Claims (2)
- ガラス長繊維を成形した後、ニードルパンチングで高密度化してなるガラス繊維マット2に、ケイ酸バインダ10〜30%と、フッ素系コーティング剤1〜10%と、強化剤としての熱可塑性樹脂1〜10%と、水50〜88%とを体積比で混合してなるバインダを浸透させ、成型ローラ4に巻き取った後、加圧ローラ6で加圧しつつ高速回転させて加圧成型を行い、この後、乾燥及び脱型を行い、
このように得られた未加工パイプカバー本体に、表面加工、中心軸に沿った切り開き、及び軸方向両端部での切断を行うことによって、所望の長さを持つ、両分したパイプカバー本体8を得、この際に、半径方向に向かい合った両切断部のうちいずれか一方を完全に切断せず一定部分を残して軸方向に沿った切り開きを行った後に軸方向両端部での切断を施し、
一方では、中心軸に沿った切断面のいずれか一方を始点とし、アルミニウムホイルを、前記パイプカバー本体の外周面を取り囲むように接着することを特徴とする断熱用パイプカバーの製造方法。 - パイプカバー本体は、中心軸に沿って両分する切断面が、角張るか屈曲するように凹凸をなしており、軸方向両端部の切断面が、施工時に互いに噛み合う嵌合面をなしていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の断熱用パイプカバーの製造方法。
