Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an injection for a cup-shaped container with an in-mold label for manufacturing a plastic legless cup-shaped container used for contents that particularly require high barrier properties, heat resistance, pressure resistance, decoration, etc. The present invention relates to a molding die.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in a plastic cup-shaped container, as shown in FIGS. 2 (a) and 2 (b), in order to impart characteristics such as high barrier properties, heat resistance, pressure resistance and decorating properties to the container. In addition, a peripheral wall in-mold label (310) having the characteristics is fused to the peripheral wall (21) surface of the container, and a bottom wall in-mold label (320) having the characteristics is fused and integrated to the bottom wall (22) surface. A cup-shaped container (20) with an in-mold label has been used.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional cup-shaped container with an in-mold label, the appearance of the cup-shaped container is a quadrangular prism shape, and a cross-shaped in-mold label having a continuous wall and bottom wall is fused and integrated. Can produce a good container even with a cup-shaped container with in-mold labels without legs, but when two separate in-mold labels are fused and integrated on the peripheral wall surface and the bottom wall surface, As shown in FIG. 4, by the high-speed and high-pressure flow (indicated by arrows) of the molten resin injected from the gate (101) (pouring gate) into the cavity (11) (the space between the male mold and the female mold), There was a problem that the lower end of the in-mold label (301) for the peripheral wall inserted in the mold was rolled and the molten resin went around to the outside of the lower end of the in-mold label for the peripheral wall. As a measure for solving this trouble, as shown in FIG. 2 (b), when a container is formed with a leg (23) attached to the lower end of the peripheral wall, as shown in FIG. 3, the injection mold (10) When the lower end of the in-mold label for the peripheral wall (310) is inserted into the leg and the in-mold label for the peripheral wall is inserted into the mold, the molten resin injected into the cavity (11) from the gate (101) at a high speed The high-pressure flow (indicated by the arrow) is divided into a cavity direction that forms the upper peripheral wall and a cavity direction that forms the lower leg portion from the outer peripheral position that forms the bottom wall of the cavity, and the cavity that forms this leg portion. Depending on the molten resin flowing in, the lower end of the in-mold label for the peripheral wall does not squeeze, making it possible to produce a cup-shaped container with a good in-mold label. On the other hand, when the cross-shaped in-mold label for the peripheral wall and the bottom wall is fused and integrated, if the leg is attached to the lower end of the peripheral wall, the molten resin goes around from the lower end of the in-mold label. It was easy and it was difficult to produce a cup-shaped container with an in-mold label.
[0004]
The present invention is a cup shape with an in-mold label for producing a plastic legless cup-shaped container having characteristics necessary for use applications such as high barrier properties, heat resistance, pressure resistance and decorativeness, and having a good appearance. An injection mold for containers is provided.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
That is, the first invention of the present invention is an injection mold comprising a female mold and a male mold for forming a cup-shaped container without legs by inserting in-mold labels for a peripheral wall and a bottom wall in advance into the mold. A slide sleeve that operates in the vertical direction of the container is provided at the outer peripheral inner edge of the cavity wall that forms the bottom wall of the female mold, and the slide sleeve is a container when the mold is opened on an injection molding machine. The lower end of the in-mold label for the peripheral wall is inserted into the gap, and a gap is formed in the outer peripheral inner edge of the cavity wall forming the female container bottom wall. The peripheral wall in-mold label is temporarily attached to the cavity wall surface that forms the container peripheral wall of the mold, and the bottom wall in-mold label is attached to the cavity wall surface that forms the female container bottom wall. Vacuum At the same time as clamping the mold, the upper end surface of the slide sleeve is moved to the cavity wall surface position that forms the bottom wall of the container, and the lower end surface position of the in-mold label for the peripheral wall is moved to the bottom wall of the container. After the cavity wall in-mold label is vacuum fixed to the cavity wall surface at the position of the cavity wall to be formed, molten resin is injected into the cavity from the gate to mold the container, and at the same time, the peripheral wall and bottom wall in-mold labels are An injection mold for cup-shaped containers with an in-mold label, characterized by being fused and integrated with an outer surface.
[0006]
Next, the second invention of the present invention, before kissing ride sleeve of the gap periphery inner edge of the cavity walls forming the female receptacle bottom wall is formed by moving the vertical direction below the container width Is an injection mold for cup-shaped containers with an in-mold label according to the first aspect of the invention, wherein w is w, and the thickness of the peripheral wall in-mold label is t. .
