従来より、搬送ラインにより搬送される物品に無線タグを取り付け、ループアンテナにより、無線タグの情報を読み取り、或いは書き込むようにしたタグ情報管理装置が知られる。このループアンテナ1は図4に示すように、搬送ライン2に対してループ面が直交するように設けられて、このループアンテナ1を潜るように搬送される物品4に付された無線タグ4の情報を読み取り、或いは無線タグ4に情報を書き込む(交信を行う)。このようなループアンテナ1によれば、搬送ラインの搬送方向に向く磁界が発生され、このループ面に対し、無線タグ4の面(即ちタグに設けられるタグ用ループアンテナのループ面)が平行となるように(4aの状態で)物品が搬送される場合は、高い信頼性で無線タグと交信を行うことができる。

図1は本発明の実施の形態におけるタグ情報管理装置の全体構成を示す図、図2は動作を示す図である。
