Description

The present invention relates to a method for faithfully reproducing an old picture such as a hand-drawn picture decorated with a metal foil such as a gold foil.

Cultural heritage such as samurai paintings, folding screen paintings and murals are precious assets for mankind and should be left to future generations. However, they are becoming obsolete year by year, and their protection is now an important issue.

As one of those protection methods, a method is used in which a replica of the actual product is produced, the actual product and the replicated product are replaced, and the actual product is stored in a storage or the like.

As a conventional copying method, digital image data of a cultural heritage pattern is acquired by an image input means such as a high-precision digital camera or a large scanner, and a copy is printed by printing the pattern on paper based on the digital image data. There is a method to manufacture, but for the pattern with metal foil, the color of the metal foil could not be expressed only with ink. Therefore, for those decorated with gold leaf, there is also a method for expressing and coloring the color of gold foil over a long period of time by pasting gold foil on paper and performing offset printing on it. (See Patent Document 1).
JP 2001-96885 A

However, in this duplicating method, various colors are merely expressed by ink on a uniform metal gloss metal foil affixed to paper, and the metal gloss is not diverse. Therefore, the portion expressing the gold foil color gives a flat impression without a three-dimensional effect compared to the real thing, and it has been difficult to faithfully reproduce the pattern of the old painting to be reproduced.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to solve the problems of the prior art by providing a method of faithfully reproducing an old picture decorated with a metal foil such as a gold foil.

In order to solve the above problems, the first invention is:

(C) In a portion to be expressed in a metal foil color having a high metallic luster with reference to the color tone of the old painting to be duplicated in an area in which the metal foil color in the pattern printed on paper is to be expressed, Applying a mixture of an adhesive and a metallic glossy metal foil color powder,
(D) applying a first metal mud having a metal foil color having a metallic luster lower than that of the metal foil color to the entire region where the metal foil color is to be expressed in the pattern printed on paper;
(E) In a region where the first metal mud is directly overcoated on the pattern printed on paper, the color is expressed in a metal foil color having a lower metallic luster with reference to the color tone of the old painting to be reproduced. Scraping the first metal mud in a portion to be exposed to expose the pattern underneath;
(F) In a region where the mixture and the first metal mud are overcoated on the picture printed on paper, a metal foil color having a high metallic luster is obtained with reference to the color tone of the old painting to be reproduced A reproduction of an antique painting decorated with metal foil, characterized in that, in a portion to be represented, the first metal mud is scraped off to expose the mixture underneath The method is structured.

Here, the metal mud means a metal powder dissolved in an adhesive such as glue liquid. Further, in this configuration, steps (A) to (D) are executed in this order, and then step (F) is executed after completion of step (E), or step (E) after completion of step (F). Is executed.

In the above configuration,
(G) After the steps (A) to (F) are completed, the color is already expressed with reference to the color tone of the old painting to be duplicated in the region where the first metal mud that has been overcoated remains. It is preferable to further include a step of further applying a second metal mud having a lower concentration than the first metal mud on a portion to be expressed in a metal foil color having a metallic luster different from the metallic luster.

In order to solve the above problems, the second invention
(A) a step of acquiring digital image data of an old picture to be duplicated decorated with a metal foil using an image input means;
(B) based on the acquired digital image data, printing the pattern of the old picture on paper;
(C) In a portion to be expressed in a metal foil color having a high metallic luster with reference to the color tone of the old painting to be duplicated in an area in which the metal foil color in the pattern printed on paper is to be expressed, Applying a mixture of an adhesive and a metallic glossy metal foil color powder,
(H) The second adhesive is applied to the entire region where the metal foil color in the pattern printed on paper is to be expressed, and a metal foil color having a metallic luster lower than the metal foil color powder is applied thereon. Applying a first metal foil having:
(I) In the area where the first metal foil is directly pasted on the pattern printed on paper, the color of the old painting to be reproduced is referred to and expressed in a metal foil color with a lower metallic luster. Scraping the first metal foil at the power portion to expose the pattern underneath;
(J) Refer to the color tone of the old painting to be duplicated in the region where the mixture is overcoated on the picture printed on paper and the first metal foil is further applied thereon. The portion to be expressed in a high gloss metal foil color is composed of scraping the first metal foil and exposing the mixture under the first metal foil. This constitutes a method of reproducing the used old picture.
Further, in this configuration, steps (A) to (H) are executed in this order, and then step (J) is executed after step (I) is completed, or step (I) is completed after step (J) is completed. Is executed.

