この発明は、前面の開口から内部に収納物を収納可能とする箱本体と、その箱本体の開口を開閉可能とする扉とより構成され、扉の開閉方向を左右変更できるとともに、扉に形成された把持片の位置を上下左右に変更可能とする収納箱に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来より、例えばキャビネットのように、前面に正面正方形状の開口を有し、その開口から内部に収納物を収納可能とする有底四角箱状をなす箱本体と、その箱本体の開口を開閉可能とする正面正方形状の扉とよりなる収納箱が知られている。この収納箱は、扉の左開き又は右開きを可能とするため、箱本体の開口を形成する左右両側壁の開口端部に軸挿通部を取付可能に形成されている。一方、扉の左右側辺部の裏面には前記軸挿通部と連結可能な軸受け部が形成され、さらに、扉の前面の右側辺中央部には扉の開閉動作を容易とするための把持片が形成されている。

上記の目的を達成するために、請求項1に記載の発明の収納箱は、正面正方形状の開口を前面に有する有底四角箱状をなす箱本体と、前記箱本体の開口を開閉可能とすべく同箱本体の開口側端部に取り付けられる正面正方形状をなす扉とより構成し、前記箱本体の開口側の左側辺部及び右側辺部に第1連結部を配置可能に設けるとともに、扉の隣接する側辺部に、前記第1連結部と連結可能な第2連結部を配置可能に設け、扉を周方向へ回転して所定位置で第2連結部を第1連結部に連結することにより、箱本体に取り付けられた扉の特定の一側辺部の位置を上下左右に変更可能に構成するとともに、扉の開き方向を左又は右へ変更可能に構成したことを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を家庭用の小物入れとして使用される収納箱に具体化した一実施形態を図面に従って説明する。なお、本実施形態における上下左右は図1の上下左右と対応し、図1で扉13が取り付けられた面側を前側とし、その対向する面側を後側とする。

図1に示すように、収納箱11は有底四角箱状をなす箱本体12と、前記箱本体12の開口を開閉可能とすべく同箱本体12の開口側端部に取り付けられる正面正方形状をなす扉13とより構成されている。

まず、箱本体12について説明すると、図2及び図3に示すように、箱本体12は平面正方形状の底壁14と、その底壁14の三側周縁部から上方へ立設された左側辺部としての左側壁15a、右側辺部としての右側壁15b及び後側壁15cと、それら各側壁15a〜15cの上端部に形成された天板15dとより構成されている。そして、底壁14、左右両側壁15a,15b及び天板15dの前端部により、箱本体12の前面に正面正方形状の開口が形成されている。
