Description

【0001】
マッシュルーム抽出物はマッシュルームを水あるいは有機溶媒で抽出し、これを濃縮、粉末化して得られるものであり、市販もされている。{リコム社製、シャンピニオンエキス(Bio−M)}
【0008】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an oral deodorant for excreta, which contains proanthocyanidins and is effective in deodorizing excreta such as feces and urine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
At present, there is a growing interest in deodorizing body odors and excreta from humans, pets, livestock and the like. For example, the smell of the excrement of pets such as dogs and cats kept indoors makes the owner uncomfortable, and the smell of excrement from bedridden elderly people imposes a further burden on caregivers. It is also.
[0003]
For this reason, various studies have been made on the deodorization of these excrement, for example, spraying a fragrance on excrement such as feces and urine, masking off-odd and bad odor, adsorbing the odor with activated carbon, Alternatively, a method of sprinkling a specific compound such as proanthocyanidin to a source of off-flavor / bad odor (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-160962).
However, all of these methods are means for the excreted ones, and so-called post-processing.
On the other hand, a deodorant for taking orally and reducing malodour such as feces and urine has been developed. For example, mushroom extract (Koizumi Kaoru, Japan Public Health Magazine, Vol. 44, No. 1, 5 11 (1997)), green tea extract (Masako Kawakami, New Food Industry, Vol. 40, No. 1, pages 33 to 40 (1997)) and tannic acid (JP-A-4-117326) as an active ingredient. Deodorants and the like are known, but it is not necessarily a satisfactory method because it is weak in terms of effect and the actual amount used is limited in terms of cost.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a novel oral deodorant for excrement that is inexpensive and highly effective.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The inventors of the present invention have made extensive studies to solve the above problems, and surprisingly, by taking proanthocyanidins, the odor of excrement is remarkably reduced, and there is a finding that it has rapid action and sustainability. To complete the present invention.
That is, the present invention is an oral deodorant for excreta containing proanthocyanidins.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention will be specifically described below.
The proanthocyanidins used in the present invention are condensed tannins present in various plant bodies, that is, a compound group in which flavan-3-ol or flavan-3,4-diol is combined as a constituent unit by condensation or polymerization, These are given this name because they produce anthocyanidins such as cyanidin, delphinidin and pelargonidin by acid treatment, and they are dimers, trimers, tetramers and even 10-mers or more of the above structural units. It includes proanthocyanidins such as high molecular weight procyanidins, prodelphinidins, propelargonidins, and their stereoisomers. These can be obtained by extraction from various plant bodies such as grape seeds, cranberry fruits, apple fruits, red beans, cedars, oaks, and pine bark.
Products based on these proanthocyanidins are also commercially available, such as “KPA” and “Gravinol” (Kikkoman Corp.) made from grape seeds, and “Applephenon” made from unripe fruits (Nikka) (Wusuki Co., Ltd.), “Pycnogenol” (Hofer Research (Switzerland)), etc. made from coastal pine bark.
[0007]
The form of oral deodorant for excrement containing these proanthocyanidins as an active ingredient is powder, tablets, capsules, drinks, etc., and can also be added to other foods and drinks.
For example, a grape seed extract powder containing proanthocyanidins is mixed with an appropriate excipient to form a tablet, or filled into a capsule together with sugar or fragrance to obtain an oral deodorant. Moreover, you may mix and use a well-known oral deodorant.
In particular, when used in combination with a mushroom extract, a synergistic deodorizing effect is recognized.
The mushroom extract is obtained by extracting mushrooms with water or an organic solvent, concentrating and powdering them, and is also commercially available. {Champignon extract (Bio-M) manufactured by Recom Co., Ltd.}
[0008]
Proanthocyanidin intake of the oral deodorant for excrement of the present invention is as follows: in the case of a person with a body weight of 60 kg, the total flavanols per day (the proanthocyanidin amount is calculated as the total flavanol amount in terms of catechin using the vanillin method) It is 50 mg or more, preferably 60 to 400 mg, which may be taken once to several times.
For example, when “Gravinol” from Kikkoman Corporation is used as a deodorant, “Gravinol” contains about 40% of proanthocyanidins, so 125 mg or more, preferably 150 to 1000 mg once a day. -Take it in several divided doses.
Moreover, when giving to an animal, what is necessary is just to mix and administer 0.01 to 1% as a total flavanol in another feed.
For example, when grape seed extract is used as proanthocyanidins and this is used in combination with mushroom extract, the blending ratio of both extracts is 1: 0.05 to 2.0, and the intake is, for example, body weight In the case of a person of 60 kg, 30 mg or more, preferably 50 to 200 mg of mushroom extract and preferably 20 to 100 mg of mushroom extract may be taken per day as the total flavanols of grape seed extract.
[0009]
【The invention's effect】
The oral deodorant for excrement according to the present invention significantly reduces the odor of excrement by taking it, and has the immediate effect that the effect appears on the next day after taking it. It is effective in deodorizing these excrement by mixing it with feed for pets and pets.
[0010]
Experimental examples are shown below to clarify the effects of the present invention.
