に向きを変えながら移動し、シリンダーユニット18のピストンロッド18aが伸長限に達したとき、図4に実線で示す水平支持姿勢Hへの切り換えが完了する。この後、係止手段のピン20a,20bをシリンダーユニット22a,22bにより進出させて作用位置に切り換えることにより、当該ピン20a,20bが水平支持姿勢Hの被搬送物支持台9a,9bの内端上側面に当接し、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bを水平支持姿勢Hにロックすることが出来る。

図1に示す設備全体の使用方法を説明すると、この設備では、地点P1に併設された被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)で吊下搬送用走行体1の被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2に被搬送物Wを積み込み、この被搬送物Wを地点P2まで搬送した後、当該地点P2に併設されたドロップリフターDLに移載するか、又はこの逆に、地点P2に併設されたドロップリフターDLから被搬送物Wを吊下搬送用走行体1の被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2に積み込み、この被搬送物Wを地点P1まで搬送し、当該地点P1に併設された被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)で被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2から被搬送物Wを降ろすことが出来る。

而して、地点P1や地点P2で被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2に被搬送物Wを積み込むときは、被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の前側左右一対の被搬送物支持台7a,7bを垂直支軸の周りで水平に前方外側へ90度旋回させてハンガー側枠4a,4bから前方へ延出する退避姿勢に切り換えると共に、後ろ側左右一対の被搬送物支持台9a,9bを先に説明した方法で水平支持姿勢Hから倒立格納姿勢に切り換えた状態で、吊下搬送用走行体1を地点P1又は地点P2の定位置に停止させる。この後、被搬送物Wを支持している前記被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLを、その被搬送物Wが被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の被搬送物支持レベルより高くなるレベルまで上昇させるが、地点P1又は地点P2の被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLと当該地点P1又は地点P2に進入してくる吊下搬送用走行体1の被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2とが干渉しないときは、地点P1又は地点P2に吊下搬送用走行体1が進入してくる前に、被搬送物Wを支持している前記被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLを、その被搬送物Wが被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の被搬送物支持レベルより高くなるレベルまで上昇させて待機させておくことが出来る。

地点P1又は地点P2に吊下搬送用走行体1が到着すれば、前記被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLが支持する被搬送物Wより低い高さに於いて、被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の前側左右一対の被搬送物支持台7a,7bを垂直支軸の周りで水平に後方内側へ90度旋回させてハンガー側枠4a,4bから内側へ直角に延出する支持姿勢に切り換えると共に、後ろ側左右一対の被搬送物支持台9a,9bを先に説明した方法でハンガー側枠5a,5bから内側へ水平に延出する水平支持姿勢Hに切り換える。この後、前記被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLにより支持されている被搬送物Wを降下させ、当該被搬送物Wを被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の前側左右一対の被搬送物支持台7a,7b及び後ろ側左右一対の被搬送物支持台9a,9bの各支持用治具8,10上に乗り移らせる。この状態で吊下搬送用走行体1を走行させると、被搬送物Wを支持した被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2と前記被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLとが干渉するときは、当該被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLをその干渉を避け得るレベルまで下降させた状態で、被搬送物Wが積み込まれた吊下搬送用走行体1を走行させれば良い。

上記と逆に、地点P1や地点P2で被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2から被搬送物Wを降ろすときは、当該地点P1又は地点P2の定位置に吊下搬送用走行体1を停止させ、支持姿勢にある四つの被搬送物支持台7a,7b,9a,9bで支持されている被搬送物Wより低レベルで待機させているテーブルリフターやランニングフォーク等の被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLを上昇させ、当該被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLで被搬送物Wを被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2からすくい上げさせる。この状態で吊下搬送用走行体1を走行させると、被搬送物Wをすくい上げた状態の前記被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLと被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2とが干渉するときは、被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の前側左右一対の被搬送物支持台7a,7bを垂直支軸の周りで水平に前方外側へ90度旋回させてハンガー側枠4a,4bから前方へ延出する退避姿勢に切り換えると共に、後ろ側左右一対の被搬送物支持台9a,9bを先に説明した方法で水平支持姿勢Hから倒立格納姿勢に切り換え、これら四つの被搬送物支持台7a,7b,9a,9bを平面視に於いて被搬送物Wの外側へ変位させた状態で前記被搬送物積み降ろし手段(図示省略)又はドロップリフターDLを下降させて、支持する被搬送物Wを、吊下搬送用走行体1の走行に伴う被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の移動経路から下方へ逃がし、この後、吊下搬送用走行体1を走行させれば良い。

