本発明は、飲料、洗剤、化粧品等の液状物を収納する超薄肉プラスチック製ボトル型容器を輸送するための輸送方法および輸送用具に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
現在、飲料、洗剤、化粧品等の液状の製品を収納する容器として、いわゆるペットボトル等のプラスチック製ボトル型容器が広く用いられている。

こうしたプラスチック製ボトル型容器は、内容物が充填されていない空の状態であっても、常に一定の形状、すなわち内容物が充填されている時と同じ形状を保っているため、容器自体の輸送や廃棄の際にもかさばったものになってしまうと言う問題がある。

そのため、容器を極く薄肉化した超薄肉プラスチック製ボトル容器が利用されつつある。この超薄肉プラスチック製ボトル型容器は、空の状態では容易につぶす、捻る等して容積を減少(減容)させることができるという特徴を有する。そのため、容器自体の輸送や廃棄の際にはかさばらないと言う利点がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の目的は、上述したような超薄肉プラスチック製ボトル型容器の特徴を利用して、この容器を効率的に輸送するための輸送方法および輸送用具を提案するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明による方法は、ボトルネック部に鍔部を有する超薄肉プラスチック製ボトル型容器の輸送に際し、前記ボトル型容器を変形させてその容積を減少させた後、軟質材料からなる断面略C字型の収納レールに前記ボトル型容器の前記鍔部を掛合させて当該ボトル型容器を多数収納し、次いで円柱状の支持体に前記ボトル型容器を収納した前記収納レールを巻きつけることにより、前記ボトル型容器を輸送することを特徴とする。

すなわち本発明による方法においては、超薄肉プラスチック製ボトル型容器を減容させて小さくした状態で、収納レールに多数収納し、この収納レールを円柱状の支持体に多数巻きつけて輸送する。それによって一度に大量の容器を輸送することが可能となり、ボトル型容器の製造者から使用者(飲料メーカー等)への配送や、使用後の廃棄のための輸送が効率的に行うことができるようになり、コスト低減にも寄与できる。また本方法においては、ボトル型容器を収納した収納レールを支持体に巻きつけた後、これら全体をシート材で覆っても良い。それによって、輸送時にボトル型容器を雨や埃等から保護することができる。

以下、図面を参照して本発明の好適な実施形態について説明する。

図1〜図3は、本発明による輸送用具の一実施形態を示すものである。図1に示すように、本輸送用具1は、基台2、この基台2上に設けた円柱状の支持体3および収納レール4を具え、収納レール4には、超薄肉プラスチック製ボトル型容器5を多数収納している。なお、図1では、収納レール4は支持体3に弦巻状に巻きつけられている。
