Description

The present invention relates to a packaging container for packaging an electronic device and protecting it from an impact, and more particularly to a packaging box suitable for packaging a relatively thin and lightweight electronic device.

Conventionally, in an electronic device packaging box made of corrugated paper, the electronic device is supported by a cushioning material made of foamed resin such as expanded polystyrene disposed in the corner, thereby protecting the device from impact during transportation. . Such a cushioning material made of foamed resin has environmental problems when discarded after use. Therefore, a packaging box has been proposed that solves the above-described problems by forming a buffer portion for protecting the electronic device from impact with a material (corrugated paper) equivalent to the packaging box body (for example, Patent Document 1).

Further, a packaging box is known in which a tongue piece for forming a hand-holding hole on the side surface of the packaging box is brought into contact with the cushioning material without any gap (see, for example, Patent Document 2). Further, a packaging box is known which is constituted by an inner box and an outer box, and which connects the inner box and the outer box by engaging a cut and raised piece for forming a hand-holding hole on a side surface (for example, a patent Reference 3).

However, in the packaging box shown in Patent Document 1, it is necessary to create a buffer portion made of corrugated paper separately from the packaging box body, and therefore the cost of the packaging box cannot be reduced. In addition, in order to facilitate the carrying of the packaging box, when a hand hole is provided on the side, dust or insects may enter the box from the hand hole and reduce the commercial value of the electronic device. is there.

Moreover, in the packaging box shown by patent document 2, 3, since it does not have a function which buffers the impact added to an electronic device in the main body of a packaging box, the cushioning material formed with the expanded polystyrene is separately provided. This increases the cost of the packaging box and cannot avoid the environmental problems described above.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide a packaging box for an electronic device that is low in cost and environmentally friendly with no risk of dust or the like entering the box.

The part of the side surface that forms the recess faces the upper reinforcing plate. The side plate is formed at a position facing the lower reinforcing plate in order to form a hand hole for placing a hand on the packaging box. The lower reinforcing plate has an insertion hole through which the bent hand hook is inserted at a position corresponding to the bent hand hook. The bent portion is bent inward with the lower end in the vicinity of the tip of the bent portion as a fulcrum, and has a bent contact portion that comes into contact with the bent handle portion, and the concave portion of the lower buffer portion is inserted through the insertion hole. An electronic device packaging box according to the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows the appearance of the packaging box, FIG. 2 shows a cross section around the short side surface of the packaging box, and FIG. 3 shows a development view before the packaging box is assembled. In the developed view, a solid line indicates a cut line cut by the cutter, a broken line indicates a folding reference line for folding the corrugated cardboard, and hatching indicates an area cut by the cutter.

The packing box 1 accommodates a relatively thin and light electronic device 2 such as a DVD (Digital Versatile Disk) player, and is a buffer unit integrated type formed by folding corrugated paper to protect it from impacts and the like. It is a carton box. The packaging box 1 includes a pair of long side plate 3 and short side plate 4 that form four side surfaces, and a pair of outer bottom flaps 5 that are connected to the lower side of the long side plate 3 and form the bottom surface of the packaging box 1. And a pair of inner bottom flaps 6 that are connected to the lower side of the short side plate 4 and bent inside the outer bottom flap 5, and are connected to the upper side of the long side plate 3 to form the top surface of the packaging box 1. A pair of outer top flaps 7 and a pair of inner top flaps 8 connected to the upper side of the short side plate 4 and bent inside the outer top flap 7 are formed.

As shown in FIG. 2A, the inner bottom flap 6 is bent a plurality of times from the lower side of the short side plate 4 to the tip of the flap, thereby forming a cylindrical lower buffer portion 10 having a substantially square cross section. To do. Similarly, the inner ceiling flap 8 is bent a plurality of times from the upper side of the short side plate 4 to the tip of the flap, thereby forming a cylindrical upper buffer portion 11 having a substantially square cross section. As shown in FIG. 2B, the center portions of the side surfaces of the lower buffer portion 10 and the upper buffer portion 11 are bent into the inside of the cylinder to be recessed and configured to fit and support the electronic device 2. Form. As shown in FIG. 2 (c), an opening 33 is formed in the concave portion 12 of the lower buffer portion 10 so that a bent handle 18 that will be described later faces from the inside of the packaging box 1.

The lower buffer portion 10 has a lower reinforcing plate 14 for reinforcing the lower portion of the short side plate 4 at the tip. The lower reinforcing plate 14 is in surface contact with the lower portion of the short side plate 4 and reinforces the same portion by dispersing a load applied to the short side plate 4. Similarly, the upper buffer portion 11 has an upper reinforcing plate 15 that is in surface contact with the upper portion of the short side plate 4 at its tip and reinforces the upper portion of the short side plate 4. The lower buffer portion 10 and the upper buffer portion 11 are in surface contact with each other at the central portions 27 and 28 in the height direction of the packaging box 1 and distribute the load in the vertical direction. Further, the short side plate 4 is reinforced from the lower side to the upper side by the lower side reinforcing plate 14 and the upper side reinforcing plate 15.

The upper buffer part 11 has a projecting part 16 projecting from the side surface forming the recess 13 toward the upper reinforcing plate 15, and the tip of the projecting part 16 contacts the side surface of the upper reinforcing plate 15. Has been.

