Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a repair method in the case where a damaged portion is generated in a multicolored pattern coating film that imparts a cosmetic appearance to the surface of an object.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, paint finishing has been performed for the protection of buildings such as buildings and civil engineering structures, imparting design properties, and improving aesthetics. Among them, what is called a multicolor pattern paint is a paint in which particles of different colors are mixed, and forms a coating film in which each particle is intricately interlaced during spray coating. Such multicolored paints have been popular several times in the past, but in recent years, each particle is made large and the hue of each particle is selected to make the multicolored pattern look like a natural stone pattern. What has been adjusted to is attracting attention.
[0003]
On the other hand, the appearance of such a multi-pattern pattern is also different if the coating film is damaged, peeled off or dropped due to external force such as impact or friction applied to the coating film. Or the difference in the design feeling from the peeling / dropping-out part is conspicuous, and the aesthetic appearance may be impaired.
[0004]
In the past, such defective portions or peeling / dropping portions were repaired by applying a colorful pattern paint again.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such repair painting, it is necessary to adjust the color to the same hue as that of the multicolored paint used when forming the existing coating film. In order to apply the multicolored paint to a part of such a small area, It was very inconvenient to cause such trouble. In addition, it takes time for curing and time for drying, and it is difficult for a person who is not skilled in painting to paint with an existing coating film without feeling uncomfortable.
[0006]
Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a repair method that can be easily applied to the defective portion or the peeling / dropping portion of the multicolored paint film, even if it is not an expert in painting the multicolored paint. is there.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of intensive research for the purpose of solving such problems, the inventors of the present invention formed a patch film using the corresponding multicolored paint when the existing multicolored paint was applied in advance. I thought that the repair method could be done easily.
[0008]
That is, the present invention includes the following (1) to (4).
(1) In the damaged part of the multicolored paint film coated with the clear topcoat layer , (a) the base (background color) layer, (b) the same composition as the paint film Multicolor layer, characterized in that the paste by (c) adhesive thickness formed from clear overcoat layer is the same composition as the clear topcoat layer of an existing multicolor coating a patch film of 50~500μ Multi-pattern paint film repair method.
(2) A patch film is formed by sequentially laminating a base layer coating composition, a multi-pattern coating composition, and a clear top coating composition on a peelable surface, drying and curing, and then peeling off. The multicolored pattern coating film repair method according to (1), characterized in that it exists.
(3) The patch film is a peelable film obtained by laminating a clear overcoat layer coating composition, a multicolor pattern paint composition, and a base layer paint composition in order, followed by drying and curing. The multi-pattern coating film repairing method according to (1), wherein the surface of the base layer is attached to the damaged portion of the base material so that the surface of the base layer adheres, and then only the peelable film is peeled off.
(4) The multi-pattern coating film repairing method according to any one of (1) to (3), wherein an elongation percentage of the patch film is 5 to 50%.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The multicolored paint in the present invention is a paint composition that forms a multicolored paint film, and particularly a paint that forms a multicolored paint film by a single application. Such a paint is defined, for example, in JIS K 5667-1983 as having a structure in which liquid or gel particles of two or more colors are suspended. The idea for the composition of such a paint is described in P.A. Starting with the BUSCH patent, C. It is represented by oil-in-water type multicolored paints that have been put into practical use by ZOLA as US Pat. No. 2,591,904 and Japanese Patent No. 231,698. Since then, various paints of various patterns have been developed by paint engineers in Japan and overseas, all of which are attributed to the following classifications.
[0010]
(1) Oil-in-water type (hereinafter referred to as O / W type)
A type in which a disperse phase, which is a colored organic solvent-based paint, is dispersed as a discontinuous phase in a water-soluble dispersion medium so that it can be identified.
(2) Water-in-oil type (hereinafter referred to as W / O type)
A type in which the dispersion medium is oily, and an aqueous dispersion phase colored to this is dispersed as a discontinuous phase.
(3) Oil-in-oil type (hereinafter referred to as O / O type)
This type uses an oil-based dispersion medium and an organic solvent-based enamel that disperses a discolored sol-like substance that is incompatible with the dispersion medium.
(4) Underwater type (hereinafter referred to as W / W type)
A type in which an aqueous colored gel material is dispersed in a discontinuous phase in an aqueous dispersion medium.
[0011]
The O / W type of (1) is J.W. C. ZOLA is a representative example. In addition, for example, as Japanese Patent Publication No. 42-24752, a metal soap such as aluminum stearate or aluminum 2-ethylhexoate is added to a water-insoluble organic solvent, oil, or plasticizer. In addition, it is swollen and added to the enamel, lacquer, varnish, or paint with a coating material that has a film-forming ability to which a water repellent such as silicone resin is added, and then heated and stirred to further promote swelling and gelation. There has been mentioned a method for producing a stable and colorful paint characterized by forming a water-insoluble gel-like coating material and dispersing it in a colored water-based paint containing a coating film-forming material.
