Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a bathroom joint material, and more particularly to a bathroom joint material suitable for closing a gap between a bathtub and a bathroom inner wall in a bathroom or a bathroom unit.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a method for closing a gap between a bathtub and a bathroom inner wall in a bathroom or a bathroom unit, a method of closing a gap between the bathtub and the bathroom inner wall using a caulking material such as a silicon material is conventionally known.
[0003]
However, this method is troublesome in construction, requires a curing period after filling, has molds, etc., and becomes dark and dirty, so recently it has been molded and processed using synthetic resin as a material. Joint materials have also been proposed (see Patent Document 1).
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-291642
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the joint material is difficult to work because it is difficult to insert the joint material into the gap between the bathtub and the inner wall of the bathroom because the hanging part of the joint material is not straight but the lower part is inclined toward the bathtub. In addition, the length of the hanging portion of the joint material is perfectly matched to the flange length of the bathtub upper edge, and the engaging portion provided at the tip of the hanging portion is hooked to the lower end of the bathtub upper edge flange portion. There is a difficulty that can only be accommodated in (one type) bathtub.
One object of the present invention is to provide a joint material that can be easily inserted into a gap between a bathtub and a bathroom inner wall and is easy to work with. Another object of the present invention is to provide a joint material that can be used not only for a predetermined type of bathtub but also for other types of bathtubs for treating the gap between the bathtub and the inner wall of the bathroom. is there.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has the following configuration.
That is, the present invention comprises a top portion made of a soft resin that is substantially horizontally elongated and a base portion made of a hard resin having a substantially vertical flat surface that hangs down from a central portion in the width direction of the top portion or a portion biased to one side of the central portion. It is a long joint material having a substantially T-shaped cross section, which is an integral structure for closing the gap between the bathtub and the inner wall of the bathroom. Striped irregularities are provided along the longitudinal direction, and soft resin upward fins are respectively provided along the longitudinal direction on both sides of the base below the horizontal striped irregularities. This is a joint material in which a hard resin engaging portion is extended at the tip.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As the hard resin, thermoplastic resins such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and hard polyvinyl chloride resin can be used. As the soft resin, soft polyvinyl chloride resin, polyolefin elastomer (TPO) and the like can be used. A thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer can be used. Among them, the combination of the hard resin being PP and the soft resin being TPO is preferable because it is environmentally friendly and does not cause annoying noise even when the joint material and the wall are rubbed.
A joint material is manufactured by cutting and processing the extruded product (simultaneous molding) of the resin of the above material as necessary.

In addition, at the corner portion where the long side joint material and the short side joint material abut, an L-shaped corner cap (not shown) in a plan view can be inserted, and the gap portion can be filled with good appearance to stop water. Without using a corner cap, one top portion (made of soft resin) in which the long side joint material and the short side joint material overlap each other can be stacked on the other top portion to stop water.
In addition, on the near side of the bathtub (washing side), if a joint material (not shown) whose end is rounded to match the curved shape of the upper edge of the bathtub is used (the washing side) ) Can also stop the water well.

【The invention's effect】
The joint material according to the present invention can be used not only for a bathtub in which an appropriate portion hooked to the engaging portion of the lower end portion of the base portion is present on the bathtub (upper flange portion) side, but also to be hooked on the engaging portion of the lower end portion of the base portion. It can be used for the clearance treatment between the bathtub and the inner wall of the bathroom even for other shapes of bathtubs that do not have appropriate sites.
Moreover, since all the joint materials according to the present invention are dry, they can be used immediately when necessary. In addition, since the top portion is not recessed (like silicon caulking material), it is difficult for water to accumulate, it is difficult to get dirty, and even if it gets dirty, it is easy to wipe off. Even if you are not skilled in the work, you can easily handle the gap and the design is high. In addition, the color of the top is easy to change according to the color of the bathtub.
