従来、この種の建物の側壁構造として以下の如きものは知られている。即ち、2階以上の建物に設けられた下階と上階との境の胴差しに、上下2枚の側壁板が胴差しの高さ方向の中間で突き合わされた状態で、固定され、また、左右に並ぶ側壁板の突き合わせ縁が高さ方向に一直線状につながったものは知られている。

【従来技術の欠点】
前記従来の建物の側壁構造には以下の如き欠点があった。即ち、上下2枚の側壁板が胴差しの高さ方向の中間で突き合わされた状態で胴差しに固定されていたため、即ち、胴差しに上下2枚の側壁板が別個に固定されたものであったため、側壁板と胴差しとの一体化を強固に行なうことが出来ないという欠点があった。
また、左右に並ぶ側壁板の突き合わせ縁が高さ方向に一直線状につながった状態となされていたので、建物の側壁にそれを上下にずらせるような力が作用した際、高さ方向に一直線状につながった状態の突き合わせ縁を境として、側壁板同士が上下にずれやすいという欠点があった。

課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は前記欠点を解消するために以下の如き手段を採用した。
請求項1の発明は、その上階部分と下階部分との境界に胴差しを有する外壁骨格体と、
該外壁骨格体の下階部分に、水平方向に並設された下階側壁板と、前記外壁骨格体の上階部分に、水平方向に並設された上階側壁板と、その上部及び下部が前記胴差しの上端面及び下端面から突出する状態で、前記胴差しに、水平方向に並設された胴差し側壁板とを備え、隣り合う前記下階側壁板が突き合わされる該下階側壁板の縁部と、隣り合う前記胴差し側壁板が突き合わされる該胴差し側壁板の縁部と、隣り合う前記上階側壁板が突き合わされる該上階側壁板の縁部とが、上下方向に一直線上に並ばないように構成されている部分を有するものである。

【発明の作用】
請求項1の発明は以下の如き作用をなすものである。
上下2枚の側壁板が胴差しの高さ方向の中間で突き合わされた状態で胴差しに固定されたものでないので、即ち、胴差しに1枚の側壁板が固定されたものであるので、側壁板と胴差しとの一体化を従来に比較して強固に行なうことが出来、その結果、建物の側壁の強度を高めることが出来る。また、左右に並ぶ側壁板の突き合わせ縁が高さ方向に一直線状につながらずにずれているので、従来に比較して、建物の側壁にそれを上下にずらせるような力が作用した際、側壁板同士が上下にずれにくく、その結果、この点からも建物の側壁の強度を高めることが出来る。

建物1の外壁骨格体2は、公知のごとく、土台4、多数の柱5、1階と2階との境に設けられた胴差し6、2階の天井部分に設けられた桁7、胴差し6と平行な多数の横木8及び窓固定枠9等を有している。
