かかる目的を達成するために本発明の構成は、図1〜図3に示すように、車内側壁部9bと車外側壁部9aとその両者を結ぶ基底部により構成され、ドアガラスGに摺接しこれを保持する摺接リップ10,13を有するドアグラスラン9の取付構造であって、ドアグラスラン9を装着するドアに、天井部4と内壁部5と外壁部6とからなる凹溝状で、ドアグラスラン9が取り付けられる取付部を形成し、取付部の天井部4と内壁部5を、ドアアウタパネル2とドアインナパネル3で形成し、取付部の外壁部6を、ドアアウタパネル2及びドアインナパネル3とは別体で、天井部4のボディB側に固定された基端部7aと基端部7aから下方に折曲された下垂部7bを有するモール部材7の、下垂部7bで形成し、モール部材7の下垂部7b外面をドアグラスラン9の車外側壁部9aの車外側に設けた外観リップ11で覆い、外観リップ11の先端部11aをモール部材7の下垂部7b外面に凹設した係止溝12に挿入し係止して成ることを特徴とするドアグラスランの取付構造であり、また、他の構成例として、モール部材7に凹設された係止溝15内に、鉤状突起16を形成すると共に、係止溝15に挿入される外観リップ17の先端部に、鉤状突起16に噛み合わせるための鉤状係合部18を形成したものである。
