上記課題を解決するため本願発明に係る自動2輪車のカウリング装置は、前車輪を操舵自在に枢支するヘッドパイプと、このヘッドパイプから後方へ延出してエンジンを支持するメインフレームと、前記ヘッドパイプの前方を覆うアッパーカウルと、このアッパーカウルの前面に設けた開口部に前面が臨むようにアッパーカウルの内側に配設されたヘッドライトと、を備えた自2輪車のカウリング装置において、前記アッパーカウルにその開口部下辺からアッパーカウルの内側を後方へ延出する仕切部を一体に設け、この仕切部と前記ヘッドライトの下面とにより、エンジンの吸気系へ通じる吸気通路を形成するとともに、この吸気通路に臨むヘッドライトの下面を上方へ凹となる凹部により形成したことを特徴とする。
