Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a quick-connect terminal device that is housed in a case of a wiring device such as a switch or an outlet and connects an electric wire.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in wiring devices such as switches and outlets, quick connection terminals have been widely used to connect electric wires introduced into a container through an electric wire insertion hole provided in the container. As this type of quick connection terminal, as shown in FIG. 19, there is a space between a terminal plate 202 and a terminal plate 202 that comes into contact with the electric wire 101 housed in the vessel body 200 and introduced into the vessel body 200 through the electric wire insertion hole 201. And a lock spring 203 that clamps the electric wire is known (for example, see Patent Document 1). The locking spring 203 is a leaf spring, and is formed so as to hold the electric wire 101 by sandwiching the electric wire 101 between the contact piece 203 a and the locking piece 203 b provided on the locking spring 203 and the terminal plate 202. ing. That is, when the electric wire 101 is introduced into the main body 200 through the electric wire insertion hole 201 provided in the main body 200, the electric wire 101 bends in a direction to separate the contact piece 203a and the locking piece 203b from the terminal plate 202, and the contact piece 203a and the chain The electric wire 101 is configured to be sandwiched between the terminal plate 202 and the lock piece 203b by a spring force generated in the lock piece 203b. Here, in a state where the electric wire 101 is sandwiched between the terminal plate 202 and the contact piece 203a and the locking piece 203b, the edges of the contact piece 203a and the locking piece 203b elastically contact the electric wire 101, and When the locking piece 203b bites into the part, the electric wire 101 is prevented from coming off. Thus, since the electric wire 101 is held in a state where it is in contact with the terminal plate 202 simply by inserting the electric wire 101 into the electric wire insertion hole 201, the connection of the electric wire 101 is compared with a structure in which the electric wire 101 is connected using a terminal screw. Work becomes easy.
[0003]
Here, as shown in FIG. 20, an operation hole 204 is provided in the rear wall of the container body 200, and a release button 205 is housed and disposed inside the container body 200 on the back side of the operation hole 204. As shown in FIG. 21, the release button 205 is disposed beside the locking spring 203, and has a shape in which a pushing piece 205a that abuts on the rear surface side of the locking piece 203b of the locking spring 203 protrudes from the side surface. The operation hole 204 has such a shape that a tool 210 such as a tip of a minus driver can be inserted, and when the tool 210 is inserted into the operation hole 204 and the release button 205 is pressed forward, the lock piece 203b is pressed. By receiving a pressing force from 205a, it is bent in a direction away from the electric wire 101. Therefore, when a tool is inserted into the operation hole 204 and the release button 205 is pressed while the electric wire 101 is connected, the locking piece 203b is bent away from the electric wire 101 and the mechanical holding of the electric wire 101 is released. 101 can be pulled out from the container 200.

[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the conventional quick connection terminal device as described above, the shorter the length of the locking piece 203b, the larger the reaction force is obtained and the holding force of the electric wire 101 is increased, but the locking button 203b is bent by the release button 205. On the contrary, the longer the length of the locking piece 203b, the smaller the force to bend the locking piece 203b by the release button 205, but the reaction force of the locking piece 203b becomes smaller and the electric wire 101 Since the holding force becomes small, it is difficult to achieve both the improvement of the holding force of the electric wire and the reduction of the operation force during the release operation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment in which a quick connection terminal device according to the present invention is applied to a terminal portion of an outlet will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. However, the wiring device is not limited to an outlet, and it goes without saying that the technical idea of the present invention can be applied to a wiring device other than an outlet such as a switch.
[0015]
(Embodiment 1)
As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the container 1 is also excellent in tracking resistance, similarly to the body 10 formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape whose front surface is opened using a thermosetting synthetic resin excellent in tracking resistance. It is formed by joining a cover 20 formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape whose rear surface is opened using a thermosetting synthetic resin.
[0016]
The internal space of the body 10 is divided into two by a pair of partition walls 12 provided in the middle portion in the longitudinal direction. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, a partition wall 20 a is also formed in the cover 20, and when the body 10 and the cover 20 are joined, the partition wall 20 a of the cover 20 is fitted between the pair of partition walls 12 of the body 10. As a result, the internal space of the container 1 is divided into two independent chambers.
