[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a paper splicing method and a method for joining a new base paper supported by the other base paper hook to an old base paper fed from one base paper hook of the mill roll stand between the mill roll stand and the wave tension device. Is related to the splicer .
[0002]
[Prior art]
The splicer in the corrugating machine is equipped with a splicing device on the lower side of the wave tension device. When the remaining length of the old base paper decreases, the supply of the old base paper from the mill roll stand is temporarily stopped and the splicer Then, the supply to the upstream side is continued using the reservoir portion of the paper, and the new base paper is stuck to the stopped old base paper using a double-sided tape (for example, JP-A-9-183543).
[0003]
In this conventional splicer splicing method and apparatus, a double-sided tape is affixed to the tip of a new base paper set on the base paper and the release paper attached to the surface of the tape is removed. The tip is set on one splice head unit in the splice head located above the double-sided tape, and the splice head unit is rotated to stand by along the other splice head unit. Double-sided tape is crimped on the old base paper, and at the same time, the lower part of the old base paper's crimping section is cut by advancing the cutter provided on the splice head unit on the old base paper, so that the tip of the new base paper and the old base paper overlap. It is a successor.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When the conventional paper splicing method and apparatus are used, as shown in FIG. 11, the joint between the new base paper and the old base paper that are joined together with the double-sided tape interposed therebetween is tripled and thickened. When passing through the roll, an impact was applied to the roll, and the apparatus was damaged due to a large vibration, or the waveform during waveform shaping was disturbed, resulting in defective products.
[0005]
In addition, this type of paper splicing method and apparatus requires manual operation to attach double-sided tape to a new base paper, release paper release, and transfer to a paper splicing position. It is difficult for a single person to apply a tape to a wide base paper having a length of 2000 mm to 2800 mm and transfer it to a paper splicing position . Also, since the paper splicing work takes time, it was unsuitable for a high-speed corrugating machine.
[0006]
The present invention is intended to solve the above problems and to provide a paper splicing method adapted to a recent corrugating machine and a splicer using the method .
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the paper splicing method according to the first aspect of the present invention is to join the front end of a new base paper supported by the other base paper hook to the old base paper fed from one base paper hook of the mill roll stand. A splicing method in a splicer, in which a single-sided adhesive tape is protruded from the front end of the new base paper from one end to the other end of the new base paper at the center on the mill roll stand. After sticking, the tip of this new base paper is transferred to one side of a double-edged cutter placed at the paper splicing position between the base paper hook and the wave tension device above it, and the adhesive surface of the protruding part of the single-sided adhesive tape the protruding above the double-edged cutter, the projections of the single-sided adhesive tape is opposed to old web that travels the other side of the double-edged cutter, toward the old web is temporarily stopped for by double-edged cutter to the running Pressure and simultaneously cut with the same cutter, by crimping the lower end of the old web which is the cut in the projecting portion of the single-sided adhesive tape, bonded against the upper edge of the lower edge and the new web of old web, it is bonded It is characterized by running raw paper .
[0008]
As mentioned above, by sticking part of the single-sided adhesive tape in the width direction to the leading edge of the new base paper and the other part to the bottom end of the old base paper, butting the edges of both base papers together Since the joining portion is not thickened as in the case where the joining portions are overlapped and joined using a double-sided adhesive tape, no impact is applied to the corrugating roll. Therefore, the apparatus is not damaged, and a defective product due to irregular waveforms is not generated.
[0009]
Since the present invention cuts the old base paper with a double-edged cutter and simultaneously presses it against the protruding end of the adhesive tape protruding from the front end of the new base paper, the paper splicing operation is performed instantaneously. Adhesion of single-sided adhesive tape to the tip of new base paper, transfer of new base paper with single-sided adhesive tape to the splicing position, cutting of old base paper, pasting of old base paper to the protruding part of single-sided adhesive tape, By performing a series of operations, efficient paper splicing becomes possible.
[0010]
The splicer of the invention of
[0011]
The tip of the new base paper is transported to the position of the suction bar, and the running body of the tape applicator is run from one end to the other end on the upper surface, and one side of the single-sided adhesive tape is attached to the front end of the new base paper. Then, the remaining other side portion is projected from the leading edge of the new base paper.
