最近、口腔衛生意識が高まるとともに一回の歯磨きにかける時間が延びてきている。しかしながら、従来の歯磨剤で長時間歯磨きを行うと泡が口から垂れて、手や衣服を汚すという問題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者は、長時間歯磨きしたときの泡について検討した結果、ブラッシングにより生じた泡がだ液により希釈され、泡の物性、特に泡の粘性が低下して口垂れがおこる事がわかった。そこで、この粘性低下を防止すれば長時間歯磨きしても泡が口から垂れにくくなることを見出した。

すなわち、本発明は、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース及びキサンタンガムを1〜3質量%含有する歯磨剤組成物であって、球状毛先の歯ブラシに前記歯磨き1gをのせて300〜400gのブラッシング荷重にて横みがきで歯磨きを行うことにより、開始2分後までにブラッシングで発生した泡の動的粘弾性測定により得られる複素弾性率G*値が300〜600 dyne / cm 2 である歯磨剤組成物を提供するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明歯磨剤組成物の特徴は、ブラッシングにより発生した泡の粘性がだ液により希釈されても低下し難いことであるが、当該粘性低下は、ブラッシングにより発生した泡の動的粘弾性測定により得られる複素弾性率G*値が300〜600dyne/cm 2 となるように設計すれば、良好に防止できる。また、該泡の動的粘弾性測定により得られる動的損失正弦tanδ値は0.5〜1.5がより好ましい。なお、ブラッシングにより発生した泡の動的粘弾性は、動的ひずみ掃引法により、二重円筒型セルを用い、温度37℃、周波数20rad/s、測定歪み0.1〜10%で測定するのが好ましい。

本発明歯磨剤組成物は、ブラッシングにより発生した泡の粘性が低下しないように設計すれば、組成は限定されないが、界面活性剤、粘結剤、湿潤剤及び水を含有するのが好ましく、界面活性剤、粘結剤、湿潤剤、研磨剤及び水を含有するのがより好ましい。界面活性剤は0.5〜20重量%(以下、単に%で示す)、粘結剤は1〜3%、湿潤剤は10〜70%、研磨剤は0〜70%(より好ましくは5〜70%)、水は10〜50%配合するのが好ましい。

界面活性剤としては、糖又は糖アルコールの脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン脂肪酸エステル等の非イオン界面活性剤;アルキル硫酸エステル塩、高級脂肪酸モノグリセリドスルホネート塩、高級脂肪酸モノグリセリドサルフェート塩、N−メチル−N−長鎖アシルタウリン塩、N−長鎖アシルザルコシネート、N−長鎖アシル−β−アラニン等のN−長鎖アシルアミノ酸塩等のアニオン界面活性剤;2−アルキル−N−カルボキシメチル−N−ヒドロキシエチルイミダゾリニウムベタイン、塩酸アルキルジアミノエチルグリシン、ラウリルジメチルアミノ酢酸ベタイン等の両性界面活性剤が挙げられる。湿潤剤としては、例えばグリセリン、ソルビット、プロピレングリコール、1,3−ブチレングリコール、エチレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、キシリット、マルチット、ラクチット等が挙げられる。研磨剤として第2リン酸カルシウム・2水和物及び無水物、第1リン酸カルシウム、第3リン酸カルシウム、炭酸カルシウム、ピロリン酸カルシウム、硫酸カルシウム、水酸化アルミニウム、アルミナ、シリカ系研磨剤、ケイ酸アルミニウム、不溶性メタリン酸ナトリウム、第3リン酸マグネシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、無水ケイ酸、含水ケイ酸、結晶性セルロース、ポリアクリル酸樹脂等が挙げられる。

実施例1〜4
表1に示す組成の練歯磨剤を調製し、一定の条件(歯ブラシ:市販球状毛先、歯ブラシのかたさ:ふつう、ブラッシング方法:横みがき、ブラッシング荷重:300〜400g、歯磨き使用量:1g)で磨き、口から泡が垂れはじめるまでの時間(分)を測定した。一方、歯磨きを開始して2分後に直接泡を測定用カップに移し、泡の動的粘弾性測定を行った。測定機器及び測定条件は下記の通りである。なお、表1中の実施例1、3及び4は、特許請求の範囲外の参考例である。
