Abstract

A door mat comprises a body of textile material or the like (1) and a generally tray-shaped base (3) made of moulded thermoplastic material, within which the textile body (1) is inserted in a removable way. The perimetral rim (4) of the tray-shaped base (3) has an elastically deformable retention lip (8) projecting above the peripheral rim of the textile body, and the bottom wall (5) of the tray-shaped base (3) incorporates co-moulded inserts (6) having anti-slip surfaces (7) emerging on the surface to prevent any undesirable sliding or curling of the textile body (1) with respect to the tray-shaped base (3)

Il presente trovato si riferisce in generale agli zerbini, particolarmente del tipo comprendente un corpo di materiale tessile o simile idoneo per la pulizia della suola di scarpe, ed una base generalmente a forma di vaschetta entro la quale tale corpo tessile è inserito in modo amovibile. The present invention relates in general to doormats, particularly of the type comprising a body of textile material or the like suitable for cleaning the sole of shoes, and a base generally in the shape of a tray into which said textile body is inserted in a removable way.

Zerbini di questo tipo sono noti, ad esempio, dai brevetti statunitensi US-3,083,393 e US-4,361,925 (corrispondente al brevetto italiano IT-1135152). Nel caso del secondo documento la base è di materiale termoplastico stampato, tipicamente di un polimero elastomerico, e fra la faccia dorsale del corpo tessile e la parete dì fondo della base a vaschetta sono previsti elementi di ancoraggio temporaneo del tipo a microganci ("velcro®"). Lo scopo del presente trovato è quello di ovviare al suddetto inconveniente, e più in particolare di realizzare uno zerbino del tipo definito all'inizio nel quale, nell'uso, eventuali scorrimenti ed arricciamenti del corpo tessile relativamente alla base a vaschetta siano efficacemente impediti senza il ricorso a formazioni di reciproco collegamento a microganci o analoghi sistemi meccanici. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Doormat, comprising a body of textile or similar material (1) suitable for cleaning shoe soles, and a base (3) of molded thermoplastic material generally in the shape of a tray, within which said textile body (1) is inserted in a removable way, characterized in that the perimeter edge (4) of the tray-shaped base (3) has an elastically deformable retaining lip (8) engaged above the peripheral edge of the textile body (1).

2. Doormat according to claim 1, characterized in that the bottom wall (5) of said tray base (3) incorporates inserts (6) co-molded within said base (3) and having non-slip surfaces (7) emerging on said bottom wall (5) of the tray base (3).

3. Doormat according to claim 2, characterized in that said anti-slip surfaces are defined by raised formations (7) of said inserts (6).

4. Doormat according to claim 3, characterized in that said raised formations (7) include protrusions in the form of pegs

5. Doormat according to claim 4, characterized in that said peg-shaped protrusions (7) are partly rounded and partly tapered or pointed.

6. Doormat according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said inserts (6) have a circular shape.

7. Doormat according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said inserts (6) are arranged according to two triplets.

8. Doormat according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said tray-like base (3) has an anti-slip back surface with coverage areas (6) of said inserts (6).

9. Doormat according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said textile body (1) has an anti-slip substrate (2).

10. Doormat according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said elastically deformable retaining lip (8) protrudes towards the inside of said tray-like base (3) and has a substantially hook-shaped cross section.

11. Doormat substantially as described and illustrated for the specified purposes.
