Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus for a combination braid including a rubber core used for packaging stoppers, hair ornaments, and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a ring formed by cutting a braid with rubber core composed of a rubber core and an outer braid covering the rubber core into strips of a predetermined length, and bonding the strips at both cut end surfaces. Are known. In order to improve aesthetics, a plurality of types of strips cut into a predetermined length from a plurality of types of braids with rubber cores that are color-coded in colors such as red, blue, green, etc. A rubber cored combination braid formed by bonding and a rubber cored braid ring formed by bonding both ends of the rubber core combined braid are known. These rubber cored combination braids and rubber cored braid rings are telescopic and are used to bind hair and decorate the body.
[0003]
The strip bonding operation is a series of steps in which an adhesive is applied to the cut surfaces, the cut surfaces are pressed together, and the adhesive is dried. Each step is performed by a human hand. When forming the rubber cored combination braid and the rubber cored braid ring, the above-mentioned manual operation must be performed as many times as the number of adhesion points, so that one rubber core combined braid or rubber core braid ring is formed. As the number of strips increases, mistakes are likely to occur when bonding in a predetermined order, and the number of operations increases, which takes time and labor.
[0004]
Also, when a long braided braid is cut into strips of a predetermined length, the outer braid of the cut portion will be loosened, making it difficult for the strips to adhere to each other. The adhesive part was absorbed and the bonded portion was raised, resulting in inconveniences such as deteriorating the aesthetics of the formed rubber cored combination braid or rubber cored braid ring and uncomfortable use.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In order to eliminate the inconveniences as described above, the present invention provides a rubber core by adhering a plurality of types of strips cut from a plurality of types of long braided braids in a predetermined order so that the outer braid is not loosened. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method and an apparatus for easily manufacturing a combined braid.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The rubber cored combination braid manufacturing method of the present invention for solving the above problems includes a curing step of curing the outer braid by applying a curing agent to a predetermined cutting location of a plurality of types of long rubber cored braids. A cutting step of cutting the plurality of types of rubber-cored braids at the cutting locations to form the plurality of types of strips having a predetermined length; and arranging the plurality of types of strips in a predetermined order on a line An aligning step, an adhesive applying step of applying an adhesive to one or both of the opposing end surfaces of the plurality of types of strips arranged in the arraying step, and the plurality of types of strips in the axial direction. It is characterized by comprising a bonding step in which the adhesives are pressed against each other and the adhesive is dried.
[0007]
According to the above method, a plurality of strips cut from a plurality of types of rubber core-containing braids are arranged on a single line, and an adhesive is applied to one or both of the end faces facing each other, and are pressed against each other in the axial direction. Further, by drying the adhesive, the plurality of types of strips are combined and connected to produce a combined braid with rubber core. Since a plurality of types of strips are pressed against each other in the axial direction and a plurality of places are bonded at a time, the time and labor can be saved compared to the case where the adhesive is manually applied to each bonded position and pressed.
[0008]
The outer braid is hardened at the cut portion of the rubber core braid by applying a curing agent, and the outer braid is not loosened when the cut portion is cut in the cutting step. For this reason, the plurality of types of strips can be easily bonded in the bonding step and no loosening portion is generated, so that the excess adhesive is not absorbed and the bonded portion does not rise as in the conventional case, and the aesthetics and feeling of use are impaired. Instead, the strips can be bonded together to produce a rubber braided combined braid.
[0009]
Here, when the adhesive is applied to the end surfaces of the strips, the adhesive is not applied to the ends of the strips, and the adhesive is applied to the contact portion between the strips in the reverse order, that is, after the press-contact. think of. In this case, the adhesive must permeate from the surface of the outer braid, but since the hardener is already impregnated in the outer braid at the end face, the applied adhesive is difficult to permeate the corresponding contact portion. For this reason, the contact portion is not sufficiently impregnated with the adhesive, resulting in a disadvantage that the adhesive force is reduced. In the method of the present invention, the adhesive is applied to the end surfaces of the strips, and then the pressure strips are used to bond the strips to each other. Therefore, such inconvenience does not occur and a sufficiently strong adhesive force is obtained. It is done.