以上のように、吊下搬送用走行体1の被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2を使用することが出来るのであるが、この実施形態に於ける被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の後ろ側左右一対の被搬送物支持台9a,9bの構成によれば、例えば当該被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2との間で被搬送物Wの積み降ろしが行われるドロップリフターDLを、図1Aに実線で示すと共に図4及び図6にそれぞれ仮想線で示すように構成することが出来る。即ち、この種のドロップリフターDLは、吊下搬送用走行体1の走行経路の左右両側でそれぞれ昇降用ガイド支柱23a,23bに案内されて昇降する左右一対の昇降キャレッジ24a,24bに被搬送物Wの左右両側辺を各別に支持する支持アーム25a,25bを設けたものであるが、これら支持アーム25a,25bは、例えば被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2が支持していた被搬送物Wを昇降キャレッジ24a,24bの上昇によりすくい上げた状態に於いて、被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の各被搬送物支持台7a,7b及び9a,9bが支持姿勢から退避姿勢に切り換わるときの運動を妨害しない位置になければならない。勿論、これら支持アーム25a,25bは、被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の各支持用治具8,10による支持位置から遠く離れた位置で被搬送物Wを支持するのではなく、当該支持用治具8,10に隣接する位置で被搬送物Wを支持することが出来るものでなければならない。

而して、被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2の前側左右一対の支持用治具8は、退避姿勢に切り換わるとき前方外方へ水平に旋回するものであるから、この支持用治具8に対しては、被搬送物Wを支持するときの当該支持用治具8の後方側に隣接する位置で被搬送物Wを支持する支持用治具26を備えた支持アーム27a,27bを設ければ良い。又、後ろ側左右一対の支持用治具10は前後方向に長いものであるが、退避姿勢に切り換わるとき、平面視に於いてハンガー側枠5a,5bと重なる位置まで真横外方に移動するものであるから、この支持用治具10に対しては、被搬送物Wを支持するときの当該支持用治具10の前後両側に隣接する位置で被搬送物Wを支持する前後一対の支持用治具28,29を各別に備えた前後一対の支持アーム30a,31a及び30b,31bを設けることが出来る。又、これら各三つの支持アーム27a,30a,31a及び27b,30b,31bが取り付けられる昇降キャレッジ24a,24bを、ハンガー側枠5a,5bの外側に隣接するように配設することが出来る。

この実施形態でのドロップリフターDLは、吊下搬送用走行体1の被搬送物吊下搬送用ハンガー2と下方の他の搬送手段等との間で被搬送物Wを昇降搬送するものであって、当該下方の他の搬送手段等との間での被搬送物Wの受け渡しに必要なため、前記各支持アーム27a,30a,31a及び27b,30b,31bは、図3に示すように、昇降キャレッジ24a,24bに対して水平に出退移動自在に支持されている。

尚、上記実施形態では、被搬送物Wの左右両側辺の前側はそれぞれ一箇所を支持すれば良いので、従来周知の水平旋回式の被搬送物支持台7a,7bを利用したが、後ろ側と同様に、前後方向に所要長さを有する領域の少なくとも前後両端二箇所を支持する必要があるときは、後ろ側左右一対の被搬送物支持台9a,9bと同様の構成の被搬送物支持台を設けることが出来る。又、被搬送物支持台9a,9bを備えたハンガー側枠5a,5bは、吊下搬送用走行体1に対して完全に固定されている必要はなく、ドロップリフターDLやその他の被搬送物積み降ろし手段との干渉を避けることが出来る範囲で左右横方向に揺動又はスライド可能に構成して、このハンガー側枠5a,5bの外側への開動と昇降駆動手段12による被搬送物支持台9a,9b内端の引き上げとを組み合わせて、当該被搬送物支持台9a,9bを倒立格納姿勢Vへ切り換えるように構成することも可能である。

【発明の効果】
本発明の吊下搬送用ハンガーは以上のように実施し且つ使用することができるものであって、係る本発明の吊下搬送用ハンガーによれば、ハンガー側枠に支持された少なくとも一つの被搬送物支持台が、ハンガー側枠から被搬送物側へ略水平に延出する支持姿勢から昇降駆動手段による内端の引き上げにより倒立格納姿勢に切り換わるように構成されているので、当該被搬送物支持台に関しては、被搬送物を支持する位置と当該被搬送物から横側方に逃げた位置との間の被搬送物支持台の運動経路が平面視に於いて吊下搬送用走行体の走行方向に対し略直角の左右横方向であり、しかも当該被搬送物支持台を支持するハンガー側枠から外側へははみ出させないように構成することも可能(許容限度内ではみ出ても良い)であるから、この吊下搬送用ハンガーとの間で被搬送物の受け渡しを行うドロップリフターその他の被搬送物積み降ろし手段側の被搬送物支持部を、例えば実施形態に示したように、前記被搬送物支持台を前後両側及び外側から取り囲むように構成することが出来る。
