【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、サンドイッチやカステラなどの食品（以下、「サンドイッチ」という。）を、袋状にシールした表フィルムおよび裏フィルムによって包装する食品用の包装袋に関し、詳しくは、包装されたサンドイッチが外力を受けても変形しにくいようにした食品用の包装袋に関する。

【従来の技術】
直角三角形のサンドイッチは、例えば図４ないし図６に示すような食品用の包装袋に包装されて販売されている。この食品用の包装袋は、図４に示すように重ね合わされている台形状の表フィルム１１０と裏フィルム１２０との両側縁１１１，１２１が熱によって極細にシールされ、幅の細い一端（以下、「上」という。）側が帯状のシール部１０１によって封止され、幅の広い他端（以下、「下」という。）側が開口部１０２によって開口可能とされている。開口部１０２を開口しやすいようにするため、表フィルム１１０は図４の点線に示すように裏フィルム１２０よりもわずかに短く形成され（図4では裏フィルム１２０を表フィルム１１０の上に重ねて描いてある。）、あるいは裏フィルム１２０が表フィルム１１０よりもわずかに短く形成されている。

このような表フィルム１１０と裏フィルム１２０の材質は、食品包装用のプラスチックフィルムであれば特定するものではないが、低コストで酸素バリヤー性などの特性に優れたポリプロピレンなどが一般的に使用されている。さらに、両フィルム１１０，１２０の厚さは、開封性や経済性などの観点から20〜30μｍとされている。

そして、シール部１０１から上側は、表フィルム１１０と裏フィルム１２０が重ね合わされた突出片１１２，１２２とされ、該突出片１１２，１２２の周囲が熱によって極細にシールされている。このような突出片１１２，１２２の上縁は円弧状や波形状のようなデザイン性に富んだ形状とされることがある。

さらに、裏フィルム１２０の突出片１２２には、逆Ｕ字形の切込線１２３が入れられ、該切込線１２３の内側が舌片状の摘み片１２４とされている。表フィルム１１０と裏フィルム１２０とは単に重ね合わされているだけであるから、摘み片１２４は摘み上げることができる。そして、裏フィルム１２０の内面には、この摘み片１２４からシール部１０１を交差して開口部１０２付近まで、裏フィルム１２０を引き裂くための細い帯状の切断手段（以下、「カットテープ」という。）１０３が貼り付けられている。

このような食品用の包装袋は、表フィルム１１０と裏フィルム１２０とが重ね合わされた状態から、図５に示すように表フィルム１１０と裏フィルム１２０とが直角に折り曲げられて角部１１５，１２５が形成され、開口部１０２が長方形状に開口されることにより、側面がほぼ三角形の袋状の空間１０４が形成される。この空間１０４内にサンドイッチＳが収容され、開口部１０２側の表フィルム１１０と裏フィルム１２０は、図６に示すように折り込まれて底部１０５とされ、該底部１０５は粘着テープ（図示せず）などによって封緘され、サンドイッチＳが包装される。

そして、包装されたサンドイッチＳを食するには、裏フィルム１２０の突出片１２２に設けられた摘み片１２４を摘んで真っ直ぐ下方向へ引っ張ることにより、図６に示すようにカットテープ１０３がシール部１０１の裏フィルム１２０を裁断し、さらに真っ直ぐ下方向に引っ張ることにより、裏フィルム１２０を下方へ引き裂く。裏フィルム１２０が底部１０５の方まで引き裂かれることにより、食品用の包装袋は開封され、サンドイッチＳを引き裂かれた裏フィルム１２０側から取り出すことができる。

なお、重ね合わされた２枚のフィルムの一方のフィルムに、２本のカットテープが摘み片から開口部に向って逆Ｖ字形に貼り付けられたサンドイッチ用包装具が実用新案登録第３０５２６４８号公報に開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、ポリプロピレンのような食品包装用のプラスチックフィルムは、密封性が発揮され、またカットテープ１０３によって引き裂かれて包装されたサンドイッチＳを容易に取り出すことができるという特長を有していることから食品用の包装袋の表裏フィルム１１０，１２０として使用されている。

