BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a remote maintenance device that efficiently and effectively maintains a terminal connected to a network. And soRemote maintenance processing program used to realize remote maintenance equipmentAnd its programThe present invention relates to a recording medium for a remote maintenance processing program in which a program is recorded.
[0002]
Terminals connected to networks are becoming widespread. Against this background, the construction of technology for efficiently maintaining terminals connected to the network is screamed.
[0003]
[Prior art]
When a customer purchases a terminal connected to the network, the customer installs the necessary hardware on the terminal and installs the necessary software on the terminal, thereby starting the terminal and performing the desired operation. Data processing will be executed.
[0004]
Conventionally, the manufacturer's side is not informed of the configuration information of the terminal constructed in this way, and the maintenance worker on the manufacturer's side obtains the configuration information from the customer by telephone when a failure occurs. According to this, the necessary preparations are made and the customer goes to the customer's place to perform maintenance of the faulty terminal.
[0005]
Thus, conventionally, the maintenance worker uses a method of searching for the cause of the failure only from the configuration information of the terminal when the failure occurs.
[0006]
Conventionally, when a customer wishes to install new software due to an upgrade of the software version, the customer browses a list of software provided by the manufacturer and downloads software from among them. By selecting, a method of downloading and installing new software is used.
[0007]
When the maintenance worker determines that new software needs to be installed in order to restore the failed terminal, the maintenance worker browses and downloads the software list provided by the manufacturer. A method of downloading and installing new software by selecting software is used.
[0008]
At this time, conventionally, a method is used in which newly downloaded software is immediately made executable.
[0009]
Furthermore, conventionally, a method is used in which the amount of work required for maintenance is grasped from the work report of the maintenance worker, and based on this, the skill of each maintenance worker and the level of each service company are evaluated.
[0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, there is a problem that accurate configuration information cannot often be obtained if a method is used in which the maintenance worker obtains the configuration information of the faulty terminal by inquiring the customer as in the prior art. In addition, there is a problem that it takes time to respond.
[0011]
If the method of searching for the cause of the failure of the terminal only from the configuration information of the terminal when the failure occurs as in the prior art, there is a problem that the search for the cause of the failure is confused.
[0012]
That is, when a hardware or software failure occurs in a terminal, the cause is often a combination of software or a combination of software and hardware. However, in the prior art, generation management of terminal configuration information is not performed, and from now on, a maintenance worker uses a method of searching for the cause of the failure only from the terminal configuration information at the time of the failure. For this reason, there is a problem that it is difficult to search for the cause of failure.
[0013]
And, as in the prior art, if the method of downloading software manually by customers or maintenance workers is used, there is a problem that software that must be downloaded cannot be quickly downloaded to each terminal. is there.
[0014]
In other words, when a certain software must be downloaded from a certain terminal, the software must be downloaded from another terminal having the same configuration. The software cannot be downloaded unless the maintenance worker performs the download operation.
[0015]
And if the method of making newly downloaded software ready to be executed as in the prior art is used, the newly downloaded software is responded to the request of a customer who wants to make it executable from a certain point in time. There is a problem that it is not possible.
[0016]
Furthermore, as in the conventional technology, the amount of work required for maintenance is grasped from the work report of the maintenance worker, and based on this, the skill of each maintenance worker and the level of each service company are evaluated. However, there is a problem that the evaluation cannot be performed objectively and a large load is imposed on the evaluation.
[0017]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a new remote maintenance technique for efficiently and effectively maintaining a terminal connected to a network.
[0018]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve this object, the remote maintenance device of the present invention maintains (a) a terminal connected to a network. The terminal configuration information and the configuration information ID to be changed by the terminal in accordance with the change of the configuration information are used as acquisition targets.Sent from the terminal when the configuration information at the end is changed,After the changeConfiguration information andAfter the changeConfiguration informationofAn acquisition means for acquiring an ID, and (b) each terminal acquired by the acquisition meansNo structureInformation and configuration informationofStorage means for storing the ID, and (c) resources to be distributed to the terminal and each terminal stored in the storage meansNo structureBased on the configuration information, the terminal to which the resource is distributed is specified, and accordingly,Can be distributed to terminalsresourceIdentification informationGenerating means for generating a correspondence list between the resource and the resource distribution destination terminal, and (d) a terminal described in the correspondence relation list to be distributed to the terminal described in the correspondence relation list. ResourceidentificationinformationAnd the terminal configuration stored in the storage means.(E) In response to the notification from the notification means, when there is a request for distribution of the resource described in the correspondence list from the notification destination terminal, A distribution means for distributing resources, and (f) current configuration information and the configuration information from the notification destination terminal in response to the notification from the notification means.Information IWhen there is a reply with DAnd theBased on configuration informationVs.SquirrelResource identification information to be distributed to the terminal described in theRAnd fix itRemakeResource identification information and the ID of the configuration informationNotify the terminalExecutionAnd (g) deletion means for deleting the correspondence list part related to the resource distribution described in the correspondence list when the resource is distributed by the distribution means.
[0019]
When this configuration is adopted, the configuration information ID sent from the terminal and the storage means are stored.StructureWhen the generation information ID does not match, there may be provided an issuing means for issuing a configuration information transmission instruction to the terminal.
[0028]
In the remote maintenance device of the present invention configured as described above, the acquisition meansThe endWhen the configuration at the end is changed, the configuration information sent from the terminal is acquired and registered in the storage means, or the configuration information sent in response to the transmission instruction issued by the issuing means is acquired. Then, it is registered in the storage means.
[0029]
According to the processing of this acquisition means, the storage means stores the latest configuration information of each terminal.
[0030]
In response to this, the generation unit specifies the terminal to which the resource is to be distributed from the resource to be distributed to the terminal and the configuration information stored in the storage unit, and accordingly the distribution target to the terminal A list of correspondences between the resources to be distributed and the distribution destination terminals of the resources is generated.
[0031]
Upon receiving this correspondence list, the distribution means notifies the corresponding part of the correspondence list to the terminals described in the correspondence list, and in response to this notification, a distribution request for resources is received from the terminal. At some point, the resource is distributed by distributing the requested resource to the terminal. It is attached.
[0032]
Thus, in the remote maintenance device of the present invention, when a new distribution target resource is generated, the resource distribution destination terminal is specified based on the configuration information of the terminal, and the resource is allocated to each terminal accordingly. Therefore, it is possible to quickly distribute resources that must be distributed to each terminal.
Considering that there is a possibility that the configuration information of the terminal acquired by the remote maintenance device of the present invention and the current configuration information of the terminal may not match when this configuration is adopted. When the remote maintenance device of the invention acquires the configuration information from the terminal, the remote maintenance device also acquires the ID of the configuration information so that the terminal described in the correspondence list When notifying the information of the resource to be distributed to the terminal, the configuration information ID that is the generation source of the correspondence list portion is also notified.
Upon receiving this notification, if the notified configuration information ID matches the current configuration information ID, the notification destination terminal provides the resources described in the correspondence list to the remote maintenance device of the present invention. Therefore, when receiving the distribution request, the remote maintenance apparatus of the present invention distributes the resource of the distribution request to the notification destination terminal.
On the other hand, in response to this notification, if the notified configuration information ID does not match the current configuration information ID, the notification destination terminal sends the current configuration information and its configuration information to the remote maintenance device of the present invention. Since the ID of the configuration information is returned, the remote maintenance device of the present invention, upon receiving the response, recreates and notifies the correspondence list portion related to the notification destination terminal based on the returned configuration information. Thus, necessary resources are distributed to the notification destination terminal.
