本発明は、溶接用セラミックエンドタブに関し、より詳しくは溶接母材の厚さに対応できる目印が設けられている溶接用セラミックエンドタブに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、二つの溶接母材10,11 を図に示すように互いに接するように突き合わせ、裏当材を用いることなく図に示すように溶接溝16の両端に溶接用エンドタブ1iを図示してない保持具で固定し、溶接する方法が知られている。しかし、上記溶接方法に使用する従来の溶接用エンドタブ1iは、溶接母材10,11の厚さに対応できる目印が設けられていないため、位置合わせをするのが困難であった。ところが、上記溶接法による溶接が少なかったこともあり、上記溶接法に適した溶接用エンドタブは開発されていなかった。

また、最近地震などで大きな荷重がかかった場合にも柱12と梁13の溶接部に亀裂が発生しないように、図に示すように梁13のフランジ14の両側の上下にサイドプレート15を接合する方法が開発された。この工法においては、フランジ14とサイドプレート15を突き合わせ、裏当材を用いることなく溶接用セラミックエンドタブを固定して溶接することになるが、そのために用いる溶接用セラミックエンドタブとして、位置合わせが容易な溶接用セラミックエンドタブがなく、位置合わせが容易な溶接用セラミックエンドタブの開発が要望されていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、裏当材を用いないで溶接する場合などでも、位置合わせが容易な溶接用セラミックエンドタブを提供することを課題とするものである。

上記課題を解決するために、本発明の溶接用セラミックエンドタブにおいては、一方の溶接母材に接する面4と開先が設けられている他方の溶接母材に接する面5とを有し、開先が設けられている他方の溶接母材に接する面5側から一段低くした溶融金属受部3が上下の2か所に設けられており、かつ溶接母材の厚さに対応できる目印2b,2c,2bm,2cm が設けられられているものとすることである。

さらに、上記課題を解決するために、本発明の溶接用セラミックエンドタブにおいては、上記溶接用セラミックエンドタブが左右および表裏が同一もしくは類似または鏡面対称形になっているものとすることである。
また、上記課題を解決するために、本発明の溶接用セラミックエンドタブにおいては、上記溶接用セラミックエンドタブが左右および表裏が同一もしくは類似または鏡面対称形であり、かつ上下が逆になっているものとすることである。
また、上記課題を解決するために、本発明の溶接用セラミックエンドタブにおいては、一方の溶接母材に接する面4と開先が設けられている他方の溶接母材に接する面5とのなす角度θが鈍角になるようにするものである。
また、上記課題を解決するために、溶接母材の厚さに対応できる目印2b,2c,2bm,2cm が設けられている溶接用セラミックエンドタブの用途を、鉄骨の柱に溶接する梁にサイドプレートを溶接するためのものとすることである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の構成および作用を図面を参照して説明する。

本発明は、溶接母材の厚さに対応できる目印2b, 2c,2bm, 2cm が設けられている溶接用セラミックエンドタブであるが、該目印2b, 2c,2bm, 2cm は、図に示すように使用状態において外側から見える位置の片側あるいは図などに示すように両側に設けられているものであり、両側に設ける場合には異なる位置に設けてもよいし、同じような位置に設けてもよい。
また、その目印は、スリット(図9の 2a,2am 参照 ) 図1に示すような溝2b,2bm、図2に示すような突起2c,2cm、あるいは図示されていないが印刷などで描いた線などである。

次に、本発明の溶接用セラミックエンドタブの使用方法の一例を図を参照して説明する。