そして、表裏フィルム１１０，１２０は開封性や経済性などの観点から20〜30μｍの厚さの食品包装用のプラスチックフィルムが使用され、しなやかさを有している。

しかし、サンドイッチを包装するとき、搬送するとき、あるいは陳列するときなどの様々な状況下で、サンドイッチは把持され、あるいは収納箱のエッジなどに勢いよく突き当たるなどの外力が加えられることがあり、表フィルム１１０および裏フィルム１２０が撓曲し、サンドイッチの側面が押圧され、あるいは角部が丸くなるなど変形することことがある。すると、サンドイッチは外観が損なわれ、商品価値が低下し、売れ残りが生じることもある。このことは、実用新案登録第３０５２６４８号公報に開示されたサンドイッチ用包装具においても同様である。

このため、サンドイッチが外力を受けても変形しないように、サンドイッチを紙製の箱内に収納し、販売される場合もある。しかし、紙製の箱では、密閉性が不十分で、サンドイッチが乾燥しやすいため、品質を保持することができないだけでなく、コストがアップするといった問題がある。

そこで、本発明は密封性、開封性およびコストの面において優れているだけでなく、包装されたサンドイッチが外力を受けても変形しにくいようにした食品用の包装袋を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る食品用の包装袋は、重ね合わされている表フィルムおよび裏フィルムの両側縁と一端側とがシールされ、かつ他端側が包装される食品の挿入口となる開口部とされ、包装された食品を取り出す取出し面と、該取出し面の両側に屈曲した状態で連続する一対の側面と、該一対の側面に屈曲した状態で連続し、かつ前記取出し面と対向する正面とが形成されるような食品の包装形態を採る袋本体と、前記一対の側面の領域の外面にそれぞれ貼着される一対の板状のプロテクタと、前記正面の領域の外面に配置されるフロントボードとが備えられ、前記一対のプロテクタとフロントボードとが一体に形成されていることを特徴としている。

この食品用の包装袋によれば、袋本体の側面の領域に貼着される一対の板状のプロテクタが、袋本体に包装された食品に加えられる外力を受け止め、前記一対のプロテクタがフロントボードによって連結されていることにより、前記一対のプロテクタの間隔が一定に維持される。したがって、包装された食品は外力が加えられても変形することがない。
また、プロテクタとフロントボードとが一体に形成されることにより、プロテクタを袋本体の側面に貼着する作業効率を向上させることができる。

また、前記袋本体は、裏フィルムに取出し面、表フィルムに正面、裏フィルムと表フィルムに跨って一対の側面がそれぞれ形成され、前記プロテクタは、前記側面の領域の内、表フィルムの外面にのみ貼着され、前記一対のプロテクタとフロントボードとは、前記表フィルムと裏フィルムとが重ね合わされている状態で、平面状態となるように構成されていることが好ましい。プロテクタが側面の領域の内、表フィルムの外面にのみ貼着されることにより、表フィルムと裏フィルムとが重ね合わされている状態で、プロテクタとフロントボードとが平面状態となるように構成することができる。このように構成されることにより、この食品用の包装袋は、食品用の包装袋を製造する工場から食品を包装する工場まで多数枚重ねて効率的に搬送することができる。

また、前記プロテクタは、前記袋本体の側面の領域の全面に接合する大きさに形成されていること好ましい。プロテクタが袋本体の側面の全面に接合する大きさに形成されることにより、袋本体の側面のいずれの部位に外力が加えられても、包装された食品は変形しないようにすることができる。

また、前記フロントボードは、窓穴部が形成されていることが好ましい。フロントボードに窓穴部が形成されることにより、フロントボードが透明部材でないときに、窓穴部から包装された食品を目視することができる。