[0010]
In the curing step, the plurality of long braided braids are dipped in a curing agent aqueous solution, impregnated in the outer braid braid and dried to cure the outer braid, and in the adhesive application step, water-insoluble It is preferable to use a water-soluble adhesive, and after the bonding step, wash the braided cord with the connecting rubber core and remove the curing agent from the outer braid.
[0011]
According to this method, since the plurality of types of long braided braids are dipped in a curing agent aqueous solution, impregnated in the outer braid braid and dried to cure the entire outer braid braid, The braided braid can be prevented from loosening when the braid is cut at an arbitrary location, and the braided cord with rubber core and the strip are cured as a whole so that they do not stretch or bend unless excessive force is applied. And handling becomes easy.
[0012]
Since the outer braid and the rubber core are bonded by an adhesive at the joint, the inherent stretchability of the braid with the rubber core is lost. If the width of the joint is large, the finished braid with the connected rubber core is used. When you feel uncomfortable. In this method, since the outer braid is already impregnated with the curing agent, the adhesive is not excessively impregnated, and the width of the joint becomes smaller compared to the case where the curing agent is not used. Does not occur. When the braided rubber braided combination braid is washed with water, the adhesive is insoluble in water, so only the curing agent is removed from the outer braid braid. Have sex.
[0013]
In order to carry out the manufacturing method of the rubber cored combination braid, the plurality of types of long rubber cored braids coated with a curing agent at a predetermined location and cured of the outer braid are conveyed in the axial direction, A plurality of conveying paths that are arranged in parallel to each other, each of which has a semi-opening portion that is arranged with a predetermined interval in the opposite direction to the conveying direction at a predetermined interval and that is formed in the radial direction; A hook-shaped alignment path positioned in parallel with the plurality of transport paths on the opening side, and each of the rubber core-containing braids at the tip when the tip of the rubber-cored braid reaches the end of each end A plurality of cutting means for forming a plurality of types of strips by cutting at the predetermined locations in order, and the alignment paths from the half openings provided in the plurality of transport paths. A plurality of guide conveyance paths that convey in the radial direction and the plurality of types of strips. An adhesive application means for applying an adhesive to one or both of the opposing end faces of the plurality of strips when transferred to the road, and the strips coated with the adhesive in the axial direction It is preferable to use an apparatus characterized by comprising pressure contact means for bringing them into pressure contact with each other.
[0014]
Each conveying path carries a plurality of types of long braided rubber core braids, each of which is coated with a curing agent at a predetermined location and the outer braid braid is cured, and conveys them in the axial direction. When the leading end of the braided cord with rubber core reaches the extreme end of the transport path, the cutting means cuts the braided cord with rubber core at the predetermined location to form a strip. Each guide transport path transports the strips in the radial direction from a half opening of each transport path to the alignment path, and the bowl-shaped alignment path receives a plurality of types of strips and arranges them on a line. The adhesive application means applies an adhesive to one or both of the opposing end faces of the strips, and the pressure contact means presses the plurality of types of strips coated with the adhesive in the axial direction thereof.
[0015]
A rubber braided combination braid with high reliability in color arrangement without mistakes in the order of arrangement when adhering a plurality of types of strips by appropriately placing a plurality of kinds of braids with rubber core on the conveyance path Can be manufactured. Further, since a plurality of types of strips are bonded at a time, the time and labor can be saved as compared with the case where the adhesive is manually applied to each bonded portion and pressed.
[0016]
In the apparatus, the alignment path extends from a location where an end surface where the adhesive is applied to the plurality of types of strips to a location where a contact portion is located when the strips are pressed against each other. More preferably, an opening for avoiding adhesion between the strip and the bottom by the adhesive is provided at the bottom. By providing the opening, it is possible to prevent the adhesive applied to the strips from entering between the strips and the bottom of the alignment path and bonding them together. Manufacture can be performed continuously without any delay.

It is explanatory drawing. In the following description, for example, when referring to what is distinguished from 1a, 1b, 1c, for example, the attached alphabetic character is abbreviated to be simply represented by the numeral 1.
