車体に取り付けられている錠前の開閉操作とスタンド操作を別個に行うようにした従来の自転車には、操作に煩雑性がある。そのために、自転車用錠前の施錠開錠操作とスタンド操作とが同時にできるようにした自転車用錠を開発することが解決すべき課題となっていた。

そこで本発明は、上記の課題を解決するために、自転車のシートパイプに長さ方向に沿って固定され、中間部に自転車の後部タイヤをロックするサークル錠を一体に備えたケースと、一側にラック部を具え、操作部をケース外に臨出させてケース内に昇降自在に嵌装された施錠操作ロッドと、開放されたケースの下端部から昇降自在に嵌合し、ケースとの間に張設した牽引ばねに牽引されて上記施錠操作ロッドとともに常時上昇方向に付勢されつつ、操作ロッドの下端部に接続されたリンク部材と、リンク部材との間に偏心ばねを張設して、上端部の若干の揺動を自在にしてリンク部材の下端部に枢着されたスタンド部材とを備え、上記施錠操作ロッドの下降操作とともに下降するリンク部材に上記スタンド部材をケースの下端から押し出させてシートパイプの下方に接地させるようにする一方、上記ケース内に上記操作ロッドの一側のラック部と噛合するピニオンを回転自在に設け、このピニオンを上記サークル錠内に回動自在に備えられた円弧形の錠杆の下縁に設けたラック部に噛合させることにより、上記施錠操作ロッドおよびスタンドロッドの昇降とサークル錠の円弧形の錠杆の往復回動を互いに連動させるように構成し、かつ、スタンド部材の復位と錠杆の開錠を上記サークル錠のロックにより保持させ、該サークル錠に備えたキーの開錠操作によりそれぞれ開錠位置、非使用位置に復位させるように構成した自転車用錠を提供するものである。

上記のように構成した本発明によれば、自転車の施錠開錠と同時にスタンド立てと復位ができる。
すなわち、図2に示すように自転車のシートパイプに固定したケースの側方に突出している施錠操作ロッドを牽引ばねに抗して押し下げると、下降するリンク部材に押し出されてスタンド部材が共に下降し、その下降途中で偏心ばねに作用されるスタンド部材がリンク部材との枢着点を支点にして若干傾斜してシートパイプの下方に接地する。一方、施錠操作ロッドの押し下げと共にラック部と噛合するピニオンが回転し、ラック部を介してサークル錠に嵌装されている円弧形の錠杆をその復元ばねに抗して図示の施錠位置へ前進させる。施錠位置へ前進した錠杆はサークル錠に備えられている錠機構の作動により自動的に施錠状態をロックされる。

本発明に係る自転車用錠は、図示のように、自転車Bのシートパイプbに固定されるケース1と、ケース内に昇降自在に嵌装される施錠操作ロッド2と、施錠操作ロッド2の下端部に、若干の揺動を自在にして、リンク部材3を介して連結されてシートパイプbの下方に伸縮するように備えられたスタンド部材4と、スタンド部材傾斜用の偏心ばね5ならびにケース1の中間に一体に備えられて自転車の後部タイヤtを施錠するように備えられたサークル錠6とを有する。

図2に示すように、ケース1はシートパイプbの長さ方向に沿い、下端を適宜に広くして開放した筒形をなし、中間にほぼ直角にサークル錠6を一体に備えている。
施錠操作ロッド2は、上端の側方に延設した操作部7をケース外に臨出させ、断面コ字形に形成されて角形のケース内に嵌合し、一方の側縁に設けたラック部8をケース内に回転自在に軸受されたピニオン9と噛合させ、ラック部8は施錠操作ロッド2の昇降に従動させて該ピニオン9を正逆に回転する。

また、この施錠操作ロッド2は、一端をケース1の上部裏面に取り付け他端をリンク部材3の上部に取り付けた牽引ばね10の付勢により常時上方に向けて牽引されている。

以上のように、施錠操作、開錠操作と共にスタンド立てと非使用状態への復帰がそれぞれ一つの操作で同時できるようにした本発明によれば、自転車の使用がより一層簡便になり、快適になる。また、スタンドの位置が後輪からシートパイプの位置に移動することにより、安定した自転車の停め方ができるとともに施錠中はペダルの回転も不能になる。また、非使用中はスタンドがケース内に引き上げられて走行の邪魔にならない。
