Description

本発明は、アスファルトルーフィング被覆用の耐火特性を備えた複合支持体に関する。
アスファルトルーフィング被覆用の支持体を作るため、ポリエステルなどの化学繊維材の中に不織布被覆を使用することが知られている。
当該支持体を強化繊維、特にイタリアの特許1237149号に記載のとおりガラス繊維、から成る2層の不織布層を用いて得ることもまた公知である。
EP66724号は、2層の不織布層をガラスフィルムの中間挿入物との協同であることを教示する。このフィルムは、火が発生して屋根を覆ったときの火炎及びアスファルトの漏洩に対するバリアを作る役目を有する。
しかし、複合支持体の製造段階及びアスファルト含浸段階において、不織布層とガラスフィルムの寸法差の度合いが異なるため、同フィルムの中にクラックや亀裂が発生し、これが支持体の耐火特性を無効にすることが見出された。
前述の先行技術の状態に鑑み、本発明の目的は、既知技術の欠陥を未然に防ぐことの出来るアスファルトルーフィング被覆用の耐火特性を備えた複合支持体を提供することにある。
本発明によると、合成繊維不織布材質マットの第1層と第2層、及び前記層の間に挿入されたガラスフィルムを含み、前記第1マット層と第2マット層の間に縦方向を指向した複数の強化ガラス繊維を含むアスファルトルーフィング被覆用の複合支持体を用いることにより当該目的が達成される。
本発明により、既知の製品に比較し火炎に対し大きい耐性を与えるアスファルトルーフィング被覆用複合支持体を作ることが可能になる。
事実ガラス繊維は、支持体の製造段階及びアスファルト含浸段階の双方において、ガラスフィルムに比し不織布層の伸びが小さいので、その結果ガラスフィルムのクラックや亀裂の発生に、より強い抵抗力が生じ、同じくその結果により耐火特性が改良される、ことを保証する。
本発明の特徴と利点は、非限定例として添付図面に示した実施例の以下の詳細説明から明らかになるであろう。
図1に概略を示したところにより、とりわけポリエステルポリマで作られる不織布第1層1を、第1押出しヘッドAによりコンベヤベルト3の上に押し出す。
複数の縦方向強化ガラス繊維4とガラスフィルム6を、不織布層1の上に重ね合わせる。
詳細には、前記強化ガラス繊維4は、適切な牽引手段(不図示)により、コイル5から巻き戻される。一方、ガラスフィルム6はコイル8から巻き戻される。
既述のグループの上に、前と同じ材料で作った不織布第2層7を、第2押出しヘッドBにより押出して、配置する。
こうして、図2に示すように、強化ガラス繊維4により縦方向に強化されたガラスフィルム6が2つの不織布層1と7の内側に配置される複合支持体9が作られる。
強化ガラス繊維4の存在は、複合支持体の製造段階及びアスファルト含浸段階の双方において、層1と7が伸びないことを保証しそれにより、ガラスフィルム6のクラック又は亀裂を防止する。
これは、発熱アスファルトがガラスフィルム6のクラック又は亀裂の間から漏洩しないこと、したがって火炎が建物内に伝搬しないことを保証する。
したがって、こうして作られた製品の品質は、効果的な耐火性バリアを備えることが出来る。
加えて、本発明は、強化ガラス繊維4が層1及び7を作る化学物質のストレスを防止するので、アスファルト含浸段階において高温でも加工することが出来ることに注目しなければならない。
本発明に記載の複合支持体の製造段階の実施例の概略図を示す。 本発明に記載の複合支持体を横断面で示す。

Claims (2)

  1. 合成繊維不織布材質マットの第1層(1)と第2層(7)と、前記層(1、7)の間に介在されるガラスフィルム(6)とを含むアスファルトルーフィング被覆用複合支持体であって、前記第1マット層(1)と第2マット層(7)との間に、縦方向を指向した複数の強化ガラス繊維(4)を更に含むことを特徴とする複合支持体。
  2. 前記第1マット層(1)と第2マット層(5)がポリエステルポリマの押出し加工により製造されることを特徴とする請求項1の複合支持体。
