Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a seat reclining device for an automobile, and more particularly to a rattling preventing structure for an internal toothed seat reclining device.

2. Description of the Related Art A seat reclining device is often used as a seat device of an automobile, and a locking mechanism by meshing teeth is used as a mechanism for adjusting an inclination angle of a seat back of the seat reclining device. A conventionally well-known internal toothed seat reclining device has a fan-shaped recess centered on a hinge portion formed on a tooth plate connected to an arm fixed to a seat back, and a lock mechanism has teeth on an arc-shaped inner peripheral surface of the recess. A tooth member having a tooth portion formed therein and engaging with the tooth portion is disposed so as to be able to advance and retreat toward the tooth portion by engaging with a guide portion formed on the base plate, and operating the tooth member. Both teeth are engaged and disengaged by moving the lever forward and backward.

The internal toothed seat reclining device locks and unlocks the tooth member by moving forward and backward toward the tooth portion of the tooth plate through a small gap formed between the tooth member and the guide portion. .

However, when the tooth portions of the tooth member and the tooth plate are in mesh with each other, that is, when the seat reclining device is in a locked state, when a load such as a seated person is applied to the seat back, the tooth member is moved to the guide portion of the base plate. Because of the small gap that is pinched, rattling in the back and forth direction may occur in the seat back, causing the occupant to feel uncomfortable or to feel that the internal toothed seat reclining device is of poor quality. The occurrence of the above-mentioned gap is inevitable because the tooth plate and the tooth member vary within a certain range due to press working or heat treatment performed thereafter.

Therefore, the present invention provides a structure for solving the above-mentioned disadvantages of the internal-tooth-type seat reclining device.

According to the present invention, according to claim 1, a tooth plate fixed to a seat back is rotatably mounted on a base plate fixed to a seat cushion via a center shaft, and a fan-shaped recess is formed in the tooth plate. A tooth member formed on the arc-shaped inner peripheral surface of the concave portion and having a tooth portion engaged with the tooth portion is sandwiched and engaged with a guide portion having parallel guide grooves formed on the base plate. The tooth member is arranged so as to be able to advance and retreat in the radial direction toward the tooth portion, and the tooth member is advanced and retracted by an operation lever to engage and disengage both tooth portions. Has a side portion parallel to the guide portion, and at least one of the guide portions protrudes from at least a guide groove at an end portion on a side where the tooth portion meshes with a guide groove surface of another portion. Close portion in contact with the side of the tooth member Te is a backlash prevention structure for an automobile seat reclining apparatus characterized by being formed by moving the meat of the guide portion.

Therefore, the tooth member is provided with a tooth through a guide portion formed at least at a guide groove at an end portion on the side where the tooth portion meshes with the guide groove, which protrudes from the surface of the guide groove of another portion and is in contact with a side portion of the tooth member. It is sandwiched so closely that it can advance and retreat toward the teeth of the plate, so even if a load is applied to the seat back, the gap in the rotation direction around the center shaft is kept to a minimum, so the seat The backlash is also reduced.

According to the present invention, a slight movement of the tooth member in the guide portion at the time of locking of the internal-tooth-type seat reclining device is prevented so that the backlash of the seat back is eliminated, so that the seat can be seated without discomfort. Thus, an effect is obtained that a high quality automobile seat device can be obtained.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIGS. 1 to 3 show an internal-tooth-type seat reclining device. The first embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is slightly different from the second embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, but is basically the same. is there.

A tooth plate 3 is rotatably mounted on a base plate 1 fixed to a seat cushion (not shown) via a center shaft 2. An arm 5 is connected to the tooth plate 3 via a connection hole 4, and the arm 5 is fixed to a side surface of the seat back 46. Note that the tooth plate 3 may be directly fixed to the side surface of the seat back 4b without using the arm 5. An arc portion 1a having a predetermined radius centered on the center shaft 2 is formed on an upper side of a base plate 1 fixed to a seat cushion (not shown).

