Description
発光面の傾斜角度が大きいときには、光源配列面から発光面の間の距離が大きく離れ、隣接する2つの光源間の距離を、光源配列面と発光面との間の距離が長くなるに従って短くしていくだけでは、発光面の輝度を均一化できない場合がある。この場合には、例えば光源配列面から発光面の間の距離がある程度以上はなれた位置で、光源配列面を発光面側にオフセットさせた光源配列面を更に配置することで、発光面で観察される輝度が不足する事態を回避し、発光面で観察される輝度を均一化できる。

Claims (9)
- 複数の光源が配列された光源配列面と、該光源配列面に対して傾斜した発光面とを有する直下型バックライト装置であって、
前記複数の光源は、前記光源配列面と前記発光面の間の距離が短い位置から長い位置に向かって、隣接する2つの光源間の距離が順次に短くなるように設定されることを特徴とする液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置。 - 前記隣接する2つの光源間の距離は、該隣接する2つの光源を結ぶ線分の垂直二等分線と前記発光面の交点と、前記隣接する2つの光源のそれぞれとの間の離隔距離が等しくなるように設定されている、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置。
- 前記光源配列面を複数有し、該複数の光源配列面は相互に異なる平面内に在る、請求項1又は2に記載の液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置。
- 複数の光源が配列された光源配列面と、該光源配列面に対して傾斜した発光面とを有する直下型バックライト装置であって、
前記複数の光源は、前記光源配列面と前記発光面の間の距離が短い位置から長い位置に向かって、各光源の輝度が順次に高くなるように設定されることを特徴とする液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置。 - 前記複数の光源は等間隔に配列される、請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置。
- 複数の光源が配列された光源配列面と、該光源配列面に対して傾斜した発光面とを有する直下型バックライト装置であって、
前記光源配列面と前記発光面との間に配設された光透過制御膜を備え、該光透過制御膜は、前記光源配列面と前記発光面の間の距離が短い位置から長い位置に向かって、光透過率が順次に高くなるように設定されることを特徴とする液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置。 - 前記複数の光源は等間隔に配列される、請求項6に記載の液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置。
- 前面及び背面にそれぞれ前記発光面を有する、請求項1〜7の何れか一に記載の液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置。
- 請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置用のバックライト装置と、該バックライト装置の前記前面の発光面及び前記背面の発光面にそれぞれ対応して配設された液晶表示面とを備えることを特徴とする両面型液晶表示装置。