[0017]
In each storage chamber 13 formed through the partition wall 12 in the body 10, blade receptacles 31 for receiving plug blades of plugs are respectively stored. As shown in FIG. 7, each blade receiver 31 has a pair of blade receiving springs 32 that sandwich the plug blades at the tip portions facing each other, and a U-shape that continuously couples one side surfaces of the both blade receiving springs 32. And a blade receiving spring 33 that protrudes from the connecting piece 34 and faces the side surface of the double blade receiving spring 32. In addition, four cylindrical protrusions 34a are arranged in the connecting piece 34, and a terminal plate 41 (described later) is caulked and fixed to each pair of protrusions 34a.
[0018]
The terminal unit 40 includes a terminal plate 41 and a release button 60. As shown in FIG. 8A, the terminal plate 41 is hung from the substantially L-shaped main piece 42 and the narrow end of the main piece 42 to the rear (downward in FIG. 8B, the same applies hereinafter). A contact piece 43, a substantially J-shaped locking piece 44 that hangs backward from the other wide end of the main piece 42, and a fixing piece 45 that protrudes laterally from the side edge of the locking piece 44. It is formed integrally by processing a belt-shaped metal plate having elasticity and bending the tip of the contact piece 43 and the tip of the locking piece 44 so as to intersect. The contact piece 43 is provided with a contact portion 43a having a substantially flat surface and elastically contacting the electric wire, and a pair of pressing portions 43b and 43c for pressing the electric wire on both sides of the contact portion 43a along the insertion direction of the electric wire. Yes. In addition, the locking piece 44 positioned inside the contact piece 43 has a locking part 44a that presses the electric wire toward the contact part 43a and bites into a part of the electric wire to prevent it from coming off, and a locking part 44a. A receiving portion 44c that protrudes closer to the contact piece 43 than the locking portion 44a is provided in parallel with the receiving portion 44c, and a bent portion 44b that protrudes away from the electric wire (contact piece 43) is provided behind the locking portion 44a. It has been. 8C, the width dimension of the contact piece 43 is the width dimension of the lock piece 44 so that the locking part 44a faces the contact piece 43 and the receiving part 44c does not face the contact piece 43. It is set to about half. Further, the fixed piece 45 is provided with an insertion hole 45a through which a pair of projections 34a arranged in the connection piece 34 of the blade receiver 31 are inserted, and the projection 34a inserted through the pair of insertion holes 45a is provided. The fixing piece 45 is fixed to the connecting piece 34 of the blade receiver 31 by caulking. A blade receiving block 30 including a pair of terminal plates 41 and a blade receiver 31 fixed to the connecting piece 34 so as to be adjacent to the pair of blade receiving springs 32 is stored in each storage chamber 13 of the body 10.
[0019]
A pair of electric wire insertion holes 11 are provided in the bottom wall of each storage chamber 13 of the body 10 so that an electric wire can be introduced between the contact piece 43 and the locking piece 44. As shown in FIG. 10, when the electric wire 101 is inserted between the contact piece 43 and the locking piece 44 through the electric wire insertion hole 11, the locking portion 44 a of the locking piece 44 bites into the electric wire 101 and the electric wire 101 is pulled out. The electric wire 101 is elastically contacted with the contact portion 43a of the contact piece 43 by the spring force of the locking piece 44, and the electric wire 101 is further pressed toward the locking piece 44 by the pair of pressing portions 43b and 43c. The pressing force of the portion 44a and the pair of pressing portions 43b and 43c is balanced, and the electric wire 101 is held. However, the pressing portion 43c closer to the main piece 42 is chamfered on the surface in contact with the electric wire 101 to increase the contact area.
[0020]
By the way, the quick connection terminal in the conventional example is composed of a terminal plate 202a and a lock spring 203, and the terminal plate 202a is formed of a metal material having no spring property. For this reason, as shown in FIG. 21A, when the electric wire 101 is inserted in a normal state straight with respect to the terminal plate 202a and the lock spring 203, the contact area between the terminal plate 202a and the electric wire 101 is sufficiently large. However, when the electric wire 101 is inserted with an inclination with respect to the terminal plate 202a and the lock spring 203 as shown in FIG. 4B, the contact area between the terminal plate 202a and the electric wire 101 is reduced. There was a fear. On the other hand, in the terminal part 40 of this embodiment, it corresponds to the conventional terminal board 202a.Contact piece 43And corresponds to the conventional lock spring 203Locking piece 44Are integrally formed with the terminal plate 41 made of a metal plate having spring properties, so that even if the electric wire 101 is inclined and inserted,Contact piece 43Can follow the inclination of the electric wire 101 because it has springiness, and also has springinessLocking piece 44The electric wire 101 isContact piece 43The connection state of the terminal board 41 and the electric wire 101 can be stabilized regardless of the insertion state of the electric wire 101 by being pressed toward the direction.
