Description

The present invention relates to a seat reclining device for automobiles, and more particularly to a backlash prevention structure for an internal tooth seat reclining device.

A seat reclining device is often used as a seat device of an automobile, and a lock mechanism based on engagement between teeth is used as an inclination angle adjusting mechanism in the seat back. A conventionally known internal-tooth seat reclining device forms a fan-shaped recess centered on a hinge portion on a tooth plate connected to an arm fixed to a seat back, and a lock mechanism has teeth on an arc-shaped inner peripheral surface of the recess. The tooth member that forms the tooth part and the tooth part that engages with the tooth part is engaged with the guide part formed on the base plate so that the tooth member can be moved forward and backward, and the tooth member is operated. Both teeth are engaged and disengaged by advancing and retracting with a lever.

The internal tooth type seat reclining device is locked and unlocked by advancing and retracting the tooth member toward the tooth portion of the tooth plate through a slight gap formed between the tooth member and the guide portion. .

However, when the teeth of the tooth member and the tooth plate are engaged, that is, when the seat reclining device is in a locked state, if the seat back is subjected to a load on the seat back, the tooth member is placed on the guide portion of the base plate. Because of the slight gap that is sandwiched, the seat back may become loose in the front-rear direction, causing the occupant to feel uncomfortable, or feeling that the quality of the internal-tooth seat reclining device is poor. The generation of the gap is unavoidable because the tooth plate and the tooth member are varied within a certain range due to press working or heat treatment performed thereafter.

Therefore, the present invention provides a structure that solves the inconvenience of the internal tooth type seat reclining device.

The construction of the invention according to Claim 1, the base plate being fixed to the seat cushion, the tooth plate fixed to the seat back, pivotally and axially mounted through the center shaft, a recess of the fan-shaped on the tooth plate And forming a tooth portion on the arc-shaped inner peripheral surface of the concave portion, while providing a pair of guide portions parallel to each other to form a guide groove along the radial direction on the base plate, and a tooth member in the guide groove. The tooth member is accommodated and provided so as to be capable of advancing and retracting with respect to the tooth portion of the concave portion, the tooth member is provided with a tooth portion that engages with the tooth portion of the concave portion, and an urging means for advancing the tooth member; in automotive seat reclining apparatus provided with an operation lever to retract against the biasing force of the biasing means, wherein the tooth member to form a parallel sides and the guide portion, the pair At least one of the guide portions and at least partially to the tooth portion side, the meat of the guide portion is moved to project and form a close contact portion in contact with the side portion of the tooth member, and the guide portion and the tooth member The contact area with the side portion is reduced .

Therefore, the tooth member is formed through a guide portion in which at least the guide groove of the end portion on the side where the tooth portion meshes is formed from the surface of the guide groove of the other portion so as to contact the side portion of the tooth member. Since it is clamped closely enough to advance and retract toward the teeth of the plate, the clearance in the rotation direction around the center shaft is kept to a minimum even when a load is applied to the seat back, so the seat The backlash feeling is also reduced.

In the invention according to claim 1, the tooth member is formed with a side portion parallel to the guide portion, and at least one of the pair of guide portions and at least partially moving the meat of the guide portion to the tooth portion side. Since the close contact part that contacts the side part of the tooth member is formed to protrude and the contact area between the guide part and the side part of the tooth member is reduced, the internal seat reclining without hindering the sliding property of the sliding member It is possible to prevent a slight movement of the tooth member in the guide portion when the device is locked to eliminate the backlash of the seat back, and to obtain a high-quality automobile seat device that does not cause discomfort by sitting. The effect of being able to be obtained.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 to 3 show an internal tooth type seat reclining device. The first embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is slightly different from the second embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, but is basically the same. is there.

