Some conventional passenger/freight vehicles have two or more rows of front seats B and rear seats C arranged parallel to the driver's seat A in the rear compartment behind the driver's seat A. Seat B fixed to the floor (Figure 1)
There are also models with the driver's seat A that can be folded towards the rear (Fig. 2), but in both the former and latter types, the rear seat C has its back A placed on the seat B, and the back It has a structure in which the legs (C) can be folded toward the bottom surface (D) of the seat (B), and the front legs (E) are rotatably pivoted to the floor. The rear seat C was folded up by tilting the seat B along with the front legs E toward the rear of the front seat B, but the distance between the overlapped seat B and back A could approach the front direction, that is, the front seat B side. is limited to the length between the bottom surface D of the front leg E of the seat B and the axis G and C of the floor, so if the front seat B is a fixed type (Fig. 3), the rear seat folded C is only close to the back of front seat B, and if front seat B is a folding, rotating and standing type (Figure 4), front seat B and rear seat C are
However, this space is insufficient for cargo storage, and even though the rear seat C is swiveled up, there is not as much space behind the rear seat C as expected. There was a problem that there was no continuous increase in luggage storage space.

When folding only the rear seat C (Fig. 17), push the lever 8 in the reclining mechanism D of the rear seat C (Fig. 9) forward against the elasticity of the spring 11, and then move the lever 8 around the shaft 9. When the engaging portion 8c is rotated forward, the engaging portion 8c is disengaged from the protrusion 10, and the back portion 37, together with the rotating plate 7, falls forward about the shaft 12 and the seat portion 36 is rotated forward.
Polymerized and folded on top. Next, the horizontal rod 51 of the rear leg 51
The pin 27 is rotated by rotating the handle 29 of the locking mechanism I provided in a so as to be parallel to the horizontal rod 51a, and the lock that intersects with the window hole 32 in the lock bracket 31 is removed. The locking mechanism I is released by rotating the piece 28 so that it is parallel to the window hole 32. (FIGS. 10 and 11) Then, the seat portion 36 with the back portion 37 overlapped thereon is rotated forward about the shaft 41 at the upper end of the front leg 40 to stand up. As shown in FIG. 14, as the seat 36 rotates and stands up, the bracket 39 and the stopper mechanism F also stand up, and the pin 43 of the stopper mechanism F is displaced onto the hole 42 at the upper end of the front leg 40.
The pin 43 is pushed into the cylinder 45 by the elasticity of the spring 44.
The tip 43b of the pin 43 is pushed out from the hole 42.
The seat portion 36 is fixed vertically to the front leg 40 (FIG. 16). Next, attach the rear legs 51 to the seat 3.
The back part 37 is brought close to the back part 5 of the front seat B together with the seat part 36, and in this state, the connecting rod 14 on the side of the back part 5 of the front seat B is rotated and bent. When the rotary plate 7 is tilted forward, the mating recess 14a is displaced through the notch 13d of the peripheral wall 13c of the cover 13 of the reclining mechanism D of the rear seat C, and the projection 10 appears at the rear of the cover 13. The seat part 36 and the back part 37 of the rear seat C which are engaged and bent are fixed to the back part 5 of the front seat B, and the floor surface where the rear seat C was provided is used as a cargo loading surface.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 19 and 20, the handle 29 of the locking mechanism I of the rear leg 51 of the rear seat C is rotated to unlock the rear leg 51 so that the rear leg 51 can be lifted off the floor 17. When the seat part 36 is rotated forward about the shaft 41 while the seat part 36 and the back part 37 are in a state where the user can sit without bending them, the bracket 39 is rotated together with the seat part 36.
The stopper mechanism F also rotates, and the pin 43 engages with the hole 42 by the elasticity of the spring 44, and the seat 36 is fixed in the vertical direction like the front leg 40.
During this time, the rear legs 51 are bent toward the bottom surface 36a of the seat portion 36. Next, the handles 29 of the left and right locking mechanisms H that fix the lower ends of the front legs 40 to the floor 17 are rotated to remove the locking pieces 28 from the lock bracket 31 and unlock the seat 36. When lifted upward, the front leg 40, secondary leg 47, outer link L 1 ,
The inner links L 2 are simultaneously displaced diagonally upward about the axes P 2 , P 4 , P 1 , and P 3 , and the outer links L 1 :Both the inner links L 2 and the front legs 40 stand upright above the mounting plate 48 . When the seat portion 36 is further moved forward, the outer link L 1 and the inner link L 2 are rotated forward about the axes P 1 and P 3 , and during this time the lower end of the front leg 40 is moved to the outer link.
L1 inner link L2 is bent while rotating around axes P2 and P4 , and outer and inner links L1 and L2 are bent at floor 1.
7, the front legs 40 stand upright on the floor 17 together with the seat 36. Therefore, when the front legs 40 are in the upright position, they lock into the window hole 32 of the lock bracket 31 that has been previously fixed on the floor 17. After fitting the locking piece 28 of the mechanism H, the handle 29 is rotated to lock the locking mechanism H and the lower end of the upright front leg 40 is fixed to the floor 17. Close to the bottom surface 4a of the seat portion 4 of the seat B, the back portion 37 is fixed horizontally above the front seat B with the back surface 37a facing upward. Then, the engagement recess 38a of the connecting rod 38 of the seat 36 of the rear seat C is engaged with the protrusion 10 exposed from the cover 13 of the reclining mechanism D of the front seat B, thereby connecting the front seat B and the rear seat C. do.