また、前記フロントボードには、前記表フィルムと裏フィルムとがシールされた一端側から突出する装飾体が接合されていてもよい。装飾体は、表裏フィルムの一端側から突出することにより、消費者の目に留まるような任意の形状とし、あるいは商標、品名あるいはキャラクタなどが施される。

また、前記袋本体の取出し面には、該取出し面を形成しているフィルムを引き裂くための切断手段が設けられていることが好ましい。切断手段によって取出し面を形成しているフィルムを引き裂き、包装されている食品を容易に取り出すことができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係る食品用の包装袋の一実施形態を図１ないし図３を参照しながら説明する。本実施形体の食品用の包装袋は、袋本体１０と、一対の板状のプロテクタ２０，２０と、該一対のプロテクタ２０を連結するフロントボード３０とが備えられていることを特徴としている。

袋本体１０は従来と同様、重ね合わされている表フィルム１１および裏フィルム１２の両側縁１１ａ，１２ａと一端（以下、「上」という。）側１０ａとが熱または接着剤などによってシールされ、他端（以下、「下」という。）側１０ｂが包装される食品の挿入口となる開口部１３としたものである。表フィルム１１と裏フィルム１２は、直角三角形状のサンドイッチＳを包装するため、台形状とされており、幅の細い上側１０ａは帯状のシール部１４としてシールされ、このシール部１４と連続して表裏フィルム１１，１２の両側縁１１ａ，１２ａが極細にシールされることにより、密封性を有する袋本体１０が形成されている。

そして、袋本体１０の下側１０ｂに設けられている開口部１３を開口しやすいようにするため、例えば図１に示すように表フィルム１１が裏フィルム１２よりも短く形成され、裏フィルム１２の下側が表フィルム１１の下側よりも突出するようにされている（図１では、表フィルム１１を裏フィルム１２の上に重ねて描いていある。）。

このような表フィルム１１と裏フィルム１２は、低コストで酸素バリヤー性などの特性に優れた食品包装用のプラスチックフィルム、例えばポリプロピレンなどが使用され、開封性や経済性などの観点から20〜30μｍの厚さとされている。

そして、袋本体１０には、シール部１４の上側の表フィルム１１と裏フィルム１２に突出片１５が備えられている。突出片１５の周囲は、熱や接着剤などによって極細にシールされている。このような突出片１５を構成している裏フィルム１２には逆Ｕ字形の切込線１６が入れられ、切込線１６の内側が摘み上げることのできる舌片状の摘み片１７とされている。なお、切込線１６の両端部はシール部１４内に設けられてもよい。

さらに、裏フィルム１２の内面には、摘み片１７からシール部１４を交差して開口部１３付近まで、裏フィルム１２を引き裂くための細い帯状の切断手段（以下、「カットテープ」という。）１９が貼り付けられている。

そして、重ね合わされた表フィルム１１と裏フィルム１２は、開口部１３が長方形状に開口されることにより、袋本体１０は裏フィルム１２に長方形状の取出し面Ａ、表フィルム１１に長方形状の正面Ｂ、裏フィルム１２と表フィルム１１に跨って一対の直角三角形状の側面Ｃがそれぞれ形成される。この側面Ｃは、表フィルム１１の側縁１１ａと裏フィルム１２の側縁１２ａを中心に、表フィルム１１の側部１１ｂと裏フィルム１２の側部１２ｂとが連続した三角形状に形成されている。そして、袋本体１０内に収納されたサンドイッチＳは、切り口が取出し面Ａと正面Ｂに接合し、外側のパンが側面Ｃと接合する。

ただし、表フィルム１１の内面には、サンドイッチＳの切り口と同じ大きさの内フィルム（図示せず）が貼着されており、具材が例えばゆで卵とマヨネーズなどをミックスしたサンドイッチＳが収納されても、この具材が内フィルムに付着して、表フィルム１１が汚れないようにされている。

