本発明は、把手付きの合成樹脂製容器に関する。

例えば、実開平6−81936 号が示すように把手付きの合成樹脂製容器が知られている。該容器は把手上端の屈曲部分外面へ指当て用凹みを設けたもので、容器を持ち上げて傾ける際、把手を持つ手の拇指を上記凹みへ当てて容器を傾けることで、液体注出を容易に行えるよう設けたものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
近時上記のような把手付きの合成樹脂製容器として、例えば4リットル入りの容器も用いられるようになった。このような大形容器は液体充填状態で相当の重量となるため、上記把手および指当て用凹みの位置が容器の使い易さに影響を及ぼす。

又容器は容器体内への液体充填、又容器箱詰め等の際にベルトコンベア上へ載置されることが多いが、この際容器体胴部の外面から把手が外方へ突出していると、把手同志がぶつかる等して容器が倒れ、支障を来すようなことがあった。

本発明は上記のような欠点を共に除去できるよう設けたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
第1の手段として、円筒状の胴部2上端から、上内方へ起立する肩部3を介して口頸部4を起立し、かつ胴部の後方上部には、後面および左右両側面を開口する、把手部材取付け用の凹部5を設けた容器本体1と、側面からみてほぼD字形状をなし、前方側に有する起立板部12は上記凹部形成壁部へ縦設状態に固着させ、かつ後方側の起立板部は凹部後方部分に縦設させて把手13とした把手部材11とからなり、上記容器本体胴部は上下ほぼ同一外径とすると共に、上記把手13の後面は、上方からみて胴部分外周面後部から後方へ突出させることなく、該後部とほぼ同一外周面の後方部分ないし多少内方部分に位置させて設け、又上記凹部5の上端は、胴部上端よりも下方に設けて、上記把手13上方胴部分の後部に、後面および下面開口の縦溝で形成した指当て用凹み21を設けた。

第2の手段として、上記第1の手段を有すると共に、指当て用凹み21の後壁面を、把手13の後面とほぼ同一垂直面上に位置させて設けた。

【発明の実施の形態】
まず図1から図3が示す実施形態について説明すると、1は容器本体で、該容器本体は円筒状の胴部2上端から上内方へ起立する肩部3を介して口頸部4を起立する。又その胴部の後方上部には後面および左右両側面を開口する、取手部材取付け用の凹部5を有する。図示例では上記凹部下方も浅溝状の凹状部分6とするが、該凹状部分はデザイン上のもので必要に設ければよい。又胴部2の前半部外面には、レッテル貼布用の浅い凹状部7を大きく形成し、胴部2の下部には補強用の凹溝8を周設しているが、これ等も必要により設ければよい。

上記凹部5へは、側面からみてほぼD字形状をなす把手部材11を取付けている。該把手部材は前方側に有する起立板部12を凹部5の後壁部へ縦設状態に固着させ、又後方側の起立板部は、凹部後方部分へ図1が示すように縦設させて把手13としている。上記前方側起立板部12の固着は、その上下両端部を把手部材11の上下横設板14、15よりも上方および下方へ多少突出させておき、その前方側起立板部12をいわゆるインサート成形により、凹部5形成壁部内へ半ば埋設して行えばよい。尚把手13の上下両端部も上記上下横設板14、15よりも上下へ突出させて設けており、その上下突出部分前面を、凹部5の上下両壁部分へ当接させている。