[0012]
As the W / O type (2), for example, as Japanese Patent Publication No. 35-16241, a film-forming material comprising methylcellulose, a coloring material, water, etc. in an organic solvent solution of a film-forming material such as an alkyd resin varnish. There are various color paints in which an aqueous solution or an aqueous dispersion is dispersed with a particle size that can be identified with the naked eye.
[0013]
As the O / O type of (3), for example, as disclosed in Japanese Examined Patent Publication No. 51-31250, a base material in which a mixture of an epoxy resin, a pigment and an organic solvent is adjusted to a specific viscosity is used as a non-phase for a fiber derivative and an epoxy resin Various design pattern coating methods in which a color base prepared by dissolving a soluble synthetic resin in an organic solvent and colored with a pigment is added at a ratio of about 1 part are mentioned.
[0014]
As the W / W type (4), as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 51-7035, a colored aqueous paint containing a water-soluble resin as a vehicle component is used as a dispersed phase, and the surface of the dispersed phase particles is gelled with a polyaminocarboxylic acid derivative. Water-based colorful pattern paints in water dispersion are mentioned.
[0015]
The present invention applies such a multicolored paint to a known peelable surface, preserves a patch film formed by peeling after drying, cuts according to the area of the repair site, and an adhesive. By sticking using, the appearance that the repaired surface and the existing coating film are integrated with no sense of incongruity is obtained. At this time, the patch film is cut and pasted slightly larger than the size of the repair surface.
[0016]
The adhesive used here can be used regardless of the solvent-based water-based type, but must contain a solvent that does not dissolve either the patch film or the existing coating film. In particular, in existing coatings, a primer is often applied between the multicolored coating and the surface to be coated. Therefore, if a solvent that dissolves the primer is included, the solvent that does not dissolve the multicolored coating Even so, the primer coating film may be dissolved, and the multi-pattern coating film may crawl and float up.
[0017]
Therefore, as an adhesive, vinyl acetate resin emulsion adhesive, vinyl acetate resin solvent adhesive, acrylic / vinyl acetate copolymer resin, vinyl copolymer resin system mainly composed of ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer resin Emulsion adhesive, vinyl copolymer resin solvent adhesive, acrylic resin emulsion adhesive, rubber latex adhesive, epoxy resin adhesive, silicone-modified acrylic resin containing hydrolyzable silyl groups Among adhesives, acrylic / fluorine-based adhesives, etc., those containing a solvent that does not cause dissolution or lifting phenomenon as described above are selected and used.
[0018]
In particular, when the clear overcoat layer is applied to an existing multicolored paint film, when the paint with the same composition as the clear topcoat layer is used as an adhesive, the overlapping area between the existing paint film and the patch film Since the same composition is laminated, the adhesion is relatively good.
[0019]
Further, these adhesives may be applied in advance to the surface in contact with the repair surface of the patch film and cured. Furthermore, when long-term adhesiveness can be maintained, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer may be provided instead of the adhesive.
[0020]
The patch film can be used as it is if it can be formed only with the multicolored paint itself as described above, but if the film cannot be formed with only the multicolored paint, it is a laminate of multiple coating films. May be used.
[0021]
In general, a multicolored paint has a relatively long distance between colored particles that form a multicolored color, so that the surface to be coated is partially visible between the particles. In order to improve such a state, a base layer which is a background color is applied in advance, and a multi-color paint as a multi-color pattern layer, and a clear paint as a clear overcoat layer for protection may be applied in layers. is there.
[0022]
A laminate of such a base layer, a multicolored pattern layer, and a clear overcoat layer may be used as a patch film. In particular, such a patch film is desirable because it does not give a sense of incongruity with an existing coating film. The clear overcoat layer is appropriately selected depending on the presence or absence of the clear overcoat layer of the existing coating film.
[0023]
At this time, the base layer is not particularly limited as long as it is a coating film having the same color as the base color of the surface to be coated. As the multicolor pattern layer, the multicolor paint described above can be used. As the clear topcoat layer, urethane-based, acrylic / fluorine-based, silicone-modified acrylic solvent-type clear topcoats, highly weatherable aqueous clear topcoats, and the like can also be used.
[0024]
Such a laminated type patch film is also formed by laminating and coating a peelable surface in the same manner as a normal patch film, and peeling after drying.
[0025]
In addition, the laminated type patch film may be a known strippable film, a multicolor pattern paint composition, a base layer paint composition, or a clear topcoat paint composition, a multicolor pattern layer paint composition, a base layer paint composition. It is also possible to prepare by sequentially painting and drying and curing. In this case, the surface of the base layer is attached to the repair surface so that the surface of the base layer adheres, and then only the peelable film is peeled off.
[0026]
The film for patches needs to have a thickness of 50 to 500 μm. When the thickness is thicker than this, the protrusion from the existing coating film is increased, and the patch film surface and the existing coating film are visually recognized with a sense of incongruity. On the other hand, if the thickness is thinner than this, it becomes difficult to perform a cutting process as a patch film, and the characteristics as a simple repair method are lost.
[0027]
The patch film is not necessarily required to have a large stretchability, but must have a stretchability that can be cut as a film. The degree of stretchability is desirably in the range of 5 to 50% in terms of elongation.