そして、本発明の食品用の包装袋は、前記一対の側面Ｃの領域にそれぞれ一対の板状のプロテクタ２０が貼着されていることを特徴としている。プロテクタ２０は袋本体１０に包装されたサンドイッチＳに加えられる外力を受け止めるもので、サンドイッチＳを変形させない程度の剛性を有している。したがって、プロテクタ２０は例えば0.5mm前後の厚さの厚紙や厚手の軟質のプラスチックフィルム、あるいは硬質のプラスチック板などによって成形される。

このようなプロテクタ２０は、例えばサンドイッチＳの側面の全体に接合する大きさの直角三角形状に形成される。そしてプロテクタ２０は、表フィルム１１の側部１１ｂの全面または一部に貼着され、裏フィルム１２の側部１２ｂとは貼着されずに接合するのみとされている。

このような一対のプロテクタ２０は、表フィルム１１の正面Ｂの幅と同じ幅のフロントボード３０に連結されている。すなわち、フロントボード３０の両側にプロテクタ２０の斜辺２１が連結され、フロントボード３０によって一対のプロテクタ２０の間隔が正面Ｂの幅を維持するようにされている。

このフロントボード３０は例えばプロテクタ２０と同じ厚紙または厚手のプラスチックフィルムなどの材質によって、プロテクタ２０と一体成形され、プロテクタ２０とフロントボード３０との境界線に折り込み線を形成し、プロテクタ２０をフロントボード３０から折り曲げることができるようにされている。

また、フロントボード３０は表フィルム１１の正面Ｂに配置されるため、フロントボード３０が紙のような透明でない材質で成形されていると、表フィルム１１の正面Ｂがフロントボード３０によって遮蔽され、該正面Ｂに内フィルムを介して接合しているサンドイッチＳの切り口を目視することができなくなる。そこで、フロントボード３０が透明でない材質で形成されているときは、フロントボード３０の中間に窓穴部３１が形成される。

窓穴部３１は例えば表フィルム１１の正面Ｂの幅と同じ幅の四角形とし、フロントボード３０は一対のプロテクタ２０の上端部と下端部でのみ、帯状に連結するようにすることにより、包装されたサンドイッチＳの中身を広い範囲で目視できるようにされている。ただし、窓穴部３１は、円形や星形のようなデザイン性に富んだ形状とすることもできる。なお、フロントボード３０が透明な材質で成形されているときは、窓穴部３１を設けなくてもよい。

そして、表フィルム１１の正面Ｂに接合しているフロントボード３０は全面または一部が表フィルム１１に貼着され、フロントボード３０が位置ずれしないようにされている。ただし、フロントボード３０を連結しているプロテクタ２０が表フィルム１１の側部１１ｂに貼着されているため、フロントボード３０を表フィルム１１に貼着しないようにすることもできる。

そして、フロントボード３０の上端には突出片１５側に突出する装飾体４０が接合されている。装飾体４０は、商標、品名あるいはキャラクタなどを目に付きやすいようにするため、例えば図１に示すような両端に半円状の突出部４１を形成したものや、図２（ａ）に示すような吹出し状の突出部４１を形成したもの、図２（ｂ）に示すような外形を雲形に形成したもの、図示しない円筒形や凹凸などの立体的な形状など任意の形状とすることができる。

ただし、装飾体４０は少なくとも表フィルム１１の突出片１５の全面または一部に貼着される台形状または長方形状の平板部分４２を備えることにより、突出片１５がシール部１４で折れ曲がらず、摘み片１７を摘みやすいようにされている。突出片１５は重ね合わされた表フィルム１１と裏フィルム１２の周囲のみがシールされているため、装飾体４０の平板部分４２が表フィルム１１の突出片１５に貼着されても、摘み片１７を摘むことができる。