A tooth plate 3 is pivotally attached to a base plate 1 fixed to a seat cushion (not shown) via a center shaft 2 so as to be rotatable. An arm 5 is connected to the tooth plate 3 through a connection hole 4, and the arm 5 is fixed to a side surface of the seat back 46. Note that the tooth plate 3 may be directly fixed to the side surface of the seat back 4 b without using the arm 5. A base plate 1 fixed to a seat cushion (not shown) is formed with an arc portion 1a having a predetermined radius around the center shaft 2 on the upper side.

On the side of the tooth plate 3 facing the base plate 1, a fan-shaped recess 6 having a predetermined radius centered on the center shaft 2 is formed by embossing or the like, and a tooth portion 7 is formed on the arc-shaped inner peripheral wall of the recess 6. It is formed by press molding. A plate-like body 9 connected by a pin 8 inserted into the connecting hole 4 is fixed to the upper end portion of the tooth plate 3, and the plate-like body 9 slidably contacts the arc portion 1 a of the base plate 1 as a pressing member. And the tooth plate 3 are pressed so as not to be separated from each other.

That is, the plate-like body 9 is formed with an arc step portion 9a that is in sliding contact with the arc portion 1a within a predetermined range. The plate-like body 9 is fixed to the tooth plate 3 by a pin 80 penetrating the connecting hole 9c and the connecting hole 4a of the tooth plate 3, and the pin 8 is connected to the connecting hole 4 and the connecting hole 5a of the arm 5 and the plate-like body. These holes are tightened together through the connecting holes 9b. In place of the plate-like body 9, as shown in FIG. 2, the pins 38, 38 having a flange portion formed by expanding the head portion of the pin 8 are inserted into the connecting holes 4, and the flange portions are respectively formed on the base plate. The base plate and the tooth plate may be prevented from being peeled so as to be in sliding contact with two spaced apart points of one arc portion 1a.

A tooth member 11 having a tooth portion 10 meshing with the tooth portion 7 formed on an upper end edge having an arc shape is slidably housed in a recess 1 b formed in the base plate 1 and is sandwiched between the base plate 1 and the tooth plate 3. The base plate 1 is formed with guide portions 13 and 13 which are parallel to each other and have guide grooves 12 for sliding and guiding the tooth member 11 in the radial direction. The tooth member 11 has side portions 14 and 14 parallel to the guide portions 13 and 13 and an arm portion 15 projecting obliquely in a direction crossing the side portions 14 and 14.

A cam member 19 that sandwiches and slides the tooth member 11 between the guide portions 13 and 13 is sandwiched between the base plate 1 and the tooth plate 3 and pivotally supported by the center shaft 2 so as to be rotatable in the recess 6 and the base plate 1. It is stored in the recess 1b. The cam member 19 slides the tooth member 11 downward by abutting the head portion 20 contacting the lower surface of the tooth member 11 facing the tooth portion 10 and the arm portion 15 when rotated clockwise. It has an arm portion 21 for moving and disengaging the tooth portions 7 and 10.

The center shaft 2 has a substantially oval cross section at one end 2a. The center shaft 2 has a collar portion 2b that pivotally supports the flange portion 22, the operating lever 23, and the cam member 19 in order toward the other end portion. It comprises a shaft portion 2c to be fitted and a hook 2d provided at the other end portion. One end portion 2a of the center shaft 2 is inserted into the hole 1c provided in the base plate 1 from the concave portion 1b side, and is fixed to the base plate 1 by caulking or the like. The inner end of the spiral spring 27 is locked to the other end of the center shaft 2, and the outer end of the spiral spring 27 is locked to a pin 28 protruding from the tooth plate 3 and protruding outward. is there. Accordingly, the tooth plate 3 is always urged to rotate forward.

The operation lever 23 is formed with an embossed portion 33 in the vicinity of the center shaft 2, and a hole 34 for fitting the embossed portion 33 is formed in the cam member 19 so that the operation lever 23 and the cam member 19 are fitted together. It can rotate together. A knob 35 is attached to the free end of the operation lever 23. One end of a return spring 36 is locked to the operation lever 23, and the other end of the return spring 36 is locked to a pin 37 protruding from the base plate 1. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 2, the other end of the return spring 36 is locked to a spring seat 44 fixed to the base plate 1.

