Description
【0001】

例えば、空気のMaxcondentherm(MC)point(多成分流体において、気相と液相が共存しうる最高の温度とそこでの圧力を示す相図上の点。)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for desorbing and collecting magnetic particles that can be used in energy equipment and industrial equipment.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, the magnetic force acting on magnetic particles placed in a vacuum is expressed as follows.
[Expression 1]
Note that the integral is taken over the entire volume of the particles. This notation can be extended for particles in the dispersion medium. In order to simplify the explanation, for example, the magnetic force in the x direction acting on the magnetic particles, F x , based on the magnetic field gradient in the x direction, dB / dx, can be expressed by the following equation.
[Expression 2]
Here, V represents the volume of the particles, and χ P and χ m represent the magnetic susceptibility of the particles and the dispersion medium. As can be seen from Equation (2), the three major elements in magnetic separation are the volume of the particles, the magnetic difference between the particles and the dispersion medium, and the magnitude of the magnetic field gradient.
[0003]
Normally, when attract particles for the separation to the magnet, with the large magnetic field gradients, the particles by generating a large magnetic force F x is fixed to the magnet. And when recovering fixed particles off the magnetic field, it weakens the magnetic field gradient (because the residual magnetic field is a little left) to reduce the F x by, separating the particles from the magnet. Here, since χ P and χ m are values inherent to the substance, they cannot be basically controlled. Also, since in general have a substantially fixed size by particle volume also substances eventually or strengthen F x under the control of the magnetic field, a method to weaken the separation and recovery is employed (e.g., (See Patent Document 1).
In addition, by cooling the high-pressure air using cold heat such as liquefied natural gas and applying a magnetic field to the cooled high-pressure air, oxygen and nitrogen are separated using the difference in magnetic susceptibility between oxygen and nitrogen. The technique which performs is known (for example, refer patent document 2).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the present inventor has obtained new knowledge that the magnetic force Fx can be controlled by controlling the particle volume V depending on the substance.
An object of the present invention is to provide a magnetic particle desorption / recovery method and apparatus capable of recovering magnetic particles without controlling the magnetic field by controlling the particle volume V.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the magnetic particle desorption / recovery method of the present invention sets a multi-component fluid in a supercritical state in a container to which an external magnetic field is applied, and then controls the pressure or temperature in the container. By moving the multi-component fluid in the container away from the supercritical state, the particle size of each fluid constituting the multi-component fluid is controlled to control the magnetic force acting on each particle, and the particles are desorbed and collected from the magnetic field. It is characterized by doing.
The magnetic particle desorption / recovery device of the present invention is provided with a temperature controller for setting the introduced multi-component fluid to a supercritical temperature , and a separation cell is provided downstream of the temperature controller via a line with an on-off valve. the provided, the separating cell provided with a means for applying a magnetic field to the magnetic separation filter provided with a pressure regulating means to distance the magnetic separation filter and isolation cells from setting or supercritical pressure supercritical pressure of the multicomponent fluid separation cell The inside is set to a supercritical state of the multi-component fluid, and then the pressure adjusting means is controlled so as to be away from the supercritical state .
In addition, the magnetic particle desorption / recovery device of the present invention is characterized in that a plurality of separation cells are provided in parallel on the downstream side of the temperature controller via a conduit with a flow path switching valve.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
For example, a critical pale white phenomenon can be observed in the vicinity of the maximum density (MC) point of air (the point on the phase diagram showing the maximum temperature at which the gas phase and the liquid phase can coexist and the pressure in a multi-component fluid). There, the constituent molecules of air are polymerized and clustered, and the size grows to the size of the wavelength of light (on the order of 100 nm). When magnetic separation of oxygen from air is performed, a large magnetic force acts on the oxygen molecules clustered by setting the temperature and pressure near the critical point, and is attracted to the magnet. Here, the paramagnetic oxygen having a high magnetic susceptibility corresponds to particles, and the diamagnetic nitrogen having a low magnetic susceptibility and other gases correspond to the dispersion medium. When recovering oxygen, the pressure or temperature is deviated from the critical point. For example, the simplest method is decompression, but by doing this, the clustered molecules are broken apart to the original molecular size (on the order of 0.1 nm). Then, the magnetic force Fx is weakened rapidly, and the diffusing force becomes greater than the magnetic force, so that it can be separated from the magnet or the magnetized material (magnetic material).
[0008]
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
[First Embodiment]
FIG. 1 shows an example in which high gradient magnetic separation (HGMS) is applied to magnetic separation of oxygen from air.
First, the high pressure air 1 is introduced into the temperature controller 2. The introduced high-pressure air 1 is subjected to heat exchange through the heat exchanger 4 and the cold heat of the cold heat source 3 generated by LNG cold heat, a refrigerator, etc., and adjusted to the critical point temperature. The temperature is adjusted by a thermometer 5 and a

FIG. 2 shows an example of a system that continuously performs the series of processes described in FIG. The series of processes described above can be realized by arranging a plurality of separation cells. Here, an example using two simplest separation cells is shown. [Third Embodiment]
FIG. 3 shows an example in which open gradient magnetic separation (open gradient method) is applied to magnetic separation of oxygen from air. An open gradient method uses a spatial gradient of a magnetic field generated by an electromagnet or a permanent magnet. In the apparatus shown in FIG. 1, the

[0014]
In the case of FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 described above, the pressure is adjusted, but the temperature can be similarly adjusted.
For oxygen, by controlling the pressure or temperature, it is possible to 10 9 about the volume control of the particle, because it makes it possible to control the magnetic forces acting on the particles, detach particles without turning off the magnetic field Is possible. In addition, since it is considered that the critical white light phenomenon occurs near the critical point of the multicomponent fluid, the particle size control by the pressure and temperature described above is not limited to air, but all multicomponent fluids including paramagnetic molecules It is applicable to. As described above, the present invention only needs to control the magnetic force by controlling the particle diameter, and can be applied to any magnetic separation method such as high gradient magnetic separation (HGMS) or open gradient method.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention has been made on the basis of a new finding that has not been considered in the past, that it is possible to control the magnetic force by controlling the volume of particles depending on the substance. This has an epoch-making effect that it becomes possible to collect the sucrose.
This eliminates the need for a process of taking out the magnetic separation filter from the separation cell and recovering the magnetic particles, thereby enabling efficient recovery. In addition, since a superconducting magnet generates a magnetic field in a permanent current mode, if there is no process for cutting off the magnetic field, the advantages inherent in superconducting equipment can be utilized, and energy efficiency can be dramatically improved.
Even when a normal electromagnet is used, if it can be used without turning off the magnetic field, the time required for separation is shortened, leading to an improvement in work efficiency.
Further, there is an advantage that a permanent magnet can be used, and a significant cost reduction can be achieved in the system equipment.
According to the present invention, it is possible to achieve magnetic separation of oxygen and nitrogen or production of oxygen-enriched air, which can contribute to the development of a completely new oxygen / nitrogen separation technology from supercritical air. In addition, it can contribute to the development of a separation technique for continuously separating and recovering a target substance from a multi-component fluid composed of a fluid having magnetism.