[0007]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, a convex protrusion having a gate at the center is formed at the center of the cavity wall surface forming the female cup-shaped container bottom wall. An annular mold slit for cup-shaped containers with an in-mold label according to the first or second invention, wherein an annular vacuum slit is formed within 10 mm from the outer periphery.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The injection molding die of the present invention inserts the in-mold labels for the peripheral wall and the bottom wall into the mold in advance on the injection molding machine to mold the cup-shaped container, and at the same time, the in-mold for the peripheral wall and the bottom wall. It is an injection mold for cup-shaped containers with in-mold labels without a leg that fuses and integrates the label with the outer surface of the container. As the injection molding material, thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, etc. can be used according to the purpose of use, and the in-mold label has a resin layer that is heat-sealed and bonded to the material resin of the container. It has characteristics such as high barrier properties, heat resistance, pressure resistance and decorating properties according to the purpose of use.
[0009]
The injection mold of the present invention comprises a female mold having a special mechanism and a normal male mold, and the structure of the female mold forms a container bottom wall as shown in FIGS. 1 (a) and (b). A slide sleeve (110) that operates in the vertical direction of the container to be molded is provided at the inner peripheral edge of the outer wall of the cavity (11). When the mold is opened on the injection molding machine, as shown in FIG. 1A, the slide sleeve (110) moves downward in the vertical direction of the container to be molded to form the container bottom wall. A gap (111) is formed at the inner peripheral edge of the cavity wall. The lower end of the in-mold label for the peripheral wall (310) is inserted into this gap, and the in-mold label for the peripheral wall (310) is temporarily attached to the cavity wall surface forming the container peripheral wall of the female mold (100). At the same time, the bottom wall in-mold label (320) is vacuum-fixed and attached to the cavity wall surface forming the female container bottom wall. Simultaneously with the mold clamping, as shown in FIG. 1 (b), the upper end surface of the slide sleeve (110) is moved to the cavity wall surface position forming the bottom wall of the container, and the in-mold label (310) for the peripheral wall is moved. The lower end surface position is set to the cavity wall surface position that forms the bottom wall of the container, and the in-mold label for the peripheral wall is vacuum fixed to the cavity wall surface, and then the molten resin is injected into the cavity (11) from the gate (101). At the same time as molding, the in-mold labels for the peripheral wall and the bottom wall are fused and integrated with the outer surface of the container to produce a cup-shaped container with in-mold labels without legs.
[0010]
The gap formed in the inner peripheral edge of the cavity wall forming the container bottom wall is provided so that w ≦ 2t, where w is the width in the left-right direction of the gap and t is the thickness of the in-mold label for the peripheral wall. Good. If the width of the gap is too wide, it is difficult to regulate the position of the lower end of the label.
[0011]
Further, as shown in FIG. 1A, a convex protrusion (102) having a gate (101) at the center is formed at the center of the cavity wall surface forming the female cup-shaped container bottom wall. When an annular vacuum slit (103) is formed within 10 mm from the outer periphery of the convex protrusion, an in-mold label (320) for the bottom wall having a through hole (321) at the center position shown in FIG. 2 (b) is inserted. When it does, the position shift by the fluid pressure of the molten resin at the time of shaping | molding of a container can be prevented. If the vacuum slit position is set to 10 mm or more from the outer periphery of the convex protrusion, misalignment tends to occur.
[0012]
When a cup-shaped container with a legless in-mold label is produced using the injection mold of the present invention, the bottom end of the peripheral sleeve in-mold label forms the bottom wall of the container at the top end surface of the slide sleeve when the mold is clamped. Since the position of the cavity wall surface is surely restricted, the lower end of the in-mold label for the peripheral wall is rolled by the flow of the molten resin injected from the gate, and the molten resin does not go around the label.
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
Using the injection mold of the present invention, in-mold labels for peripheral walls and bottom walls are inserted into the mold in advance and injection-molded. Even in cup-shaped containers without legs, they melt outside the in-mold labels. It is possible to stably produce a cup-shaped container with an in-mold label having a good appearance and characteristics suitable for the purpose of use without the resin turning.