[0018]
A combination braid 1a with a rubber core obtained by the manufacturing method of the present embodiment is obtained by bonding the cut surfaces of three pieces 2a to 2c cut to a predetermined length as shown in FIG. And are formed on the string. Further, the braided ring 1b with a rubber core is formed in an annular shape by bonding both ends of the braided string 1a with a connected rubber core as shown in FIG. 1 (b). Each of the strips 2a to 2c includes a rubber core 4 of rubber thread and an outer braid 5 thereof. The rubber core 4 and its outer braiding braid 5 are telescopic, so that the rubber core-containing combination braid 1a and the rubber core braiding ring 1b are telescopic.
[0019]
Next, the manufacturing method of the rubber cored combination braid 1a shown in FIG. 1 will be described. As shown in FIG. 2, the manufacturing method of the present embodiment includes six steps including a curing step, a cutting step, an alignment step, an adhesive application step, an adhesion step, and a cleaning step. In the curing step, a plurality of types of long braided rubber braids are immersed in an aqueous curing agent solution and dried to cure the outer braid. In the cutting step, the cured braided braid is cut into strips of a predetermined length. In the arranging step, a plurality of types of the strips are arranged on a line in a predetermined order. In the adhesive application step, a water-insoluble adhesive is applied to both of the opposing end surfaces of the plurality of types of strips arranged. In the bonding step, a plurality of types of strips coated with a water-insoluble adhesive are pressed in the axial direction, and the water-insoluble adhesive is dried to form a combined braid with rubber core. In the cleaning step, the formed combination braid with rubber core is washed with water to remove the curing agent from the outer braid.
[0020]
The curing process will be described with reference to FIG. As shown in FIG. 3, a long rubber-cored braid 6 is accommodated in a bowl-shaped container 7, and the entire bowl-shaped container 7 is immersed in a curing agent aqueous solution 9 accommodated in a curing agent tank 8. The curing agent needs to have water solubility again after curing, and in this embodiment, a 3% aqueous solution of high-purity polyvinyl alcohol was used as the curing agent aqueous solution 9.
[0021]
The outer braid 5 is impregnated with the aqueous curing agent solution 9 by immersing the long braided braid 6 in the aqueous curing agent solution 9 to several tens of minutes. The long rubber core braid 6 impregnated with the curing agent aqueous solution 9 is pulled up, and the rubber core braid 6 is dried. In order for the rubber cored braid 6 to be uniformly dried, it is preferable that the rubber cored braids 6 and 6 or the rubber cored braid 6 do not come into contact with other objects during drying. Therefore, the braid 6 with a rubber core is dried using a drying device as shown in FIG. The drying device includes a hollow cylindrical drying cylinder 10 provided vertically above the curing agent tank 8, a guide roll 11 provided facing the upper opening 10 a of the drying cylinder 10, and a side of the guide roll 11. And a pair of pull-up rolls 12 a and 12 b provided on the bottom and a sponge 13 provided facing the lower opening 10 b of the drying cylinder 10. The drying cylinder 10 is configured to allow hot air supplied from a hot air generator (not shown) to flow and dry when the braid 6 with a rubber core pulled up from the aqueous curing agent solution 9 passes through the hollow portion. Further, the sponge 13 is provided with a through-hole 13a through which the rubber cored braid 6 is passed and the rubber cored braid 6 is squeezed to remove the excess curing agent aqueous solution 9.
[0022]
According to the drying apparatus, the braided braid 6 withdrawn from the curing agent aqueous solution 9 is guided from the lower opening 10b of the drying cylinder 10 to the upper opening 10a through the through hole 13a of the sponge 13, and is further guided by the guide roll. 11 is sandwiched between the pulling rolls 12a and 12b. When the pulling rolls 12a and 12b are driven by a driving means (not shown), the braid 6 with rubber core is moved in the direction of the arrow.
[0023]
At this time, the braided cord 6 with rubber core is first squeezed by the through-hole 13 a to remove the excess aqueous solution of the curing agent 9, and then flows into the hollow portion of the drying cylinder 10 while passing through the drying cylinder 10. Dried with hot air. The braided braid 6 is uniformly dried because the braided braids 6 and 6 are not in contact with each other or other objects in the drying cylinder 10. The braid 6 with the rubber core thus dried has the outer braid 5 cured by the curing agent over the entire length thereof.
