Description
指紋検出用の粉末としては、顔料粉末を撥水性物質で表面処理してなるもの等が開示されている(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。
また、このような指紋検出用粉末の検体への撒布は、ブラシ等により行われていた。
本発明は、上記従来の技術の問題点を克服し、細心の注意、熟練した技能を必要とせず、指紋隆線を壊さず、水漏れ検体にも適用可能であり、暗色の検体にも適用可能な指紋検出用粉末および指紋検出方法を提供しようとするものである。
(1)棒磁石に刷毛状に付着させ、指紋隆線上に付着させることにより指紋を検出する方法に用いられる指紋検出用粉末であって、表面に金属銀被覆層を有する白色磁性粉体からなることを特徴とする指紋検出用粉末。
(2)さらに白色顔料を含有することを特徴とする前記(1)の指紋検出用粉末。
(3)棒磁石に、表面に金属銀被覆層を有する白色磁性粉体からなる粉末を刷毛状に付着させ、該粉末を指紋隆線上に付着させる指紋検出方法。
(4)白色磁性粉体からなる粉末が、さらに白色顔料を含有することを特徴とする前記(3)の指紋検出方法。
該白色磁性粉体の粒径としては、特に限定されないが、D50径で1〜100μmが好ましい。
上記のような白色磁性粉体としては、例えば、特開平3−274278号、国際公開第96/28269号パンフレット、特開平7−90310号、特開2000−313823号等の各公報に開示のものが、好適に用いることができる。
水1000mlにブドウ糖45gと酒石酸4.5g、エタノール100mlを溶解し、これを1週間室温で保存し還元液とした。硝酸銀7.0gを水120mlに溶解し、28%アンモニア水溶液(以下アンモニア水溶液)を6.0g加え褐色の沈殿を完全に溶解させる。さらに1規定水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を125ml添加し、その際生じた黒色の沈殿が無くなるようにアンモニア水溶液を6.0g添加し銀液とした。
膜形成方法:
チタンエトキシド15gをエタノール300ミリリットルに溶解した溶液中に金属被覆粉体A85gを加え十分攪拌する。なお、使用するエタノールは1昼夜以上モレキュラーシーブ3A1/8で十分脱水する。次に、この溶液を攪拌しながら、予め用意して置いたエタノール300gに対し蒸留水7.5gを混合した含水アルコール溶液を徐々に滴下する。滴下終了後、5時間攪拌し、アルコール溶液を濾別し真空乾燥機で室温で8時間真空乾燥する。乾燥して被覆粉体Bを得る。被覆粉体Bの全TiO2 量は5gであり、それから予想される膜厚は0.042μmである。
比較のため、原料のシリカコート板状鉄粉について測定した明度L*は50であり、被覆を施すことにより、明度が大幅に向上した。
また、得られた白色磁性粉体である金属被覆粉体Cの79.6kA/m(1kOe)での質量磁化は60A・m2/kg(emu/g)であった。
得られた本発明の指紋検出用粉末を、(株)ピー・エス・インダストリー製の簡易型マグナブラシ(PS1008)に刷毛状に付着させ、下記の暗色検体上(乾燥もしくは水濡れ検体)に付けられた指紋の隆線上に付着させた。

・皮革製品
財布(黒色・茶色)、ベルト(黒色)、靴(黒色)
・ゴム製品
ゴム板(黒色、天然ゴム・合成ゴム)
本発明の指紋検出用粉末および方法で検出した指紋は、暗色の検体であっても、容易にかつ明瞭にその紋様が確認できた。
Claims (4)
- 棒磁石に刷毛状に付着させ、指紋隆線上に付着させることにより指紋を検出する方法に用いられる指紋検出用粉末であって、表面に金属銀被覆層を有する白色磁性粉体からなることを特徴とする指紋検出用粉末。
- さらに白色顔料を含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の指紋検出用粉末。
- 棒磁石に、表面に金属銀被覆層を有する白色磁性粉体からなる粉末を刷毛状に付着させ、該粉末を指紋隆線上に付着させる指紋検出方法。
- 白色磁性粉体からなる粉末が、さらに白色顔料を含有することを特徴とする請求項3記載の指紋検出方法。
