Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a plant breeding and storage set, and more specifically to a set that can be stably grown and stored before transplanting aquatic plants into an aquarium fish tank.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Recently, in order to enrich the living space, aquariums have been installed in homes and offices to raise ornamental fish such as tropical fish. Such aquarium fish tanks are often planted with aquatic plants and the like to increase the value of the ornamental fish, but such aquatic plants are generally difficult to preserve.
[0003]
Therefore, aquatic plants are planted and stored in the aquarium, and if necessary, the aquatic plants are placed in a synthetic resin bag together with an appropriate amount of water, taken home, and transplanted by taking out the aquatic plants from the bag.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above conventional storage method is not only difficult to manage in the storage tank, but it is troublesome to transfer from the storage tank to the bag, and once the aquatic plants are put in the synthetic resin bag, it cannot be stored for a long time, There was a problem that the aquatic plants were damaged or withered and had to be discarded.
[0005]
This invention makes it a subject to enable it to preserve | save over a long period of time also in the case where there is no storage tank equipment in view of this problem.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The inventors of the present invention diligently studied to solve the above-mentioned problems. When nutrients necessary for growth were added to a solid medium in advance, aquatic plants were planted in the solid medium, placed in a container, sealed, and set. It has been found that if there is sufficient light and moderate temperature, it can be preserved for a considerable long time by its own photosynthetic action and nutrients of the medium.
[0007]
Therefore, the plant growing and storing set according to the present invention is a plant growing and storing set suitable for growing and storing plants, and a plant to be grown and stored is planted in a solid medium to which nutrients necessary for growing are added. The plant is sealed in a container together with the solid medium.
[0008]
One of the features of the present invention is that nutrients necessary for growth are added in advance to a solid medium, and aquatic plants are planted in the medium and placed in a sealed container. As a result, the plant grows by the photosynthetic action by slight light and the nutrients of the medium, and can be stored for a considerable long period. According to the test by the present inventors, it has been confirmed that it can be stored for 3 months or more.
[0009]
In addition, as a result of being able to store the plant in a sealed container for a long period of time, there is no need for a storage facility such as a water tank or the like, and there is no need to transfer it from the storage facility to a bag, thereby greatly improving the handling properties. Furthermore, if the sealed container is made to look good, it can be displayed as a decorative item during storage of the plant.
[0010]
The present invention is particularly effective when applied to the preservation of aquatic plants to be planted in aquarium fish tanks, but can also be applied to the preservation of other plants. The solid medium may be an agar medium or a gelatin medium.
[0011]
For example, when transplanting aquatic plants from a set to an aquarium fish tank, the solid medium causes soiling of the water, so it is necessary to remove the solid medium from the aquatic plants and transplant, but the aquatic plants have deep roots in the agar. It is difficult to remove the agar. Therefore, if a biodegradable net is placed on the surface of the solid medium and the plant is rooted in the medium via the biodegradable net, the medium can be easily removed by peeling the biodegradable net from the solid medium. Can be removed from aquatic plants.
[0012]
In this case, the biodegradable net is decomposed in about two weeks, during which time aquatic plants root in the sand in the ornamental fish tank and can be transplanted stably.
[0013]
In addition, when transplanting aquatic plants into the aquarium, there are concerns about adverse effects on ornamental fish if pests and bacteria are attached to the aquatic plants. Therefore, it is preferable to use a plant grown in a sterile room.
[0014]
When storing plants, it is necessary that the stored plants be exposed to even a little light. Therefore, it is preferable that all or a part of the container is a transparent glass container or a synthetic resin container.
[0015]
The amount of the solid medium is set according to the period to be stored. For example, in the case of storage for 3 months, 50 ml is optimal. The nutrients necessary for growth are MS as the basic medium, 30 g of saccharose is added per liter of the basic medium MS, 6 ppm benzylaminopurine when the aquatic plant is grosso, 0.3 ppm of naphthylacetic acid when the aquatic plant is glass. preferable.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on specific examples. FIG. 1 shows a preferred embodiment of a plant preservation set according to the present invention. In the figure, a container 10 is composed of a bottomed cylindrical main body 11 and a lid 12, and the main body 11 is manufactured using a transparent glass material, and the lid 12 is manufactured using cork.
[0017]
On the other hand, the solid medium 20 is produced in a substantially disc shape using 4 g of gellan gum per liter of the basic medium MS, and the solid medium 20 contains nutrients necessary for growing the aquatic plants 30, specifically, the basic medium MS, 30 g of saccharose is added in advance per liter of the basic medium MS, and a cotton net (biodegradable net) 21 is placed on the surface of the solid medium 20, and aquatic plants 30 are planted thereon to root the solid medium 20. It has been. The aquatic plants 30 used are those grown in a sterile room.
[0018]
In the plant preservation set of this example, if it is placed in a place where there is a certain amount of light unless it is a place where the temperature is extremely high, it can be grown for a considerable period of time by self-photosynthesis and nutrients of the solid medium 20 without opening the lid 12. Can do. Therefore, even when there is no conventional storage facility, it can be stored easily.
[0019]
In addition, the aquatic plants 30 are grown in a sterile room before being transferred into the container 10, and after being transferred into the container 10, they are grown in the container 10, so that the situation similar to that in the indoor growth can be created, so that the plants grow naturally. The aquatic plants 30 can be stably cultivated with little environmental change as compared to the case and without causing poor growth.
[0020]
When transplanting the aquatic plants 30, the lid 12 is opened, the aquatic plants 30 and the solid medium 20 are removed from the main body 11 of the container 10, and the roots of the aquatic plants 30 are peeled off from the solid medium 20 using the cotton net 21. Along with the cotton net 21, plant in the sand in the aquarium fish tank. Then, the cotton net 21 holds the aquatic plants 30 against the sand, so the aquatic plants 30 tend to have roots in the sand, and when the roots are completely stretched, specifically when about two weeks have passed, Only the aquatic plants 30 are left in the water tank after being decomposed.
