【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来のものでは、側面カバーの上面等を直接ビスで荷受台側にねじ込んで当該側面カバーを固定しているため、これらビスで固定した部分に負荷が集中的にかかることになる。これにより側面カバーのこの部分で割れや変形を招き、荷受台からの脱落を招く場合もあるという問題があった。特に、側面カバーの上面に、荷受台上での台車や荷物等の脱落を防止するために突起状のストッパを設けている場合、このストッパに台車や荷物が当接すると、その際の衝撃がビスの部分に集中的にかかるため、側面カバーのこの部分での割れや変形をさらに招きやすいという問題があった。

請求項1に係る発明の荷受台昇降装置における荷受台の側面カバーは、荷台と地上との間で荷受台が昇降自在に設けられるとともに、該荷受台の両側部に側面カバーが設けられた荷受台昇降装置において、前記側面カバーの上面には、上面凹部がその長手方向に亘って形成され、当該上面凹部には長尺状の取付板が配置され、この取付板ととともに固定手段により側面カバーの上面と荷受台の側部とが固定されてなるものである。

以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照して説明する。