In the above structure, the second adhesive may be applied by application or may be applied by printing.

In the above configuration, the paper is preferably Japanese paper. Furthermore,
(K) After the completion of the step (B) and before the execution of the step (C), a step of applying a bleeding preventing agent to the entire region where the metal foil color in the pattern printed on the paper should be expressed. Preferably, the bleeding inhibitor is a cinnabar liquid. Here, the cinnabar liquid means a solution obtained by adding alum to the glue liquid.

Furthermore, in the above configuration,
(C ′) Instead of the step (C), a metal foil having a high metallic luster with reference to the color tone of the old painting to be reproduced in the area where the metal foil color in the pattern printed on paper is to be expressed You may have the step which apply | coats the 1st adhesive agent to the part which should be expressed in color, and affixes the 2nd metal foil which has a metal foil color with a high metallic luster on it.

Further, the metal foil may be a gold foil, and the metal foil color powder may be composed of titanium and mica.

According to the duplication method of the present invention, an old picture pattern to be duplicated is printed based on digital image data acquired by an image input means such as a digital camera or a scanner. Since the region representing the metal foil color is formed on the accurately printed pattern, the actual pattern can be accurately reproduced.

In addition, according to the duplication method of the present invention, since a plurality of regions having metallic foil colors with different metallic luster are provided on the printed pattern, various conventional metallic lusters can be expressed in various ways, and there is a three-dimensional effect. It is possible to produce a replica that has a natural metal foil color and is true to the real thing.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a plan view showing an image of an old painting to be reproduced, decorated with gold leaf, printed on paper, obtained in the initial stage of the embodiment according to the present invention, and FIG. It is a chart which shows the level of the metallic luster of the gold foil color which should be expressed, determined based on the pattern of the power painting. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line XX in the actual copy corresponding to FIG.

[Embodiment 1 (when using gold mud)]
As a first embodiment, a method for replicating an old picture decorated with gold leaf using gold mud will be described. FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating the duplication method according to the first embodiment.
First, digital image data of an old picture to be duplicated is acquired by a high-precision digital camera or scanner (S1 in FIG. 4). Next, based on the acquired digital image data, an old picture pattern to be reproduced on the Japanese paper 6 is color-printed (S2). Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the printed picture 7 is divided into a region 1 that should not represent the gold foil color and a region 2 that should represent the gold foil color.

Next, in the entire region 2 where the gold foil color is to be expressed, a cinnabar liquid (a solution obtained by adding alum to the glue liquid) is applied to prevent bleeding (S3). Then, in a region 3 (region shown in white in the figure) to be expressed in a gold foil color with a high metallic luster shown in FIG. 2, a gold pearl with a high metallic luster (a mica-plated titanium) and a first The mixture 8 with the adhesive is applied (S4). Here, the level of the metallic luster to be expressed is determined by referring to the color tone of the old painting to be reproduced.

(S5)。 After the applied gold pearl mixture 8 is completely dried, the first gold mud 9 having a metallic luster lower than that of the gold pearl mixture 8 (the one in which gold powder is dissolved in a glue liquid) is formed in the entire region 2 where the gold foil color is to be expressed. Is applied (S5).

After the applied first gold mud 9 is completely dried, the region 3 (region shown in white in the drawing) to be expressed in a gold foil color with a high metallic luster and a gold foil color with a lower metallic luster shown in FIG. In the region 5 to be expressed in (region shown in dark gray in the figure), the first gold mud 9 is scraped off using cotton, cloth or the like to which dredged sand liquid is adhered, and the gold pearl mixture 8 below Then, the printed picture 7 is exposed (S6). Here, the 1st gold mud 9 which remains without being scraped will express the area | region 4 (area | region shown with the light gray in the figure) which should be expressed by the gold foil color with a low metallic luster.

As described above, since the gold foil color to be expressed is expressed by the gold pearl mixture 8, the first gold mud 9, and the printed pattern 7 having different metallic luster, compared with the case where the metallic luster is uniform. A natural metal foil color with a three-dimensional effect can be reproduced, and a replica that is faithful to the real product can be produced.