[0024]
Next, the cutting process, the arranging process, the adhesive application process, and the bonding process will be described with reference to FIG. These steps are performed using the apparatus 14 schematically shown in FIG.
[0025]
In the cutting process, three types of long braided braids 6a to 6c cured by the above method are indicated through three parallel conveying paths 15a to 15c of the apparatus 14 as shown in FIG. 4 (a). When the leading ends of the braided cords with rubber cores reach the partition plates 16a to 16c, which are the end portions of the respective conveying paths as shown in FIG. 4B, the braided cords with rubber cores are cut by cutting means (not shown). Cut at predetermined locations 17a to 17c.
[0026]
As shown in FIG. 4C, the strips 2a to 2c cut from the braided cords 6a to 6c with rubber cores in the arranging step are transported in the direction indicated by the arrows through the guide transport paths 18a to 18c, as shown in FIG. ) As shown, it is transferred and aligned on the alignment path 19. In the adhesive application step, as shown in FIG. 4E, a water-insoluble adhesive is applied to both end faces 22 facing each other by an adhesive application means (not shown). In the bonding step, as shown in FIG. 4 (f), the piston 20 moves in the direction of the arrow to press one end of the strips 2a to 2c coated with the water-insoluble adhesive, and the pressing plate 21 presses the other end. Thus, the strips are brought into pressure contact with each other, and the water-insoluble adhesive is dried. Through the above steps, a rubber cored combination braid 1a made of three types of rubber cored braids is formed.
[0027]
The water-insoluble adhesive was used in the adhesive coating process because the adhesive melted in water and flowed when the rubber cored combination braid was washed in the cleaning process described later, and the bonded part of the rubber cored combination braid 1a. This is to prevent the adhesive strength of the resin from being lowered and scattered. In this embodiment, “Aron Alpha” (manufactured by Toa Gosei Chemical Co., Ltd.) was used as the water-insoluble adhesive. Moreover, in this embodiment, although the water-insoluble adhesive was apply | coated to both of the end surfaces 22 which a strip opposes, you may make it apply | coat only to any one.
[0028]
Since the outer braid 5 is hardened in each braid with rubber core, the outer braid 5 is not loosened at the cut surface, and when the cut surfaces of each strip are pressed and bonded, the loosened portion has an excessive adhesive. It can be bonded without impairing the aesthetic appearance by impregnating the adhesive part. Further, since each strip 2 does not bend unless an excessive force is applied, it can be easily conveyed and pressed.
[0029]
The cleaning process will be described with reference to FIG. The combination braid 1a with rubber core formed in the cleaning step of this embodiment is washed with water using the cleaning device shown in FIG. 5, and the curing agent impregnated in the outer braid 5 is dissolved in the washing water and removed.
[0030]
The cleaning apparatus shown in FIG. 5 includes a cleaning tank 24 in which the cleaning water 23 is stored, a supply port 25 that supplies the cleaning water 23 to the cleaning tank 24, a drain port 26 that discharges the cleaning water 23 from the cleaning tank 24, A compressed air port 27 is provided at the bottom of the cleaning tank 24 for aeration of the cleaning water 23, and the cleaning water 23 can be heated from the side by a heating device (not shown). A perforated plate 28 is provided at the bottom of the cleaning tank 24, and the compressed air supplied from the compressed air port 27 is dispersed by the perforated plate 28 and ejected into the cleaning water 23.
[0031]
According to the cleaning apparatus shown in FIG. 5, the combination braid 1a with a rubber core is put into the cleaning water 23 accommodated in the cleaning tank 24, and aeration is performed by ejecting compressed air from the compressed air port 27 into the cleaning water 23. The washing water 23 is stirred. Thereby, the curing agent impregnated in the outer braid of the combination braid 1a with rubber core is efficiently dissolved in the washing water 23 and removed. At the same time, the cleaning water 23 can be heated more efficiently from the side surface of the cleaning tank 24 to be more efficiently cleaned. As a result, the outer braid 5 regains the original stretchability of the strip 2 except for the adhesive portion 3 where the adhesive strength is maintained by the water-insoluble adhesive.
