自動車用ワイヤハーネスに取り付けて車体パネルの貫通孔に挿通係止する弾性体からなるグロメットであって、
上記ワイヤハーネスを密着させて貫通させる筒部の後端側に、径方向に突出する環状部を介して、車体係止溝を外周面に凹設した大径筒部の軸線方向前端と連結し、かつ、
上記車体係止溝のシールリップを設けた前側壁の外周より上記筒部の前端へと延在する少なくとも3本の引張片を周方向に間隔をあけて設け、これら引張片の先端を上記筒部の前端側と共に上記ワイヤハーネスにテープ巻で固着し、
上記筒部を前端側より車体パネルの貫通孔に引き込んで上記車体係止溝の前側壁を貫通孔を通過させた状態で上記シールリップは上記引張片に引っ張られて車体パネルより離反し、上記引き込みを解くと上記環状部が原形に復帰することにより上記シールリップが車体パネルに密着する構成としているグロメット。
