In the illustrated example, a large number of rod-shaped members 1 are arranged at predetermined intervals in the axial direction near the boundary between the clarification section and the consolidation section in a concentration tank B in which a scraper A is provided at the bottom so as to be able to rotate around a rotation axis C. A horizontal rotating shaft 2 with an array of The member 1 is used as a rotating brush and is rotated into the sludge layer to apply shear to the sludge, causing structural destruction of the sludge particles and promoting interference settling and consolidation.

The rod-shaped members 1 are installed radially on the horizontal rotating shaft 2, and the length of the rods increases at the center of the tank and gradually decreases toward the outer circumference of the tank at predetermined intervals in the axial direction of the horizontal rotating shaft 2. A large number of rotating brushes are arranged to prevent sludge from carrying over.

The horizontal rotating shaft 2 is mounted on the scraping machine A in a horizontal state via a stand 6 with bearings 3, 3, and is engaged with a fixed gear 5 in the tank or a guide rail by a gear 4 or a solid tie provided at one end. The gear 4 is rotated on the fixed gear 5 in the tank by the rotating movement of the stopper A, and the rod-shaped member 1 is rotated between the sludge consolidation part and the clarification part.

That is, it is convenient to place the horizontal rotating shaft on the scraper arm of scraper A so that it can rotate, and rotate the brush by using the reaction force of the gear from the tank wall. It is also possible to drive the horizontal rotating shaft 2 with a gear mechanism or other transmission member using the rotational drive of the rotating shaft C of It can also be used selectively.

It is preferable to have a configuration in which the horizontal rotating shaft 2 of the brush can be set at the most efficient position by moving it up and down, but in this case, the fixing position of the base 6 of the bearing 3 can be changed by a combination of bolts and elongated holes. Alternatively, the setting position of the rotating brush may be changed by using a pinion rack mechanism, or by using the rotating shaft C of the scraper A as a double axis so that it can slide in the axial direction. good.

The water to be treated that flows into the thickening tank B is purified by precipitating and concentrating the sludge, and the separated water is extracted from the bottom of the water collection groove, and the sludge that has settled at the bottom of the tank is efficiently removed from the sludge pit D by the scraper A. The sludge is discharged, but a rotating brush composed of a rod-shaped member 1 is rotated between the consolidation section and the clarification section of the thickening tank B, and shearing by this rotating brush is applied to the sludge, causing structural destruction of the sludge particles. As a result, interference sedimentation and consolidation can be promoted, and the concentration work can be carried out effectively.

This invention uses gravity sedimentation to form a clarification section at the top and a compaction section for settled sludge at the bottom, and in a thickening tank with a scraper at the bottom, there is a horizontal rotation near the boundary between the clarification section and the compaction section of the thickening tank. By disposing a large number of rod-shaped members attached in the axial direction via the shaft, and by rotatably connecting the horizontal rotating shaft to the scraper, the shearing caused by the rotating brush can be applied to the consolidation part and the clarification part in the thickening tank. It can be added to the sludge between sludge particles to cause structural destruction of the sludge particles, increase interference settling and consolidation, make thickening work more efficient, and greatly reduce the thickening time. Moreover, it does not interfere with sludge collection. It has practical effects suitable for large-scale treatment, such as being able to be used without causing sludge sludge, and allowing concentration treatment to be performed while preventing sludge carryover.
