【発明の属する分野】
この発明は、苗載置台上のマット状の苗から一株分の苗を掻き取って圃場に植え付けていく苗植付装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、田植機においては、30×60cm程度の広さで生育したマット苗から数本の苗を一株分として床土とともに一度に掻き取って圃場面に植え付けるように出来ている。そして、その苗を掻き取る植付爪は、通常、左右一対の棒状の杆が用いられる。マット苗は、草丈が7cm程度に生育した稚苗が用いられるが、寒冷地では根の発育が悪く、前後左右の苗の根がほとんどからまない。そのため、一株を構成する数本の苗が掻き取られたのち、圃場面に達するまでに分離するおそれがある。これを解消するため、上記の一対の棒状の植付爪に代えて、先端部の左右両端が下側に折り曲げられることにより側壁部が設けられた植付爪で一株分の苗床を左右の前記側壁部で抱えるようにしたものを用い、この植付爪が掻き取った苗を押し出すべく前記左右の側壁部の間で作動する苗押出具を設けて圃場に苗を植え付けるようにした苗植付装置がある(特開平8−140439号)。

【作用】