In the position facing the lower reinforcing plate 14 of the short side plate 4, a bend that is the upper edge of the handle hole 17 is formed in order to form a handle hole 17 for holding the packaging box 1 during transport. A folding handle 18 that is bent inward with the reference line 30 as a fulcrum is provided. On the other hand, an insertion hole 19 into which the bent folding hook 18 is inserted and fitted is formed at a position corresponding to the folding hook 18 in the lower reinforcing plate 14. Then, a bent contact portion 20 that is lightly bent inward from the lower end edge of the insertion hole 19 with the bending reference line 31 as a fulcrum and that contacts the side surface of the bent handle portion 18 is formed. The bent hand hook 18 and the insertion hole 19 have a flat (that is, short in the vertical direction) rectangular shape so that an operator can hang a plurality of fingertips during transport. On the other hand, since the lower buffer plate 10 tries to move back and the lower reinforcing plate 14 tries to move upward, the bent buffer portion 18 and the insertion hole 19 are fitted. There is a risk of being solved. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the tip of the bent contact portion 20 is brought into contact with the side surface of the bent handle 18 from the outside of the packaging box 1 so that the lower reinforcing plate 14 does not move upward. .

As shown in FIGS. 1B and 2C, the bent hand hook 18 is fitted into the insertion hole 19, and the tip of the bent contact portion 20 is a side surface of the bent hand hook 18. When the electronic device 2 is accommodated in the packaging box 1, the lower buffer portion 10 is maintained in a folded state. Further, both end abutting portions 23 and 24 (see FIGS. 3 and 4) positioned at both ends of the recesses 12 and 13 are bent so as to be substantially parallel to the side surface of the electronic device, whereby the side surface of the electronic device 2 is obtained. It is possible to contact the surface of the electronic device 2 to prevent the electronic device 2 from being damaged.

Next, the packing operation of the electronic device 2 using the packing box 1 will be described with reference to FIGS. First, as shown in FIG. 4A, the lower buffer portion 10 is formed by bending the inner bottom flap 6 a plurality of times along the bending reference line 21 (see FIG. 3). At this time, the concave portion 12 can be formed on the side surface of the lower buffer portion 10 by bending the bending reference line 22 in the opposite direction. Then, by pushing the folding handle 18 into the insertion hole 19 positioned on the inner side, the tip of the folding handle 18 gets over the folding contact portion 20 and is inside the folding contact portion 20. Be positioned. Thereafter, the bent handle 18 is lightly pressed toward the outside of the packaging box 1 from the opening 33, so that the tip of the bent contact portion 20 comes into contact with the side surface of the bent handle 18 without any gaps. The side reinforcing plate 14 is fixed, and the lower buffer portion 10 is maintained in a bent state.

Thereafter, by bending the two outer bottom flaps 5 in the direction of arrow D and fixing both, the electronic device 2 can be accommodated as shown in FIG. 4B. The electronic device 2 is accommodated in the direction of arrow E, and the concave portion 12 and the both-end contact portion 23 come into contact with the electronic device 2 to fit and support the electronic device 2. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 4C, the upper cushioning portion 11 is formed by bending the inner top flap 8 along the bending reference lines 25 and 26 in the same manner as the inner bottom flap 6 to form the upper cushioning portion 11. When the portion 11 is pressed in the direction of the arrow F and inserted into the gap between the electronic device 2 and the short side plate 4, the state shown in FIG. Then, if the two outer flaps 7 are folded inward and fixed with a tape or the like, the packaging of the electronic device 2 is completed.

As described above, according to the packaging box 1 of the present embodiment, the lower buffer portion 10 and the upper buffer portion 11 are formed by the inner bottom flap 6 and the inner top flap 8, and thus the electronic device 2 is protected from impact. Therefore, it is not necessary to use a cushioning material such as foamed polystyrene, the packaging box 1 can be manufactured at a low cost, and environmental problems do not occur. Further, since the lower reinforcing plate 14 is fixed and the lower cushioning portion 10 is bent when the bent contact portion 20 contacts the bent handle portion 18, the electronic device 2 can be accommodated. Can be done easily.

Further, the folding contact portion 18 is lightly pressed toward the outside of the packaging box 1 through the opening 33 provided in the concave portion 12 of the lower buffer portion 10 and then inserted into the insertion hole 19. Since the insertion hole 19 can be blocked by making the contact 20 and the bent handle portion 18 contact each other without any gap, there is no possibility that dust or insects may enter through the insertion hole 19 and reduce the commercial value of the electronic device 2. Further, the lower cushioning portion 10 and the upper cushioning portion 11 are in surface contact at the approximate center in the height direction of the packaging box 1, and the side plate 4 is reinforced from the lower side to the upper side by the lower side reinforcing plate 14 and the upper side reinforcing plate 15. Therefore, the strength of the side plate 4 can be increased. In addition, despite having the lower buffer portion 10 and the upper buffer portion 11, it is possible to form a packing box from a substantially rectangular developed shape as shown in FIG. When mass-producing the packaging box 1, it is possible to reduce the cost of the packaging box 1 by eliminating useless cuts. Furthermore, since the tip of the projecting portion 16 projecting from the recess 13 of the upper buffer portion 11 is in contact with the upper reinforcing plate 15, the load applied in the direction substantially orthogonal to the short side plate 4 can be dispersed. The strength of the short side plate 4 can be further increased.

The present invention is not limited to the configuration of the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made. For example, in the packaging box 1, the depth L (see FIG. 3) of the outer bottom flap 5 and the inner bottom flap 6 is substantially the same, but a plurality of packaging boxes 1 are mass-produced from one cardboard paper. However, the dimension L can be appropriately set according to the specifications of the packaging box 1 and the electronic device 2. Further, the inner bottom flap 6 and the inner top flap 8 that form the lower buffer portion 10 and the upper buffer portion 11 may be connected to the long side plate 3. In this case, the outer bottom flap 5 and the outer top flap 7 may be provided so as to be connected to the lower side and the upper side of the short side plate 4.
