Description
Claims (26)
- 下記を具備する、遠隔通信装置において、マルチパス誤差の補正のためのシステム:
遠隔通信信号を検出することができ、その結果として検出された電気信号を発生することができるアンテナ;
前記アンテナに接続され、前記検出された電気信号を受信する受信器;
前記受信された信号を解析し、前記受信された信号が記憶された基準信号と一致するとき相関パルスを発生するエネルギー検出器、前記相関パルスは、複数の係数を有する二次方程式としてモデル化され、前記係数は所定の時刻に前記相関パルスの振幅値により決定される;
前記相関パルスの到着時刻を決定するためのタイマ;
前記モデル化された相関パルスのパルス幅を計算し、前記パルス幅に基づいて補正因子を前記到着時刻に適用する解析器。 - 前記解析器は前記到着時刻を遅延時間に変換し、前記補正因子は前記遅延時間に適用された時間遅延補正因子である請求項1のシステム。
- 前記解析器は到着時刻を距離測定に変換し、前記補正因子は前記距離測定に適用された距離遅延補正因子である、請求項1のシステム。
- 前記解析器は到着時刻を距離測定に変換し、前記補正因子は前記距離測定に適用された距離遅延補正因子である、請求項1のシステム。
- パルス幅を補正因子に関連づけるための数学関数を記憶するためのデータ構造をさらに具備し、前記解析器は前記パルス幅および前記数学関数を用いて前記補正因子を計算する、請求項1のシステム。
- 下記を具備する、遠隔通信位置決定システムにおいてマルチパス誤差の補正のためのシステム:
受信器から未知の距離に位置する遠隔送信器から送信されたデータを受信するための受信器;および
前記受信されたデータに関連するデータを解析し、前記受信器の位置に関連する位置データを発生する解析器であって、前記解析器はさらに測定された信号基準に基づいて補正因子を計算し、補正された位置データを発生する解析器とを備え;
前記受信されたデータが記憶されたデータパターンに相関しているとき、前記受信器は相関パルスを発生し、前記信号基準は、前記相関パルスのパルス幅であり;
前記解析器は、前記相関パルスを複数の係数を有する二次方程式としてモデル化し、前記係数は、所定の時刻における前記相関パルスの振幅値により決定される。 - 前記補正された位置データおよび前記遠隔送信器の周知の位置に基づいて前記受信器の位置を決定するための位置決定エンティティをさらに具備する、請求項6のシステム。
- 前記位置データは、前記受信器により受信されたデータの到着時刻に基づく、請求項6のシステム。
- 前記到着時刻は遅延時間として計算され、前記補正因子は時間遅延補正である、請求項8のシステム。
- 前記信号解析器は前記モデル化された相関パルスの最大振幅を計算し、最大振幅以下の所定のレベルで前記パルス幅を測定する、請求項6のシステム。
- 前記受信器は信号強度表示を発生し、前記信号基準は信号強度表示である、請求項6のシステム。
- 前記受信器は、800MHz帯域で動作する携帯電話の一部であり、前記解析器は、前記800MHz帯域において、前記遠隔送信器から送信されたデータの到着時刻に基づいて前記位置データを計算する、請求項6のシステム。
- 前記受信器は、1900MHz帯域で動作するパーソナル通信システム電話の一部であり、前記解析器は、1900MHz帯域において、前記遠隔送信器から送信されたデータの到着時刻に基づいて前記位置データを計算する、請求項6のシステム。
- 前記遠隔送信器は全地球測位システム(GPS)衛星であり、前記受信器は前記GPS衛生から前記データ信号を受信し、前記解析器は、前記GPS衛星から送信されたデータの到着時刻に基づいて前記位置データを計算する、請求項6のシステム。
- 前記受信器は、符号分割多重アクセス(CDMA)電話の一部であり、前記解析器は、前記800MHz帯域において、前記遠隔送信器から送信されたデータの到着時刻に基づいて、前記位置データを計算する、請求項6のシステム。
- 信号基準を補正因子に関連づけるためのデータを記憶するデータ構造をさらに具備し、前記解析器は、前記データ構造への入力として前記選択された基準の尺度を供給し、前記選択された基準の尺度に関連して記憶された補正因子を検索する、請求項6のシステム。
- 信号基準を補正因子に関連づける数学関数を記憶するためのデータ構造をさらに具備し、前記解析器は、前記選択された基準および前記数学関数を用いて前記補正因子を計算する、請求項6のシステム。
- 下記を具備する、遠隔通信装置位置決定システムにおいてマルチパス誤差の補正のための方法:
受信器からの未知の距離に位置する遠隔送信器から送信されたデータを受信するための受信器を用いる;
前記受信されたデータに関連するデータを解析し、前記受信器の位置に関連する位置データを発生する、相関パルスを発生することと、複数の係数を有する二次方程式として前記相関パルスをモデル化することであって、前記係数は所定の時刻における前記振幅値により決定されることとを含むことと、;および
パルス幅を含む測定された信号基準に基づいて補正因子を計算し、補正された位置データを発生する。 - 前記補正された位置データおよび前記遠隔送信器の周知の位置に基づいて前記受信器の前記位置を計算することをさらに具備する、請求項18の方法。
- 前記位置データは前記受信されたデータの到着時刻に基づく、請求項18の方法。
- 前記受信されたデータが記憶されたデータパターンに相関されるとき、相関パルスを発生することをさらに具備し、前記信号基準は、前記相関パルスのパルス幅である、請求項18の方法。
- 前記モデル化された相関パルスの最大値を計算し、最大振幅以下の所定のレベルで前記パルス幅を測定することをさらに具備する、請求項18の方法。
- 信号強度表示を発生することをさらに具備し、前記信号基準は信号強度表示である、請求項18の方法。
- 前記遠隔送信器は全地球測位システム(GPS)衛星であり、前記受信器はGPS衛星からのデータ信号を受信し、前記位置データを計算することは、前記GPS衛星から送信されたデータの到着時刻に基づく、請求項18の方法。
- 信号基準を補正因子に関連づけるデータをあらかじめ記憶することをさらに具備し、前記補正因子を計算することは、前記選択された基準に関連して記憶された前記補正因子を検索することを具備する、請求項18の方法。
- 信号基準を補正因子に関連づける数学関数を記憶することをさらに具備し、前記補正因子を計算することは前記選択された基準および前記数学関数を使用する、請求項18の方法。