[0021]
On the other hand, a release button 60 that constitutes the terminal portion 40 together with the terminal plate 41 is disposed in each storage chamber 13. The release button 60 is made of a synthetic resin molded product, and as shown in FIGS. 1 and 9, a pair of connecting portions 64, 64 project in the same direction from both ends of the rod-like operating portion 61, and each connecting portion 64, The tip portions of 64 are connected by a bridging portion 66 so that the whole is formed in a substantially square shape. Further, a pair of pushing portions 63 and 63 project from both ends of the bridging portion 66 in the direction opposite to the connecting portions 64 and 64, and an arm portion is substantially parallel to the pushing portion 63 from the central portion of the bridging portion 66. 62 is projected, and a support portion 65 is projected in a direction substantially perpendicular to the protruding direction of the arm portion 62 and opposite to the connecting portion 64. Further, at the tip of the arm portion 62, a cylindrical shaft portion 62a that is slidably mounted on a bearing base 14 provided in the body 10 as will be described later, the axial direction thereof is the longitudinal direction of the bridging portion 66. It is provided so that it may become parallel. Then, as will be described later, the shaft portion 62a is rotatably supported while the support portion 65 is in contact with the fixed rib 28 provided on the cover 20 and is placed on the bearing base 14. Here, a side surface 65a of the support portion 65 opposite to the shaft portion 62a is formed in a cylindrical surface, and a curved surface (cylindrical surface) 28a that is in sliding contact with the side surface 65a of the support portion 65 is formed at the tip of the fixing rib 28. ing.
[0022]
On the other hand, a pair of longitudinal grooves 15 communicating with the respective storage chambers 13 are arranged in parallel on both side surfaces of the body 10 in the longitudinal direction, and the release button 60 is connected to the connection portion 64 and the operation portion 61 of the body 10 through the longitudinal groove 15. The pair of pushing portions 63, 63 are exposed to the outside and face the receiving portion 44c of the locking piece 44 of the terminal plate 41 (see FIG. 12), and the shaft portion 62a is attached to the bearing base 14 provided in the storage chamber 13. And the support portion 65 is brought into contact with the tip of the fixing rib 28 of the cover 20 so that the shaft portion 62a can be pivoted along the front-rear direction (vertical direction in FIG. 1) of the container body 1. It arrange | positions in the storage chambers 13 and 13 (refer FIG. 3). Here, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 13, a relief portion 62 b for allowing the bearing base 14 to escape is recessed in the rear surface side of the arm portion 62.
[0023]
Thus, in order to pull out the electric wire connected to the terminal portion 40, the operation portion 61 exposed on the side surface of the container body 1 through the longitudinal grooves 15 and 15 may be operated with a finger. That is, as shown in FIG. 14B, if the operation unit 61 is operated to be pushed forward (upward in FIG. 14), the release button 60 rotates around the shaft portion 62a as a fulcrum. By pressing the receiving portions 44c of the terminal plates 41 facing each other at 63, the locking pieces 44 are bent so that the locking portions 44a biting into the electric wires are separated from the electric wires, and the electric wires can be pulled out.
[0024]
In the conventional quick-connect terminal device, the wire must be pulled out while operating the release button using a tool, so hold the wiring fixture with one hand and insert the tool held in the other hand into the operation hole. When the release button is operated, both hands are blocked, and it is difficult to pull out the wire from the wire insertion hole. On the other hand, in the present embodiment, the release button 60 is rotated by operating the operation unit 61 of the release button 60 exposed on the side surface of the body 1 with a finger (for example, thumb) of the hand holding the body 1. The locking portion 44a biting into the electric wire can be separated from the electric wire, the holding of the container 1 and the operation of the release button 60 can be performed simultaneously with one hand, and the electric wire can be pulled out with the other hand. Compared with the quick-connect terminal device, the wire can be easily removed. In this embodiment, the width dimension of the contact piece 43 is set to be narrower (approximately half) than the width dimension of the locking piece 44, and a space necessary for the release button 60 to bend the locking piece 44 is widened. Thus, the operability of the release button 60 is improved.