On the side of the tooth plate 3 facing the base plate 1, a fan-shaped recess 6 having a predetermined radius centering on the center shaft 2 is formed by embossing or the like, and a tooth portion 7 is formed on the arc-shaped inner peripheral wall of the recess 6. It is formed by press molding. At the upper end of the tooth plate 3, a plate-like body 9 connected by pins 8 inserted into the connection holes 4 is fixed, and the plate-like body 9 slidably contacts an arc portion 1a of the base plate 1 as a pressing member. And the tooth plate 3 are pressed so as not to be separated from each other.

That is, the plate-like body 9 is formed with an arc-shaped stepped portion 9a that is in sliding contact with the arced portion 1a within a predetermined range. The plate-like body 9 is fixed to the tooth plate 3 by a pin 80 penetrating the connection hole 9c and the connection hole 4a of the tooth plate 3, and the pin 8 is connected to the connection hole 4 and the connection hole 5a of the arm 5 and the plate-like body. 9 are passed through the connection holes 9b and fastened together. As shown in FIG. 2, instead of the plate-like body 9, as shown in FIG. The base plate and the tooth plate may be separated from each other so as to be in sliding contact with the two separated points of the one arc portion 1a.

A tooth member 11 having an arc-shaped upper edge formed with a tooth portion 10 meshing with the tooth portion 7 is slidably housed in a concave portion 1b formed in the base plate 1 and sandwiched between the base plate 1 and the tooth plate 3. The base plate 1 is formed with parallel guide portions 13 having guide grooves 12 for slidingly guiding the tooth member 11 in the radial direction. The tooth member 11 has side portions 14, 14 parallel to the guide portions 13, 13 and arm portions 15 projecting obliquely in a direction crossing the side portions 14, 14.

A cam member 19 for sandwiching and sliding the tooth member 11 between the guide portions 13 and 13 is sandwiched between the base plate 1 and the tooth plate 3 and pivotally supported by the center shaft 2 so as to be rotatable in the recess 6 and the base plate 1. It is housed in the recess 1b. The cam member 19 slides the tooth member 11 downward by contacting the head portion 20 that contacts the lower surface of the tooth member 11 facing the tooth portion 10 and the arm portion 15 when rotated clockwise. An arm 21 is provided for moving the teeth 7 and 10 out of engagement.

The center shaft 2 has a substantially oval cross section at one end 2a, and a shaft portion 2b and a tooth plate 3 that pivotally support the collar 22, the operating lever 23 and the cam member 19 in order toward the other end. It comprises a shaft portion 2c to be fitted and a hook 2d provided at the other end. One end 2a of the center shaft 2 is inserted into the hole 1c provided in the base plate 1 from the side of the concave portion 1b, and is fixed to the base plate 1 by caulking or the like. The inner end of the spiral spring 27 is locked to the other end of the center shaft 2, and the outer end of the spiral spring 27 is locked to a pin 28 projecting from the tooth plate 3 and projecting outward. is there. Therefore, the tooth plate 3 is always urged to rotate forward.

The operation lever 23 forms an embossed portion 33 near the center shaft 2, and a hole 34 for fitting the embossed portion 33 is formed and fitted in the cam member 19, so that the operation lever 23 and the cam member 19 are It can rotate as one. A knob 35 is mounted on a free end of the operation lever 23. One end of a return spring 36 is locked to the operation lever 23, and the other end of the return spring 36 is locked to a pin 37 protruding from the base plate 1. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 2, the other end of the return spring 36 is engaged with a spring seat 44 fixed to the base plate 1.

2 and 3, a projection 39 is integrally formed on the operation lever 23, and a pin 40 is protruded from the projection 39. The pin 40 is formed on the base plate 1 with the center shaft 2 as the center. It fits in the arc-shaped long hole 43 and protrudes to the back side of the base plate 1. A U-shaped interlocking lever 41 for engaging the pin 40 is rotatably supported by a pin 42 protruding from the rear surface of the base plate 1. One end of an interlocking tube 45 is fixed on the rotation axis of the interlocking lever 41 by welding or the like, and the other end is fixed to an interlocking lever of an inner-side seat reclining device (not shown). A left and right interlocking configuration is provided when a symmetric internal toothed seat reclining device is set to be held at both ends.