Furthermore, when it is necessary to express the metallic luster in various ways, the second gold mud having a concentration lower than that of the first gold mud 9 may be overcoated on the first gold mud 9 that remains without being scraped off. Good. Thereby, a region having a metallic luster different from the existing metallic luster can be added, and further various metallic luster can be expressed.

[Embodiment 2 (when using gold leaf)]
Next, as a second embodiment, a method for replicating an old picture decorated with a gold foil using a gold foil will be described. FIG. 5 is a flowchart illustrating the duplication method according to the second embodiment.
In addition, since it is the same as that of the above-mentioned Embodiment 1 until the step (S4 in FIG. 5) of apply | coating the gold pearl mixture 8, it demonstrates per subsequent step (S5-).

After the applied gold pearl mixture 8 is completely dried, the second adhesive is applied to the whole area 2 where the gold foil color is to be expressed by coating, and the metal luster having a lower metallic luster than the gold pearl mixture 8 is applied thereon. 1 gold foil 9 'is affixed (S5). Here, the second adhesive is preferably a glue liquid.

In addition, when applying the second adhesive, based on the original digital image data used for color printing of the old picture pattern, the gold color area in the old picture pattern is determined using a known image processing program. A second adhesive may be applied on the area by screen printing, offset printing, flexographic printing or gravure printing. In this case, according to a known image processing program, for example, it is detected by comparing the color component value of each pixel in the original digital image data with a predetermined threshold or at the time of acquiring the original digital image data. By comparing the light reflectance of each pixel with a predetermined threshold value, the gold foil color region in the pattern of the old picture is specified.
According to this configuration, the second adhesive can be automatically and accurately applied efficiently. In this case, the second adhesive is preferably a known printing adhesive such as an acrylic resin.

(S6)。 After the applied second adhesive is completely dried, the region 3 (region shown in white in the figure) to be expressed in the gold foil color with a high metallic luster shown in FIG. In the region 5 to be expressed (the region shown in dark gray in the figure), the first gold foil 9 'is scraped off using cotton or cloth to which cinnabar liquid is adhered, and the gold pearl mixture 8 below is scraped off. Then, the printed picture 7 is exposed (S6).

Also in the second embodiment, as in the first embodiment, a replica faithful to the real object can be manufactured.

As mentioned above, although embodiment of this invention was described, demonstrating a specific example, this invention is not limited to these specific examples. For example, in both the above-described embodiments, the pattern of the old picture to be duplicated is printed on the Japanese paper 6. However, any printable paper may be used, and paper that can faithfully represent the real thing may be selected as appropriate. The printing may be general color printing such as an inkjet method, an offset method, and a screen method. The ink used for printing preferably has water resistance.

Moreover, although the cinnabar liquid was applied for preventing bleeding, other general bleeding preventing agents may be used. Furthermore, it may be omitted as appropriate according to the paper and printing ink used.

Also, when determining the level of metallic luster to be expressed, if direct observation is not possible or judgment is difficult, the metallic luster of the acquired old image digital image data to be duplicated, such as by increasing the contrast, is used. Image processing may be performed so as to make it easy to visually determine the height, and the determination may be made based on the image processing.

Further, the gold pearl mixture 8 is used to express a region having a gold foil color with a high metallic luster, but the second gold foil 8 'may be used as long as it has a high metallic luster. Further, the first adhesive applied to the powder 8 (or the second gold foil 8 ′) having a gold foil color with a high metallic luster is applied to the first gold mud 9 (or the second gold mud 9) which is scraped off after being applied or pasted thereon. Adhesion stronger than the adhesive (or the second adhesive) such as glue applied to the first gold mud 9 (or the first gold foil 9 ') so as not to be removed together with the first gold foil 9') It is preferable to have power.

Further, when forming a gold foil color region having a different metallic luster, the hue may be changed along with the metallic luster according to the color tone of the old painting to be reproduced. For example, for a region that should be expressed in a gold foil color with a high metallic luster, a gold foil color powder having a high metallic luster and a yellow tint is applied, and for a region that should be expressed in a gold foil color with a low metallic gloss, For example, gold mud having a low metallic luster or a red color is applied. Thereby, it is possible to more faithfully reproduce the old painting to be duplicated decorated with gold leaf.
