Description
The present invention relates to a pedestrian notification device that is mounted on a vehicle and alerts a pedestrian.
Conventionally, there is one that detects the presence of a person and irradiates a spotlight by following the movement of a moving person (see Patent Document 1). According to this technology, it is possible to provide a moving body tracking spotlight control device suitable for crime prevention applications that tracks a moving body and emits a spotlight.

A color detection unit that selects a color different from the color of the pedestrian detected by the color detection unit as an irradiation color of the electromagnetic wave marker, and an electromagnetic wave marker of the irradiation color selected by the color selection unit There is provided a pedestrian notification device including an irradiation control unit that irradiates a pedestrian whose position is detected by a pedestrian detection unit.
Thereby, the pedestrian alerting | reporting apparatus which alert | reports a pedestrian presence and a pedestrian's position to a user rapidly can be provided.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

The
FIG. 2 shows a block configuration of the
The irradiation means 2 of this embodiment irradiates an electromagnetic wave marker (irradiation light). As shown in FIG. 2, the irradiation unit 2 of the present embodiment includes a
The
The direction in which the white light is projected is not particularly limited, but is preferably lower (ground side) than the horizontal direction. Thereby, according to the distance of the own vehicle and the pedestrian 3, white light can be projected only to the pedestrian 3 located within a predetermined distance. In other words, the color detection process can be performed only for the pedestrian 3 to which the white light is projected, that is, the pedestrian 3 existing at a position close to the own vehicle. The ON / OFF timing of the
The
Specifically, the
The color specifying function 221 decomposes the detected color, Munsell color system, Oswalt color system, CIE color system, XYZ color system, RGB color system, UCS color system, LAB color system, UVW The color code of the detected color is specified using a method for specifying the color system, the L * a * b * color system, and other colors.
The color calculation function 222 calculates the color code of the irradiation light irradiated toward the pedestrian 3 based on the specified color code. The color calculation function 222 calculates a color that is different from the specified color, a color that is not similar to the specified color, or a color that has a relationship between the specified color and a complementary color. Specifically, the color calculation function 222 calculates a color having a color code different from the color code of the specified color as an “irradiation color different from the specified color”, and the color code of the specified color and the color difference are predetermined. A function that calculates a color that is greater than or equal to the value (a color difference is large) as an “irradiation color with low similarity to the specified color” and the color code of the specified color using a predetermined arithmetic expression. Function of “irradiation color of complementary color and complementary color”. Incidentally, the arithmetic expression for obtaining the color difference and the arithmetic expression for obtaining the complementary color are not particularly limited, and those that are normally used can be used. Note that the threshold for determining color similarity is not particularly limited, and can be set based on data based on experiments or the like. The color calculation function 222 of this embodiment calculates a color with low similarity using the Munsell color system of the Munsell color system. This process will be described in detail later.
The
The
The operation of the
FIG. 3 is a flowchart for explaining a basic control procedure of the
In S10, the present system is activated in response to an activation input (system on) of a system switch (not shown). In S20, it is determined whether or not a system switch end input (system off) has been made. If an end command is input, the process ends. If no end command is input, the process proceeds to S30.
In S30, the
In S60, the
When the distance from the own vehicle to the pedestrian 3 is far to some extent, the irradiation light from the
The relationship between the distance between the
In subsequent S90, the color detection camera of the
In the next S100, the
The
Following the detection S90 of the color of the pedestrian 3, the irradiation color selection process S100 is started. First, the
An overview of Munsell's hue circle will be given here. A schematic diagram of Munsell's hue circle is shown in FIG. Munsell's hue ring is a kind of color system, and is a display method of colors classified by a predetermined identifier based on the three attributes of color, hue, brightness, and saturation. As shown in FIG. 6, red purple 100, red 101,
In the present embodiment, red 101,
In the present embodiment, red 101,
The
Subsequently, the irradiation
In S121, the timer value T is incremented by one. In subsequent S122, it is determined whether or not the timer value T is 10 or more. When T is 10 or more (Tn ≧ 10) (yes in S122), the irradiation color is continuously changed in the order of red 101,
On the other hand, if T is less than 10 (T <10) in S122, since one second or more has not elapsed, the color selected in S100 is stored, and the process returns to S20. In this way, by periodically changing the irradiation color when one second has elapsed, the user can be notified of the presence of the pedestrian 3 and can be alerted. Thereby, a user's attention can be drawn rather than irradiating the pedestrian 3 for a long time with the same irradiation light.
In this embodiment, as long as the state where the pedestrian 3 exists continues, the
The
In S130, the
The
According to the

Since the
Since the
Since the
In addition, by projecting white light downward (on the ground side) from the horizontal direction, it is possible to control the range in which the white light reaches, and it is white for pedestrians within a predetermined distance from the host vehicle. Can be illuminated by light. As a result, pedestrians far away from the host vehicle can be excluded from notification targets, and only pedestrians present within a predetermined distance from the host vehicle can be set as notification targets. That is, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of notifications with low necessity and to perform only notifications with high necessity.
As mentioned above, although this embodiment demonstrated the pedestrian alerting |
