本発明は、円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置、特に円形沈殿池の水面位置のスカムスクレーパ及び池内底部に吊垂支持した汚泥 掻寄用フライトの周回運動にて生じる水流による水面に浮遊するスカムの連れ回りを防止してスカムスクレーパにて確実に収集して排除するようにした円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、円形沈殿池において池底に沈殿する汚泥、汚砂等の固形分と、水面に浮遊するスカムとを分離して除去するものとして図1に示すような円形沈殿池に水面位置に駆動装置にて回動するアームを配設し、このアームにスカムスクレーパを取り付け、スクレーパより吊垂索条を介して池底部に汚泥掻寄用フライトを吊垂支持し、スクレーパと汚泥掻寄用フライトをともに池内で旋回移動して行っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来の円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの除去装置には、水面位置にあるアームに支持したスカムスクレーパを旋回させるとこれに吊垂支持した池底の汚泥掻寄用フライトも同方向に旋回運動を行う。この場合、汚泥掻き寄せ速度で定まるアームの回転速度が遅く、したがつてスカムスクレーパを同速度で回転しても円形沈殿池内に一定方向の水流が発生し、この水流に乗って浮遊スカムも連れ回って旋回し、スカムスクレーパで掻き寄せることができない、という問題点があった。
本発明は、上記従来の円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置の有する問題点を解決し、スカムスクレーパを取り付けたアームの回転を動力源としてスクノレーパの動きと反対方向の水流が発生する方向に回転するパドルを設けて、これによりスカムをより積極的にスクレーパにて収集排除することができる円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため、本発明の円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置は、駆動装置より回動するよう円形沈殿池に設けたスカムスクレーパと、このスクレーパより吊垂しスカムスクレーパと共に旋回する汚泥掻寄用フライトと、スカムスクレーパの取付用アームに支持し、このアームの回動を動力源としスカムスクレーパにより生じる水流方向と反対方向の水流が生じるように回動するパドルとより構成し、水面に浮遊するスカムをスカムスクレーパによる連れ回りを防止して収集するようにしたことを特徴とする。

上記の構成からなる本発明の円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置は、アームに吊垂したスカムスクレーパ及び池底部の汚泥掻寄用フライトの旋回にて水面に浮遊するスカム、池底に沈殿した沈殿を掻き寄せ排出する場合、このスカムスクレーパにて発生する水流にて浮遊スカムの連れ回りが生じるようになるが、水面位置に配したパドルを取り付けたパドル軸がスカムスクレーパの回動にて回動し、このパドルの回転にて生じるスカムスクレーパの進行方向と反対方向の水流にて浮遊スカムの連れ回りが阻止できるので、浮遊スカムの掻き寄せ排出が確実に行えるものとなる。

この場合において、スカムスクレーパ、パドルを、スカムスクレーパの回動にてスカムが収集されるとき、スカムが円形沈殿池の外周方向に流れる方向に角度をつけることができる。

上記の構成からなる本発明の円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置は、スカムスクレーパ及びパドルをともにスカムが外周方向に流れる方向に角度をつけているので、スクレーパ、パドルの回転によって浮遊スカムは自然に円形沈殿池の外周方向にあるスカム排出トラフへ流れてスカムの排出が容易に行えるものとなる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図において1は、所要の形と容量とを有する円形沈殿池で、この円形沈殿池1の底部中央には汚泥ピット2を配置し、池底に沈降する汚泥を汚泥掻寄用フライトの回動にて汚泥ピット内へ収集し池外へ排出できるようにする。

また、この円形沈殿池1の上部には架台3を配設し、この架台3にモータ及び減速機からなる駆動装置4を設けてこの駆動装置の旋回軸5に取り付けたアーム6を水平を保持しつつ予め定めた速度にて旋回運動を行うようにすると共に、アームの下面には取付具7を介してほぼ水面位置にスカムスクレーパ8を吊垂支持する。そしてこのアームが円滑に円形沈殿池上端部にて正確に旋回するようアーム先端下部にブラケット9を取り付け、このブラケットにアーム支持ホイール11を備え、円形沈殿池内周面にレール取付台22に支持されたレール18にて支持し、これによりアーム6が旋回する際、アーム支持ホイール11が転動して、このホイールに直結したパドル軸を同調して回動するようにする。

ブラケットに回動自在に支持されたパドル軸10は指定の長さを備え、かつこのパドル軸に複数のパドル12、12、12を夫々その取付角・位置を変えて突設すると共に、アームがレールに沿って旋回する際、アーム支持ホイールはレール上で摺転動し、これによりアーム及びスカムスクレーパの旋回方向と反対の流れ方向の水流を発生させて、水面に浮遊するスカムをスカムスクレーパの旋回により生じる水流方向による連れ回りを防止してスカムスクレーパによる収集を確実にする。

スカムスクレーパを備えたアームには複数本の索条13,13を吊垂して索条の下端を汚泥掻寄用フライト14に締結して池底に汚泥掻寄用フライト14を支持すると共に、この汚泥掻寄用フライト14の先端にガイドローラ15を突設し、このガイドドローラを円形沈殿池の内周面に当接させてアームの旋回時、索条を介して汚泥掻寄用フライト14が池底で正確に旋回し池底に沈殿した汚泥を汚泥ピット内に掻き寄せるようにする。

なお、円形沈殿池の中央には汚水供給管16を配設し、この水供給管16の上端に整流給水口筒17を配設して汚水を円形沈殿池内に均一にして池底部に向かう水流となるように供給すると共に、スカム及び汚泥を除去した後の処理水を円形沈殿池の水面位置でその内周面に配設した越流トラフ19より排出する。また、スカムは円形沈殿池内周面に配置したスカムボックス20よりスカムスクレーパにて掻き寄せて排出するものである。21はこのスカムボックスに配した排出管である。

従って上述のごとく構成する円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置において、駆動装置4にてアーム6を旋回駆動すると、これに取り付けたスカムスクレーパ8及び索条13に吊垂支持された汚泥掻寄用フライト14も共に回動する。このスカムスクレーパ8にて水面にスカムスクレーパの進行方向に水流が発生するが、このアームにはアーム旋回にてレール上を転動するアーム支持ホイールに取り付けたパドル軸10も回動する。このパドル軸の回動は、スカムスクレーパの進行方向により生じる水流方向と逆方向の水流が生じるようにパドルが複数個突設しているので、このパドルの回動による水流にてスカムスクレーパにより水流を打ち消すようになり、浮遊するスカムがスカムスクレーパにて容易に収集されるようになる。しかもパドル、スカムスクレーパの角度をスカムを外周方向へ移動させるようにしているので、浮遊スカムは容易にスカムボックス側へ移送され回収排出されるものとなる。

【発明の効果】
本発明の円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置によれば、アームに吊垂したスカムスクレーパ及び池底部の汚泥掻寄用フライトの旋回にて水面に浮遊するスカム、池底に沈殿した沈殿を掻き寄せ排出する場合、このスカムスクレーパにて発生する水流にて浮遊スカムの連れ回りを、水面位置に配したパドルの回転にて生じるスカムスクレーパの進行方向と反対方向の水流にて阻止できるので、浮遊スカムの掻き寄せ排出が確実に行える。

また、本発明の請求項2に記載した円形沈殿池に於けるスカムの効率的除去装置によれば、スカムスクレーパ及びパドルに、スカムが円形沈殿池の外周方向に流れる方向に角度をつけているので、スカムはスカムスクレーパの回動にて確実に円形沈殿池外周面方向に収集され、スカムボックスからの排出が確実に行える。