[0028]
【Example】
Example 1
“Hybrid tone base” (manufactured by SK Kaken Co., Ltd., colorful pattern paint primer, hue: HT-2) was applied to a polyethylene film having a thickness of 20 μm with a spray gun at a required amount of 150 g / m 2 and dried and cured. . Next, on the surface of the formed coating film, “Hybrid Tone” (various pattern paint manufactured by SK Kaken Co., Ltd., Hue: HT-2) is applied in a required amount of 450 g with “Hybrid Tone Gun” (spray gun dedicated to various pattern paints). It was applied at / m2 and dried. Furthermore, “Lilycatite Clear M” (solvent type acrylic silicon clear top coat manufactured by SK Kaken Co., Ltd.) is applied as a top coat to the coating surface with a spray gun at a required amount of 200 g / m 2 for drying curing. I let you. The laminated coating film thus coated was dried and cured indoors for 3 days, and then the laminated coating film was peeled off from the polyethylene film to form a patch film. At this time, the formed film had a thickness of 180 μm and an elongation of 10%.
On the other hand, a test plate was prepared by laminating and coating the above-mentioned “Hybrid Tone Base”, “Hybrid Tone”, and “Lilycatite Clear M” on a 1 m × 1 m × 10 cm ALC plate that had been subjected to ground preparation in advance. About 1.5cm scratches were intentionally made on the coating film, and the above patch film was cut slightly larger than the size of the scratches on the scratched part, and a silicone-modified acrylic resin was used as an adhesive. I attached.
The repair coating film thus formed was cured for about one day, and the appearance was visually observed. The previously scratched portion was completely covered with a patch film, The film was almost incongruent with other places, and there was almost no repair mark left.

(Example 2)
Mix the main component and curing agent of “Urethane Top” (manufactured by SK Kaken Co., Ltd., solvent-type two-component reaction curing type polyurethane resin-based clear top coat) into a polyethylene film with a thickness of 100 μm while diluting with urethane thinner. It was applied at a required amount of 350 g / m 2 and dried. Next, “hybrid tone” (hue: HT-22) was applied to the surface of the formed coating film with a “hybrid tone gun” at a required amount of 450 g / m 2 and dried and cured. Furthermore, “hybrid tone base” (hue: HT-22) was applied to the surface of the coating film with a spray gun at a required amount of 200 g / m 2 and dried and cured. The laminated coating film thus coated was dried and cured indoors for 3 days to form a patch film. The thickness of the film formed at this time when the thickness of the polyethylene film was subtracted was 250 μm, and the elongation was 15%.
On the other hand, a test plate is prepared by previously laminating the above-mentioned “hybrid tone base”, “hybrid tone”, and “urethane top” on a flexible board having a size of 500 × 500 × 3 mm. The above-mentioned patch film was cut to be slightly larger than the size of the scratch, and a silicon-modified acrylic resin was used as an adhesive and attached to the scratched portion. Further, after the adhesive was dried, the polyethylene film on the surface of the patch film was peeled off.
The repair coating film thus formed was cured for about one day, and the appearance was visually observed. The previously scratched portion was completely covered with the patch film, The film was almost incongruent with other places, and there was almost no repair mark left.

(Comparative Example 1)
A “hybrid tone base” (hue: HL-532) was applied to a polyethylene film having a thickness of 20 μm with a spray gun at a required amount of 450 g / m 2 and dried and cured. Next, "Hybrid Tone LL" (Hue: HL-532) is applied to the surface of the formed coating film with a "Hybrid Tone Gun" (spray gun dedicated to multicolored paint) at a required amount of 800g / m2 for drying curing. did. Furthermore, “Lilycatite Clear M” was applied to the surface of the coating film as a top coat with a spray gun at a required amount of 300 g / m 2 and dried and cured. The laminated coating film thus coated was dried and cured indoors for 3 days, and then the laminated coating film was peeled off from the polyethylene film to form a patch film. At this time, the formed film had a thickness of 600 μm and an elongation of 15%.
On the other hand, a test board was prepared by previously laminating the above-mentioned “hybrid tone base”, “hybrid tone”, and “liricatite clear M” on a flexible board having a size of 500 × 500 × 3 mm. A scratch of 5 cm was intentionally created, and the patch film was cut slightly larger than the size of the scratch on the scratched portion, and a silicon-modified acrylic resin was used as an adhesive.
The repair coating film thus formed was cured for about one day, and the appearance was visually observed. The previously damaged portion was completely covered with the patch film. The film part was lifted from other places and felt very uncomfortable.

【The invention's effect】
In the present invention, the multicolored paint, which is characterized by the design beauty of the coating film, forms a multicolored coating film. In contrast to a strong sense of discomfort, by preparing a patch film for repair in advance using the paint to be applied when applying the coating film, the film is cut slightly larger than the repair site. , It can be repaired simply by sticking with an adhesive, so that it is not necessary to prepare a multicolored pattern paint with the same hue as the existing paint film or to apply a skillful multicolored pattern paint for repair. There is an advantage of being good.
