Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a latent image pattern which is one of forgery preventing means applied to securities such as banknotes, stock certificates, gift certificates, and lotteries.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As anti-counterfeiting means, holoclam can be pasted on securities, watermarks can be placed on paper, latent image patterns can be displayed depending on the viewing position, micro characters that cannot be reproduced by copying, and fine prints can be printed. Various methods such as printing using ink, infrared absorbing ink, UV ink, and the like are applied in combination.
[0003]
As shown in FIG. 3, the latent image pattern, which is one of the forgery prevention means, is provided in a part of the securities (10) together with other forgery prevention means. When this securities is viewed from directly above, it cannot be recognized as a simple pattern (11) as shown in FIG. 4 (a), but the latent image pattern (12) is formed in this portion with a fine uneven shape. If it is formed, when the securities are tilted or the viewpoint direction is moved, shadows due to unevenness are generated, and the latent image pattern (12) emerges and can be recognized as shown in FIG. 4B.
[0004]
The latent image pattern will be described by taking the letter “T” as an example as shown in FIG.
For example, the area of the character “T” pattern has a fine uneven shape (13) along the horizontal (horizontal) line shape, and the area outside the character “T” pattern has a vertical (vertical) line shape. And is formed into a fine uneven shape (14).
[0005]
When the latent image pattern shown in FIGS. 5A and 1A is tilted in the vertical direction with respect to the paper surface, it is compressed in the vertical (vertical) direction as shown in FIG. 1B. It will be visually recognized as a latent image pattern.
For example, in FIG. 1A, when the ratio of each dimension of the latent image pattern is AY: AT = 1: 1.5 and LT: LY = 1: 1, as shown in FIG. The ratio of each dimension of the latent image pattern viewed at an inclination is AY ′: AT ′ = 1: 1, LT ′: LY ′ = 0.7: 1, and the image is viewed in a contracted shape in the vertical (vertical) direction. .
Accordingly, the visually recognized latent image pattern is distorted.
[0006]
Conventionally, in order to prevent such distortion from being visually recognized, the horizontal / vertical ratio (AY / AT in the above example) of the entire latent image pattern is estimated in advance to produce a latent image pattern. Was. However, the line width ratio (LT / LY in the above example) is not taken into consideration, and the line width (LT ′) in the horizontal direction is narrowed and visually recognized. In this case, it is difficult to say that it is an optimum latent image pattern, and there is a problem that the line becomes thin and difficult to see.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide an anti-counterfeit pattern that can obtain an optimal latent image pattern that is not distorted and easily visible during visual recognition. .
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention according to claim 1, which has been made to solve the above-described problems, is configured so that a line width of a region perpendicular to a direction in which a latent image pattern formed of fine unevenness along a line is viewed so as to be visually recognized is set to another region. A forgery prevention pattern characterized in that a latent image pattern larger than the line width is provided.
[0009]
The invention described in claim 2 is a securities characterized in that the anti-counterfeit pattern according to claim 1 is formed in any place of the securities.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0011]
FIG. 2 shows a latent image pattern in which the line width of a region perpendicular to the viewing direction to be viewed, that is, the line width (LT) in the horizontal direction is increased as described with reference to FIG.
[0012]
A method for increasing the line width in the horizontal direction can be realized by increasing the number of concavo-convex shapes forming a latent image.
[0013]
In the case where the latent image pattern is viewed at an angle as in the above example, if the horizontal line width (LT) is reduced to 0.7 with respect to the vertical line width (LY), it is visually recognized. For example, as shown in FIG. 2A, the horizontal line width (LT) is enlarged to 1.43 times (1 / 0.7) to form a latent image.
[0014]
As shown in FIG. 2B, the latent image formed in this way is visually recognized as a normal undeformed character pattern with LT ′: LY′≈1: 1 when the latent image is tilted and visually recognized.
[0015]
As an example of the above, within the region of the letter “T” pattern, a fine uneven shape is formed along the horizontal (horizontal) direction line, and outside the region of the character “T” pattern, along the vertical (vertical) direction line. On the contrary, in the region of the letter “T” pattern, the fine uneven shape is formed along the line in the vertical (vertical) direction, and outside the region of the character “T” pattern. You may shape | mold fine uneven | corrugated shape along the line | wire shape of a horizontal (horizontal) direction.
[0016]
In order to form this latent image, an intaglio printing method using a transparent ink with a large ink film or a screen printing method is used to form a concavo-convex shape by an ink film layer, or it is used for a mold such as paper by a press method using a mold. A normal method for forming a concavo-convex shape directly on the material is used. The pitch of the concavo-convex shape is about 5 to 20 lines / mm, and the height difference of the concavo-convex shape is about 10 to 30 μm.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, by making the latent image pattern in which the line width of the region perpendicular to the direction of viewing the latent image pattern is larger than the line width of other regions, there is no distortion at the time of visual recognition, and Thus, an optimal latent image pattern that is easy to visually recognize is obtained.
[Brief description of the drawings]