[0032]
When the inventor pulls the braid 6 with a rubber core from the aqueous solution 9 of the curing agent and dries it in the curing process, the moisture in the outer braid 5 moves to a fast-drying portion, and the curing agent accompanies the movement of the moisture. Found that moved. The phenomenon that the solute moves with the movement of the solvent as in the case of the curing agent is not observed when a normal fiber having a small diameter is wet-treated with a chemical, and the rubber core 4 is covered with the outer braid 5. This is a phenomenon peculiar to the rubber-cored braid 6 having a structure.
[0033]
In this embodiment, the braid 6 with rubber core is quickly and uniformly dried using the drying device, so that the water content of the aqueous solution of the curing agent is uniformly evaporated from the surface of the outer braid 5 as shown by the arrows in FIG. The moisture moves toward the surface of the outer braid 5. Accordingly, the curing agent also moves with the moisture, and a concentration gradient is formed such that the concentration is higher as the surface approaches the outer surface of the outer braid 5 and the concentration is lower as the surface approaches the interface with the rubber core 4.
[0034]
As described above, when the braided braid 6 having a concentration gradient of the curing agent is cut into the strips 2, the concentration of the curing agent is higher near the surface of the outer braid 5 at the cut end surface, and the outer braid 5 and the rubber The hardener concentration is lower in the vicinity of the interface with the core 4. When an adhesive is applied to such a cut end face, as shown in FIG. 7, the adhesive (black coating in the figure) is better near the interface between the rubber core 4 and the outer braid 5 where the area occupied by the curing agent is small. The amount of impregnation increases due to penetration, and conversely, the surface area of the outer braid 5 having a large area occupied by the curing agent is less likely to penetrate and the amount of impregnation decreases. Further, since a certain proportion of the area within the outer braid 5 is occupied by the curing agent, the amount of the adhesive impregnated into the outer braid 5 is suppressed as compared with the case where the curing agent is not used, The amount of adhesive required for bonding the two cut surfaces can be saved.
[0035]
In general, rubber and fiber tend to have a strong adhesive force because the fiber is more easily penetrated by the adhesive. According to the method for manufacturing a braid with a connected rubber core according to this embodiment, the amount of adhesive impregnation increases near the interface between the rubber core 4 and the outer braid 5 as shown in FIG. In addition, a strong adhesive force can be obtained even between the rubber cores 4, 4 and between the rubber core 4 and the outer braid 5.
[0036]
Here, a case is considered in which the adhesive is applied to the contact portion between the strips 2 in the reverse order, that is, after the press contact, without performing the press contact after applying the adhesive to the end face 22 of the strip 2. . In this case, the adhesive must penetrate from the surface of the outer braid 5, but the adhesive applied is sufficiently impregnated in the contact portion because the applied adhesive is difficult to penetrate into the corresponding contact portion for the reason described above. Therefore, there arises a disadvantage that the adhesive force is reduced. In the present embodiment, the adhesive is applied to the end face 22 of the strip 2 and then pressed to bond the strips 2 to each other. Therefore, such inconvenience does not occur, and the adhesive strength is sufficiently strong. Is obtained.
[0037]
In the present embodiment, the braid 6 with rubber core is cured over its entire length in the curing step, but only a predetermined portion to be cut in the cutting step may be cured with a curing agent. In this case, the cleaning step can be omitted. The curing agent used at this time may be water-insoluble, but it must have an affinity with the adhesive used in the bonding step in order to strengthen the adhesive force at the bonded portion.