[0025]
By the way, as explained in the prior art, the shorter the length of the locking piece 44, the larger the reaction force is obtained and the holding force of the electric wire 101 is increased. However, the force to bend the locking piece 44 by the release button 60 is large. On the contrary, the longer the length of the locking piece 44, the smaller the force for bending the locking piece 44 by the release button 60, but the reaction force of the locking piece 44 becomes smaller and the holding force of the electric wire 101 becomes smaller. Therefore, it is difficult to achieve both the improvement of the holding force of the electric wire and the reduction of the operation force during the release operation. On the other hand, in the present embodiment, the receiving portion 44c pushed and moved by the release button 60 is provided so as to protrude from the tip of the locking piece 44 to the front side of the locking portion 44a. The operation force necessary to bend the locking piece 44 by the release button 60 while maintaining the holding force of 101 can be reduced, and both the improvement of the holding force of the electric wire 101 and the reduction of the operation force during the releasing operation can be achieved. Is possible. However, it is desirable to form the receiving portion 44 c so that the tip does not protrude outward from the contact piece 43. That is, if the tip of the receiving portion 44c protrudes outward from the contact piece 43, an external force is inadvertently applied to the receiving portion 44c when the terminal plate 41 is manufactured or assembled, resulting in problems such as deformation. However, the occurrence of such a problem can be prevented by forming the tip of the receiving portion 44c to have the above dimensions.
[0026]
By the way, an insertion portion 24 into which a pair of plug blades provided in one plug can be inserted is formed on the front wall of the cover 20 for one port. The insertion portion 24 includes insertion openings 25 that open at portions corresponding to the blade receiving springs 32 and 33 of each blade receiver 31, and each insertion opening 25 is a flat plug blade insertion into which a flat flat plug blade is inserted. The opening 25a and the pin-type plug blade insertion port 25b into which a round pin-shaped pin-type plug blade is inserted are formed into a shape that communicates with each other. That is, the flat type plug blade insertion port 25a has a rectangular shape, and has a shape in which the circular pin type blade insertion port 25b communicates with one side edge of the middle portion in the longitudinal direction. Further, the distance between the centers of the pin-type plug blade insertion ports 25b is larger than the distance between the centers of the flat-type plug blade insertion ports 25a. The flat type plug blade inserted into the flat type plug blade insertion port 25a is sandwiched between the side surface of the blade receiving spring 32 and the blade receiving spring 33, and the pin type plug blade inserted into the pin type plug blade insertion port 25b is It is clamped between the pair of blade receiving springs 32.
[0027]
Next, a structure for assembling the container 1 by combining the body 10 and the cover 20 will be described. In the present embodiment, the body 10 is assembled by joining the body 10 and the cover 20 by fitting the assembly member 50 to the fitting portions 6 and 7 provided on both the body 10 and the cover 20. It has become.
[0028]
On both side surfaces facing the longitudinal direction of the body 10, as shown in FIG. 4, prismatic fitting portions 6 project from a central portion sandwiched between a pair of vertical grooves 15. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5, a pair of fitting portions 7 are provided on both side surfaces of the cover 20 in the longitudinal direction. Here, as shown in FIG. 5D, the fitting portion 7 protruding from the cover 20 has a notch 7a formed at one of the four corners.
[0029]
The assembly member 50 is made of a synthetic resin molded product having elasticity, and as shown in FIG. 6, a pair of fitting holes 51 and 51 for fitting with the fitting portions 7 and 7 of the cover 20 are arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction. A strip-shaped main piece 52 and a fitting hole 53a that fits with the fitting portion 6 of the body 10 are provided, and the convex piece 53 having an inverted convex shape that protrudes rearward from the center of the rear end edge of the main piece 52. A locking protrusion 54 having a locking claw 54a at the tip protrudes from both corners overlapping the corners of the fitting holes 51 on the back side of the main piece 52 facing the container 1 It is installed. Further, at both front ends of the surface of the main piece 52, a mounting plate for embedding and arranging an embedded wiring device on the construction surface, or a flash plate having a wiring device mounting structure (hereinafter simply referred to as “ A pair of attachment portions (attachment claws) 55 are provided so as to engage with the engagement holes provided in the “plate” and attach the container 1 to the attachment frame or the plate frame.
[0030]
On the other hand, on both side surfaces in the longitudinal direction of the cover 20, a concave groove 27 communicating with the notch 7 a of the fitting portion 7 and a locking projection piece 54 of the assembly member 50 provided on the back side of the concave groove 27 are provided. The locked portion 26 to which the locking claw 54a is locked is formed on the back side in the vicinity of both end portions in the longitudinal direction (see FIG. 5C).
