Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an endoscopic forceps plug that is detachably installed at a proximal end opening of a treatment instrument insertion channel of an endoscope.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A treatment instrument insertion channel (passage) for inserting and using treatment tools such as forceps, an incision tool, a ligation tool, and various sensors is provided inside the insertion portion of the endoscope. With the endoscope insertion portion inserted into the body cavity, various treatment tools such as those described above are inserted from the proximal end opening of the treatment tool insertion channel and protruded from the distal opening to perform various treatments. be able to.
[0003]
An endoscopic forceps plug made of an elastic material such as rubber is installed at the proximal end opening of the treatment instrument insertion channel in order to prevent liquid in the body cavity from leaking to the outside. A slit is formed in the forceps plug for endoscope, and the treatment instrument is inserted into the treatment instrument insertion channel by pushing the slit open. When the treatment tool is removed, the slit automatically closes due to elasticity to prevent leakage of liquid or the like in the body cavity.