Experimental Example 1 (Experiment with rats)
Figure 0003815913
[0011]
Six-week-old male and Wistar rats (5 / group) were allowed to freely ingest the diets (a) to (c) in each group. Feces were sampled on the 1st, 3rd, and 8th day after each feed administration, and a 4-level evaluation by an 8-person panel (no odor: 0, slightly odor: 1, moderate odor: 2, very odor : The odor sensory test by 3) was done. The results are shown in Table 1.
The numerical value indicates the total of the evaluation points.
[0012]
Figure 0003815913
[0013]
On the 8th day after administration, the amount of methyl mercaptan in the sealed container head space was measured by gas chromatography, and the amounts of ammonia and methylamine were measured with a Kitagawa gas detector tube. The results are shown in Table 2.
[0014]
Figure 0003815913
[0015]
As is clear from the results shown in Tables 1 and 2, the grape seed extract-added feed administration group {(b) group} has a low odor from the first day after administration, and its deodorizing effect is the administration of mushroom extract-added feed. It was stronger than the group {(c) group}. In addition, fecal malodorous substances (methyl mercaptan, ammonia, methylamine) in group (b) on day 8 after administration were less than those in group (c).
[0016]
Experimental Example 2 (Combination of grape seed extract and mushroom extract)
Figure 0003815913
[0017]
15-week-old females and SD rats (5 / group) were allowed to freely ingest the diets (a) to (c) in each group. Feces were sampled on the 1st, 3rd, and 8th days after administration of each feed, and an odor sensory test was performed in the same manner as in Experimental Example 1. The results are shown in Table 3.
[0018]
Figure 0003815913
[0019]
In addition, the amount of ammonia and methylamine in feces on the eighth day after administration was measured in the same manner as in Experimental Example 1. The results are shown in Table 4.
[0020]
Figure 0003815913
As shown in Tables 3 and 4, the group (c) in which the grape seed extract and the mushroom extract were used in combination had a remarkably high deodorizing effect.
[0021]
Experiment Example 3 (Experiment with Pig)
Figure 0003815913
[0022]
Twelve piglets (4 / group) were allowed to freely take the feeds (a) to (c) for 3 weeks. Thereafter, feces were sampled and an odor sensory test was performed in the same manner as in Experimental Example 1. The results are shown in Table 5.
[0023]
Figure 0003815913
As a result, a dose-dependent deodorizing effect was observed.
[0024]
Experimental example 4 (human experiment)
Adults (35 to 45 years old), 3 males per group, (a) grape seed extract (Kikkoman Corp., Gravinol) was used for group (a), and (b) group was used in Experimental Example 1. The same mushroom extract was taken in the morning and evening for 250 mg each (total 500 mg) for 4 days, and each feces was subjected to an odor sensory test in the same manner as in Experimental Example 1 every day. Further, one person was selected from each of the groups (a) and (b), and the daily stool was sampled and the odorous substances were measured in the same manner as in Experimental Example 1. The results are shown in Tables 6 and 7.
Odor substances were measured in the same manner as in Experimental Example 1.
[0025]
Figure 0003815913
[0026]
Figure 0003815913
[0027]
From Tables 6 and 7, the group (a) who took the grape seed extract showed a very strong fecal deodorizing effect the day after it was taken, and the effect persisted for 2 days even if the medication was stopped. It is confirmed.
[0028]
Experimental Example 5 (human experiment)
Adults (35 to 45 years old), 9 boys per group, (a) group grape seed extract (Kikkoman Co., Ltd., Gravinol, containing 200 mg per 500 mg as total flavanol)) ( b) The group received green tea extract (Taiyo Chemical Co., Ltd., Sunflavone HG, 250 mg per 500 mg as total flavanol) in the morning, evening and 250 mg each (total 500 mg) for 14 days. The odor sensory test was carried out on feces on the previous day, the second day, the seventh day, and the 14th day by the same method as in Experimental Example 1. In particular, the number of bifidobacteria and the intestinal spoilage products (phenol, p-cresol, 4E-phenol, indol, skatole) on the stool of the grape seed extract the day before and 14 days ) Was measured. The results are shown in Table 8 and FIG.
Subjects should not take antibiotics, tea (green tea, oolong tea, etc.), lactic acid bacteria food (yogurt, etc.), foods containing oligos, dietary fiber reinforced foods, natto, polyphenols, red wine. Instructed.
[0029]
Figure 0003815913
The number of Bifidas bacteria (log CFU / g stool) was 9.6 ± 0.3 before oral administration, while it was significantly 10.1 ± 0.3 (dangerous) on the 14th day after oral administration of grape seed extract. There was a significant difference at a rate of 5%). In addition, in the measurement of the amount of intestinal spoilage product (μg / g), phenol was 10.1 ± 17.1 before the internal use, whereas it was 0.5 ± 0.5 on the 14th day of the internal use. P-cresol is also from 31.7 ± 28.9 to 16.4 ± 8.5, 4E-phenol is from 0.2 ± 0.5 to 0, and India is 19.5 The skatole decreased from ± 8.3 to 14.2 ± 5.0 and from 2.5 ± 3.7 to 0.6 ± 1.2, and these total amounts were also 63.9 ± On the 14th day of oral administration, it was significantly reduced to 31.8 ± 12.5 (significant difference at 5% risk). From these facts, it is considered that the deodorizing effect of the grape seed extract is due to a decrease in intestinal spoilage products due to an increase in the number of bifidus bacteria.
[0030]