Here, the structure in which the tooth member 11 is sandwiched between the guide portions 13 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. The gap 5 between the tooth member 11 and the guide portions 13 is preferably small. However, as described above, there may be a variation within a certain range due to press working or heat treatment. In order to avoid this, it is desirable that the gap S between the tooth member 11 and the guide portions 13, 13 is as small as possible on the end side of the stroke of the tooth member 11, in which the tooth portions 7, 10 are engaged. For this purpose, the base plate 1 and the tooth member 11 are paired, and their relative positions are set so as to correspond to the positions where the teeth 7 and 10 mesh with each other. The meat is moved to the gap S side by striking with a punch or the like at the position facing the opposite surface to form striking portions 47 and 48. The flat shape of the hitting portions 47 and 48 is not limited to a circular shape as shown in FIG. 4 and may be a rectangle or an oval.

Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, whether the flesh of the hitting portions 47 and 48 of the guide portions 13 and 13 of the base plate 1 moves until it comes into contact with the side portion 14 of the tooth member 11 and the gap S at that portion disappears. , Are extremely small, and the close contact portions 49 and 50 are formed. Although the tapping portions 47 and 48 are provided at one location on each of the guide portions 13 and 13, they are formed at only one of the guide portions 13 and 13 or at one or more locations on each of the guide portions 13 and 13. May be.

Next, the operation of the internal toothed seat reclining device will be described. When the operation lever 23 is rotated clockwise about the center shaft 2 against the force of the return spring 36, both the cam members 19 rotate clockwise. Then, the head 20 comes off the lower surface of the tooth member 11, and the arm 21 abuts against the arm 15 from above to slide the tooth member 11 in the direction of the center shaft 2 to engage the teeth 7, 10. Cancel. The tooth member 11 moves while being sandwiched between the guide portions 13, 13 having portions 49, 50 that are in close contact with the gap S.

Therefore, the seat back 46 is rotated in the forward falling direction by the force of the spiral spring 27. Then, when the seat back 46 is pushed rearward to determine its inclination angle and the operation lever 23 is released, the operation lever 23 returns to the original position by the force of the return spring 36 and the cam member 19 rotates counterclockwise. The arm portion 21 moves away from the arm portion 15 of the tooth member 11, and the head 20 of the cam member 19 abuts against the lower side of the tooth member 11 and slides the same upward. 10 and 7 are engaged to be in a locked state.

Thus, in the locked state where the tooth member 11 and the tooth portions 10 and 7 of the tooth plate 3 are engaged with each other, even when a high load is applied to the seat back, the tooth member 11 is in close contact with the guide portions 13 and 13 of the base plate. Since the seat back 46 is held in a state in which the seat back 46 cannot be moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body by any contact with the seats 49 and 50, there is no backlash of the seat back 46 at the time of locking, and the quality can be improved.

The above-mentioned play can be corrected for a specific pair of the base plate 1 and the tooth member 11 in the assembly line of the seat reclining device, so that high accuracy can be obtained. Further, it is also possible to use a dummy having the same size as the tooth member instead of the tooth member 11 at the time of correcting the above-mentioned play.

In the internal-tooth-type seat reclining device which is arranged so as to be able to advance and retreat and engages and disengages both teeth by operating the tooth member with an operation lever, the tooth member has a side portion parallel to the guide portion. At least one of the guide portions has at least one end guide groove on the side where the tooth portion meshes, and protrudes from the guide groove surface of the other portion and contacts a side portion of the tooth member. Shaking prevention structure for an automobile seat reclining apparatus characterized by contact portion is formed by moving the meat of the guide portion.
