本発明は、壁面等の造営面に設けた埋込孔に配線器具を配設するための配線器具用プレートに関するものである。

従来、図7に示すように壁面等の造営面Wに埋込ボックス(スイッチボックス)41を埋設し、コンセント等の配線器具Cが着脱自在に取り付けられるプレート枠A’をボックスねじ40によって埋込ボックス41に取り付け、さらにプレート枠A’の前面に化粧プレートB’を取着することで配線器具Cを壁等に見栄え良く埋込配設するようにした配線器具用プレートが提供されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで上記従来例においては、プレート枠A’を埋込ボックスに取り付けるためにボックスねじ挿通孔6a〜6dに挿通したボックスねじ40を締め付けたとき、図7に示すように、そのボックスねじ挿通孔6a〜6dが設けられている上下側片3a,3b(あるいは左右側片3c,3d)が後方に反る形で変形し、ボックスねじ40の締め付けに起因したプレート枠A’の変形が係止溝4や撓み片50にまで及んでしまい、配線器具Cが化粧プレートB’の表面よりも後方へ沈み込んでしまって見栄えが良くないという問題があった(図7の点線参照)。