Next, if you want to return the rear seat C and the front seat B to their old positions, first remove the connecting rod 38, contrary to the above case.
Rotate the handle 29 of the lock mechanism H to unlock it,
When the locking piece 28 is removed from the window hole 32 of the lock bracket 31 and the entire rear seat C is lifted upward, the lower ends of the front legs 40 are centered around the axes P 2 and P 4 .
In addition, the outer and inner links L 1 and L 2 are rotated diagonally upward and rearward about the axes P 1 and P 3 to stand upright on the mounting plate 48, and when the rear seat C is further displaced rearward, the front legs 40
And the outer and inner links L 1 and L 2 are rotationally displaced diagonally downward and backward. When the outer and inner links L 1 and L 2 are parallel to the floor 17, the locking piece 28 of the locking mechanism H
passes through the window hole 32 of the rear lock bracket 31 and fits into the lock bracket 31, so the locking piece 28 is rotated by the handle 29 to lock the lock mechanism H, and the lower end of the front leg 40 and Internal and external links
L 1 and L 2 are fixed to the floor 17. Next, the front legs 40
Grasp the handle 46 of the stopper mechanism F at the upper end and push up against the elasticity of the spring 44 to remove the pin 43.
is removed from the hole 42, the seat 36 is rotated rearward together with the bracket 39 and the stopper mechanism F around the shaft 41, and at the same time, the rear leg 51 is extended to the floor 17 side, and the handle 29 of the lock mechanism I of the rear leg 51 is rotated. By turning and locking the rear legs 51 to fix the rear legs 51 to the floor 17, the rear seat C returns to its old position where it can be occupied. Then, for the front seat B, connect the connector 56b of the lock band 56 to the anchor plate 5 in the opposite way to when it is folded.
6d to release the connection between the front seat B and the outer frame 57, rotate the front legs 16 rearward about the shafts 20 and 21 at the upper and lower ends, and at the same time deploy the rear legs 22 to the floor 17 side, and lock the lock mechanism E. The locking piece 2 together with the handle 29
Turn 8 to lock the lock bracket 31, and then lock the rear leg 2.
2 is fixed to the floor 17, and the back part 5 is further pulled rearward around the shaft 12, so that the protrusion 10 of the rotating plate 7 moves to the lever 8.
By engaging with the engaging portion 8c, the back portion 5 is returned to its original position and is erected and fixed on the seat portion 4.

According to the present invention, when the rear compartment of the vehicle body is used as a luggage compartment, only the rear seats are folded toward the front seats and rotated to stand up, and the floor surface and space where the rear seats were installed are used for the rear seats. It can be used continuously with the floor and space at the rear (Figure 6), and if necessary, the front seats can be folded forward and the rear seats can be left upright against the seat without folding the back. The folded front seats are rotated to stand up, but the forward rotation of the rear seats is done via a four-bar link folding mechanism, so there is no unnecessary space between the rear seats and the front seats. The driver will stand up very close to the front seats (Figure 19), and the rear seats will rotate and stand up on the floor where the front seats were extended, so the front and rear seats will not be extended. Since the floor surface and space behind them can be used continuously with the floor surface and space behind them, the cargo loading space is significantly expanded, and the effect of increasing the cargo loading capacity due to the folding of the seats is large, making it possible to use a vehicle that can be used for both cargo and passenger purposes. The utility value as a material is significantly improved (Figure 7). In addition, since the back of the rear seat, which rotates upright, remains horizontal, it can be used as a barrier for loading luggage (Figure 19).

Furthermore, since the front legs of the rear seat and the floor are connected via the four-bar link bending mechanism, the lower ends of the front legs and the floor are connected to each other even during the displacement operation to rotate and raise the rear seat as shown in Figure 21. Since it is supported by two pivot points, the bottom of the front leg always remains horizontal to the floor (i.e., the front leg itself remains upright to the floor), and one of the front legs also The forward and backward rotation of the link relative to the floor can be performed reliably without shaking, and even in the link mechanism of the left and right front legs, due to the phase error in the trajectory when each link is displaced, one of the front legs may The left and right front legs can be operated smoothly and reliably while always remaining parallel to each other without causing any distortion that would cause the other front leg to move backward.

In addition, the link mechanism is performed only by the left and right outer links connected to the left and right front legs,
When lifting the rear seat while still seated and starting to rotate it, due to the relationship between the load on the rear seat and the position in which the rear seat is displaced diagonally upward, the load is applied to the front legs and outer links, causing the front legs to move outward. This creates a tendency for the link to bend forward about the axis at the rear end, and at the same time, there is a risk that the outer link itself, which rotates and stands up about the axis at the tip, may be twisted or distorted in the direction of rotation. In this case, the link mechanism is a four-bar link, and the inner link is arranged in parallel to the outer link, and the rear end of the inner link is rotatably connected to the secondary leg which is fixed to the front leg in parallel with the front leg. The inner link can be rotated and raised together with the link, and the shaft at the rear end of the inner link is extended over the outer link and is always in contact with the outer link to hold down the outer link. Twisting and distortion in the rotational direction caused by this movement are suppressed, and the rotational direction of the outer link can be kept normal and rotation can be performed reliably.