ところで、プロテクタ２０、フロントボード３０および装飾体４０と表フィルム１１とは、これらの両方またはいずれか一方にのみ接着剤を塗布することによって貼着し、あるいは両面接着テープによって貼着することができる。またプロテクタ２０、フロントボード３０および装飾体４０が厚紙であるときは、各貼着面に熱によって貼着することができる樹脂材をコーティングし、その貼着面を表フィルム１１に重ね合わせた状態で加熱することによって貼着するようにすることができる。プロテクタ２０、フロントボード３０および装飾体４０が一体成形されることにより、これらを表フィルム１１に貼着する作業効率を向上させることができる。

以上のように構成された食品用の包装袋は当初、表フィルム１１と裏フィルム１２とが重ね合わされた状態において、表フィルム１１にプロテクタ２０、フロントボード３０および装飾体４０が貼着されているため、全体として薄いシート状となっている。したがって、この食品用の包装袋を製造する工場からサンドイッチＳを包装する工場まで多数枚を積み重ねて効率的に搬送することができる。

そして、サンドイッチＳを包装する工場では、開口部１３を開口し、一対のプロテクタ２０を裏フィルム１２側へ折り曲げることにより、側面が三角形の袋状の空間が形成される。このとき、表フィルム１１には斜め方向の長方形状の正面Ｂと、鉛直方向の側面Ｃとが形成され、前記正面Ｂにフロントボード３０が接合し、そして側面Ｃにプロテクタ２０が接合している。ただし、プロテクタ２０は表フィルム１１の側部１１ｂにのみ貼着されており、裏フィルム１２の側部１２ｂには貼着されず、重ね合わされているのみとなっている。

そして、前記空間内にサンドイッチＳを収納し、サンドイッチＳの底面から突出している表フィルム１１と裏フィルム１２とを折り込み、粘着テープ（図示せず）などによって封緘することにより、サンドイッチＳが包装される。このとき図３に示すように、プロテクタ２０が表裏フィルム１１，１２を介してサンドイッチＳの側面全面に接合し、フロントボード３０が表フィルム１１および内フィルムを介してサンドイッチＳの切り口に接合し、前記プロテクタ２０の間隔を一定に維持している。

したがって、包装されたサンドイッチＳの側面が把持されるなどして外力が加えられると、一対のプロテクタ２０には間隔を狭めようとする外力が加えられる。しかし、一対のプロテクタ２０は、フロントボード３０に連結され、フロントボード３０の幅の間隔よりも狭くならないため、その外力はサンドイッチＳに加えられることがなく、サンドイッチＳは変形することがない。

本発明は、前記の発明の実施形態に限定することなく、特許請求の範囲に記載した技術的事項の範囲内において種々変更することができる。例えば、表フィルム１１および裏フィルム１２は、直角三角形状のサンドイッチＳを包装するために台形状の場合について説明したが、包装される食品の形状に対応して四角形状などとすることもできる。

また、プロテクタ２０は表フィルム１１の側部１１ｂにのみ貼着される大きさとし、表フィルム１１と裏フィルム１２とが重ね合わされている状態で、プロテクタ２０が表フィルム１１の側縁１２ａからはみ出さないようにすることもできる。さらに、プロテクタ２０が紙製である場合は、窓穴部を形成し、プロテクタ２０側からも包装された食品を目視できるようにしてもよい。

逆に、包装される食品がサンドイッチＳではなく、カステラのような中身を目視する必要のない場合は、フロントボード３０が紙製であっても必ずしも窓穴部３１を形成する必要はない。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、食品が収納される袋本体の一対の側面の領域に一対の板状のプロテクタが貼着され、該一対のプロテクタがフロントボードに連結されていることにより、包装された食品に外力が加えられても、前記プロテクタが外力を受け止め、一対のプロテクタの間隔がフロントボードの幅に維持され、包装された食品を変形しないようにすることできる。したがって、包装された食品は商品価値が低下せず、売れ残りなどが生じないようにすることができる。