[0031]
Thus, in order to assemble the body 1 by joining the body 10 and the cover 20, the locking protrusion 54 is inserted into the concave groove 27 in a state where the body 10 and the cover 20 are abutted on the opening surface side. When the assembly member 50 is pressed toward the opposite side surfaces of the container body 1 in the longitudinal direction, the fitting portions 6 and 7 of the body 10 and the cover 20 are fitted in the fitting holes 53a and 51 of the assembly member 50, respectively. At the same time as the body 10 and the cover 20 are coupled, the locking claw 54 a provided at the tip of the locking protrusion 54 is locked to the locked portion 26 of the cover 20, so that the assembly member 50 is fitted. The drop-off from the joint portions 6 and 7 can be prevented.
[0032]
(Embodiment 2)
FIG. 15 is a perspective view showing the terminal board 41 in the present embodiment. The terminal plate 41 includes a substantially U-shaped main piece 42, a pair of contact pieces 43 suspended rearward from the narrow end edges of the main piece 42, and both side edges of the main piece 42 at the other wide end. A pair of substantially J-shaped locking pieces 44 that are hung from the back to the rear, and an elastic band-shaped metal plate is processed so that the tip of the contact piece 43 and the tip of the locking piece 44 intersect each other. And are integrally formed. That is, the terminal plate 41 in the present embodiment is obtained by replacing the two terminal plates 41 in the first embodiment (each terminal plate 41 is in a mirror image relationship) with the main pieces 42 such that the locking portions 44a are adjacent to each other. It has a connected shape. Since the configuration other than the terminal board 41 is substantially the same as that of the first embodiment, illustration and description thereof are omitted.
[0033]
As described above, in the present embodiment, the plurality of terminal plates 41 and 41 are integrally formed to reduce the number of parts, thereby reducing cost and improving assemblability.
[0034]
(Embodiment 3)
FIG. 16 is a perspective view showing the terminal board 41 in the present embodiment. The terminal plate 41 has a shape in which the two terminal plates 41 in the first embodiment are connected to each other by the main pieces 42 so that the receiving portions 44c are adjacent to each other. A pair of contact pieces 43 that are hung backward from both narrow edges of the piece 42 and a pair of substantially J-shaped locking pieces 44 that are hung back from both side edges on the other wide end of the main piece 42. It is formed integrally by processing a belt-like metal plate having elasticity and bending the tip of the contact piece 43 and the tip of the locking piece 44 so as to intersect each other. Therefore, as in the second embodiment, the plurality of terminal plates 41 and 41 are formed integrally to reduce the number of parts, thereby reducing costs and improving assemblability. Since the configuration other than the terminal board 41 is substantially the same as that of the first embodiment, illustration and description thereof are omitted.
[0035]
In the present embodiment, a projecting piece 44d extends from the two adjacent receiving portions 44c toward the other. For this reason, there is an advantage that the width dimension of the release button (not shown) in the direction orthogonal to the direction in which the receiving portion 44c is pushed (left and right direction in FIG. 16) can be reduced.
[0036]
(Embodiment 4)
FIG. 17 is a perspective view showing the terminal board 41 in the present embodiment. The terminal plate 41 is characterized in that, in the terminal plate 41 of the third embodiment, the connecting portion 44d between the receiving portion 44c and the locking piece 44 is formed narrower than the other portions of the receiving portion 44c. The other configurations are substantially the same as those in the third and first embodiments, and therefore illustration and description thereof are omitted.
[0037]
Thus, by forming the connecting portion 44d of the receiving portion 44c and the locking piece 44 to be narrower than the other portions of the receiving portion 44c, the receiving portion 44c is easily bent at the narrow connecting portion 44d, The operating force of the release button 60 can be further reduced.
[0038]
(Embodiment 5)
FIG. 18 is a perspective view showing the terminal board 41 in the present embodiment. This terminal plate 41 is characterized in that the thickness of the receiving portion 44c is set smaller than the thickness of the locking piece 44 in the terminal plate 41 of the third embodiment, and other configurations are the third embodiment and the third embodiment. 1 and the description thereof will be omitted.
[0039]
Thus, if the thickness of the receiving portion 44c (or the receiving portion 44c and the locking portion 44a) is reduced by making the receiving portion 44c thinner than the locking piece 44, the receiving portion 44c is easily bent and the release button 60 is thus bent. The operating force can be further reduced.
[0040]
【The invention's effect】
