Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a branch line fitting that enables accurate detection of heat generation at a connecting portion due to energization when a branch line is connected to a main line.
[0002]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When connecting a branch line to the main line, it depends on the method of inserting and crimping both lines into the connection fitting, but this part tends to generate heat when energized, and there is no end to the accident of fusing. For this reason, a bar material made of a shape memory alloy is prepared as a sensor, and the bar material is applied in parallel to this portion and is fastened with a band. It is intended to detect abnormal heat generation by visually observing the displacement of the sensor protrusion due to temperature variation.
However, the surface of the connection fitting is exposed to wind and rain, and does not necessarily accurately reflect internal heat generation. It is an uncertain means to predict the occurrence of an accident.
[0003]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The test piece of the connection fitting was heated by energization, the temperature was measured with a thermocouple thermometer and an infrared temperature image analyzer, and the temperature distribution when the high heat part reached 70 ° C. is shown in FIG. In the figure, the temperature is represented by the shading of the pattern.
According to this, even if the inside of the main branch line is high temperature, the surface layer is low temperature. Further, the branch line extending side is hot, and in particular, the branch line is hotter than the main line. It has been found that it is effective to insert the sensor at least near the middle between the bottom of the main line holding bifurcated portion and the branch line and also to the branch line extending side.
Based on this understanding, a sensor hole is drilled at a corresponding portion of the connection fitting, and the sensor tip is inserted and crimped from the branch line extension side.
[0004]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The drawings will be described. This metal fitting comprises a main body 1, a sleeve 2 and a sensor 3. The main body is provided with a bifurcated portion capable of inserting and holding the main line M from the side, and an insertion hole for the branch line B is formed in the base portion, but the sensor 3 is located near the middle of the two wires M and B in the base portion. Through-insertion holes are provided. The sleeve 2 can be slidably inserted into the bifurcated portion in the shape of a chopstick box. The sensor 3 is a rod-shaped body made of a shape memory alloy, and is inserted at a predetermined depth from the branch line extending side, and the exposed portion is bent in a fixed direction as the temperature rises. The insertion angle phase is adjusted so that the bending is in a direction that is easy to detect when looking up from the ground.
Each of the above members is integrated with the main line M and the branch line B by pressure bonding. FIG. 3 is a perspective view in that case. In the sensor 3 in the figure, the chain line shows a state before energization, and the solid line shows a state where the treatment temperature has been reached due to energization and deformed.
[0005]
【The invention's effect】
Since the insertion portion of the sensor 3 is close to the maximum temperature portion of the metal fitting, the sensor warning is made highly reliable by selecting a sensor that operates at a predetermined temperature.