In the case of FIGS. 2 and 3, a projection 39 is formed integrally with the operation lever 23, and a pin 40 is projected from the projection 39. The pin 40 is formed on the base plate 1 around the center shaft 2. It fits into the arc long hole 43 and protrudes to the back side of the base plate 1. A U-shaped interlocking lever 41 that engages with the pin 40 is rotatably supported by a pin 42 that protrudes on the back side of the base plate 1. One end of the interlocking tube 45 is fixed on the rotation axis of the interlocking lever 41 by welding or the like, and the other end is fixed to the interlocking lever in the inner side seat reclining device (not shown), and the left and right sides of the rear part of the seat A left-right interlocking structure is provided when both ends of a symmetrical internal teeth type seat reclining device are set.

Here, the structure in which the tooth member 11 is sandwiched between the guide portions 13 and 13 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. Originally, the gap 5 between the tooth member 11 and the guide portions 13 and 13 is preferably small. However, as described above, it may vary within a certain range due to press working or heat treatment. In order to avoid this, it is desirable that the clearance S between the tooth member 11 and the guide portions 13 and 13 is as small as possible on the end side of the stroke of the tooth member 11 in which the tooth portions 7 and 10 are engaged. For this purpose, the base plate 1 and the tooth member 11 are paired, and the relative positions of the two are set so as to correspond to the positions where the tooth portions 7 and 10 mesh with each other, and the guide portions 13 and 13 are made as much as possible. The meat is moved to the gap S side by striking with a punch or the like at the facing surface to form the striking portions 47 and 48. The planar shape of the hitting portions 47 and 48 is not limited to a circle as shown in FIG. 4, but may be a rectangle or an oval.

Accordingly, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the flapping portions 47 and 48 in the guide portions 13 and 13 of the base plate 1 move until the meat contacts the side portion 14 side of the tooth member 11, and the gap S at that portion disappears. The contact portions 49 and 50 are formed extremely small. In addition, although the hit | damage parts 47 and 48 were provided in the guide parts 13 and 13, respectively, it formed only in any one guide part 13 and 13 or each guide part 13 and 13 in one or several places. May be.

Next, the operation of the internal gear seat reclining device will be described. When the operating lever 23 is rotated clockwise around the center shaft 2 against the force of the return spring 36, both the cam members 19 are rotated clockwise. Then, the head portion 20 comes off from the lower surface of the tooth member 11, and the arm portion 21 comes into contact with the arm portion 15 from the upper side to slide the tooth member 11 in the direction of the center shaft 2 to engage the tooth portions 7 and 10. Is released. The tooth member 11 moves while being held between the guide portions 13 and 13 having the clearance S and the close contact portions 49 and 50.

Therefore, the seat back 46 is rotated in the forward tilt direction by the force of the spiral spring 27. Therefore, when the seat back 46 is pushed rearward to determine the inclination angle and the operating lever 23 is released, the operating lever 23 is returned to its original position by the force of the return spring 36 and the cam member 19 is rotated counterclockwise. The arm portion 21 is moved away from the arm portion 15 of the tooth member 11, and the head portion 20 of the cam member 19 is brought into contact with the lower side of the tooth member 11 and is slid upward. 10 and 7 mesh and become locked.

Thus, even if the tooth member 10 and the tooth portions 10 and 7 of the tooth plate 3 are in a locked state and a high load is generated on the seat back, the tooth member 11 is in close contact with the guide portions 13 and 13 of the base plate. 49 and 50 are held in a state where they cannot move in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body as much as possible, so that there is no backlash that the seat back 46 moves when locked, and quality can be improved.

Since the correction of the play described above can be performed on a specific pair of the base plate 1 and the tooth member 11 in the assembly line of the seat reclining device, high accuracy can be obtained. It is also possible to use a dummy having the same dimensions as the tooth member instead of the tooth member 11 when correcting the play.