[0038]
A detailed structure of the apparatus 14 which is schematically shown in FIG. 4 and performs the cutting process to the bonding process will be described with reference to FIG. The connected rubber cored braid manufacturing apparatus shown in FIG. 8 includes three conveyance paths 15a to 15c in which the rubber cored braid 6 cured over the entire length by the curing agent is conveyed in the axial direction, and the rubber cored braid 6 An alignment path 19 on which the strips 2 cut and transferred from the sheet are transferred and aligned, cutting blades 29a to 29c for cutting the rubber-cored braids 6a to 6c on the conveying paths 15a to 15c at predetermined positions, and cutting When the strips 2a to 2c formed by cutting with the blades 29a to 29c are transported in the radial direction, and the strips 2a to 2c are transferred and aligned to the alignment path 19, they are moved. A piston 20 and a pressure plate 21 that are pressed in the axial direction, and an adhesive application means 30 that drops an adhesive on the contact portion of the strip 2 when pressed are provided.
[0039]
Cutting blade openings 31a to 31c are formed in the conveying paths 15a to 15c so that the blades 29a to 29c are not damaged when they are lowered. The conveying paths 15a to 15c are bowl-shaped until reaching the cutting blade openings 31a to 31c, but the cutting blade openings 31a so that the strips 2a to 2c are smoothly transferred to the guide conveying paths 18a to 18c. After ˜31c, the hook is half open and smoothly connected to the guide conveyance paths 18a to 18c. At the bottom of the alignment path 19, the adhesive applied by the adhesive application means 30 drips between the bottom of the alignment path 19 and the strips 2 a to 2 c and adheres to each other. In order to avoid this, the opening 32 is opened. The guide transport paths 18a to 18c are provided between the partition plates 16a and 16b, between the partition plates 16b and 16c, and between the partition plates 16c and 16d, respectively, and the strips 2a to 2c are aligned from the transport paths 15a to 15c by their own weight. The base 33 is inclined so as to move in the radial direction up to the path 19. The partition plates 16a to 16c are also end portions of the transport paths 15a to 15c, and when the leading ends of the braids 6a to 6c with rubber cores on the transport paths 15a to 15c reach the partition plates 16a to 16c, It cut | disconnects by each cutting blade 29a-29c. In order to prevent the strips 2a to 2c transported from the transport paths 18a to 18c from spilling out of the alignment path 19, the strips 2a to 2c are moved toward the transport direction by the guide transport paths 18a to 18c. The warping of the alignment path 19 is sufficiently large.
[0040]
According to the device, for example, by placing three types of braids with rubber cores of red, blue, and white on the transport paths 15a to 15c in order, the combination braid 1a with rubber cores of three colors of red, blue, and white can be surely obtained. can get. When it is desired to change the color arrangement, the order of placement on the transport paths 15a to 15c may be changed, and the rubber cored combination braid 1a with high color arrangement reliability can be manufactured. In the present embodiment, there are three conveyance paths, but the number may be changed as necessary. In the bonding process, a plurality of strips 2 coated with an adhesive are pressed in the axial direction and a plurality of points are bonded at a time. Therefore, the adhesive is manually applied and pressed for each bonding point. Save time and effort compared to the case. As the number of the strips 2 forming the rubber core-containing combination braid 1a is larger, in other words, as the number of bonded portions is larger, the above-described effect becomes more remarkable.
[0041]
In the apparatus, the contact portion when the strips 2 are pressed against each other is located at the bottom of the alignment path 19 from the position where the end surface 22 where the water-insoluble adhesive is applied to the strips 2 is positioned. The opening 32 is opened over the range up to the place. The width of the opening 32 is slightly larger than the above range in consideration of the width that the adhesive impregnates in the strip 2. Thereby, it can prevent that the adhesive agent apply | coated to the strip 2 permeates between this strip 2 and the bottom part of the said alignment path 19, and both are adhere | attached, and the combination braid 1a containing a rubber core can be prevented. Manufacture can be performed continuously without any delay.
[0042]
It should be noted that the adhesive applied in the adhesive application step is adjusted to the minimum amount necessary for bonding the strips 2 and care is taken so that the strips 2 and the bottoms of the alignment paths 19 are not bonded by the excess adhesive. The opening 32 may not be opened at the bottom of the alignment path 19.
[0043]
In the above, only the production of the rubber cored combination braid 1a has been described. However, the rubber core combination braid 1a is bonded to both ends before the cleaning step to form an annular shape, and then the cleaning step is performed. A cored braid ring 1b can be manufactured.
