BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a plate material supply apparatus, and more particularly to a plate material supply apparatus that takes out plate materials one by one from a cassette that alternately stores plate materials and slip sheets and supplies them to an exposure apparatus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a plate material supply apparatus that takes out plate materials one by one from a cassette that alternately stores plate materials and slip sheets and supplies them to an exposure apparatus, the processing of slip sheets becomes a problem. That is, when supplying the plate material, it is necessary to remove the interleaving paper and store the interleaving paper in a predetermined container. Here, the plate material refers to a plate obtained by applying a photosensitive agent to one surface of an aluminum plate material. An interleaf is a paper sheet that is cut into the same shape as the plate to protect the photosensitive surface of the plate.
However, slip sheets often adhere to the plate material due to the action of static electricity, and are therefore often transported together with the plate material to the exposure apparatus. Transport of materials other than the plate material, such as slip sheets, to the exposure apparatus causes a failure of the exposure apparatus.
Therefore, conventionally, the slip sheet adhering to the plate material is blown off with air or scraped off by a roller to prevent the slip sheet from being conveyed to the exposure apparatus. FIG. 10 shows a main part of a conventional plate material supply apparatus having a function of blowing the slip sheet attached to the plate material with air. Further, FIG. 11 shows a main part of another conventional plate material supply apparatus having a function of scraping off the slip sheet attached to the plate material with a roller. 10 is described in, for example, U.S. Pat. No. 4,402,592. A plate material supply apparatus of the type shown in FIG. 11 is described in, for example, US Pat. No. 5,367,360.

By the way, in each of the above apparatuses, the cassette for storing the plate material is provided to be inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, but still another conventional plate material supply device in which the cassette is provided horizontally. There is also. The main part is shown in FIG. A plate material supply apparatus of the type shown in FIG. 12 is described in, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 61-41810.
In FIG. 12, yet another conventional plate material supply apparatus includes a plate

[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, static electricity between the plate material and the interleaf is generated particularly in winter when the air is dry. In that case, the adsorbing power of the generated static electricity is also strong. In addition, a large amount of static electricity may be intentionally applied to the plate material during the plate material production process. This is performed for the purpose of preventing slippage of the slip sheet when the plate material is cut into a predetermined size. This large amount of static electricity often remains after shipment, and the slip sheet is strongly adhered to the plate material.
[0007]
However, in the plate material supply apparatus of the type shown in FIG. 10, since the slip sheet attached to the plate material is simply blown off with air, the strongly attached slip sheet could not be peeled off very well. Further, there are many cases where the blown slip sheets are not properly stored in the
[0008]
In the plate material supply apparatus of the type shown in FIG. 11, the slip sheet adhered to the plate material is simply scraped off by the
[0009]
On the other hand, in the plate material supply apparatus of the type shown in FIG. 12, the end portion of the slip sheet attached to the plate material is rubbed with the
[0010]
It should be noted that whether the cassette is inclined or horizontal is not particularly different from the viewpoint of well peeling the slip sheet attached to the plate material. However, when the cassette is installed horizontally as shown in FIG. 12, the volume of the apparatus becomes larger than when the cassette is installed inclined as shown in FIG. 10 or FIG. On the other hand, since the plate material stored in the cassette does not slide down or cause a positional shift, it can be said that the reliability of the supply operation is high.
[0011]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to peel off the slip sheet adhering to the plate material well when the plate material is taken out from the cassette in which the plate material and the slip sheet are alternately stored and supplied to the exposure apparatus. As a result, it is an object of the present invention to provide a plate material supply apparatus which can prevent the slip sheet from being erroneously supplied to the exposure apparatus.
[0012]
Another object of the present invention is to allow the peeled slip sheet to be properly stored in a dedicated tray in the plate material supply apparatus, thereby facilitating the reuse of the recovered slip sheet. That is.
[0013]
Still another object of the present invention is to reduce the volume of the apparatus as much as possible when the cassette is installed horizontally in the plate material supply apparatus.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems and Effects of the Invention]
A first invention is a plate material supply device for supplying plate materials to an exposure device one by one,
The upper surface is opened, and inside the cassette, the plate material and the interleaf are alternately or mixed and stored in a stacked state,
An unloading means that includes a suction cup, sucks and holds the plate material or interleaf paper stored in the cassette with the suction cup through the opened upper surface, and carries it out of the cassette;
A plate material conveying means for conveying the plate material carried out from the cassette to the exposure apparatus side, and a plate material having a plurality of protrusions arranged in a row, and the plate material being sucked and held by the carry-out means Interleaving paper peeling means is provided for interleaving the interleaving paper sandwiched between the protrusions of the comb-like plate member and peeling it.
[0015]
According to the first aspect, when carrying out the plate material from the cassette, it is possible to peel off the interleaving paper that is partially attached to the plate material.
[0016]
According to a second invention, in the first invention, the slip sheet peeling means further includes another sucker, and the slip sheet, which is entirely attached to the plate material sucked and held by the carry-out means, is separated by the separate sucker. It is characterized by being peeled by suction.
[0017]
According to the said 2nd invention, when carrying out a plate material from a cassette, the slip sheet which the all has adhered to the plate material can be peeled well.
[0018]
According to a third invention, in the second invention, the interleaf separating means further includes an air nozzle that ejects air, and injects air from the air nozzle toward the gap between the peeled plate material and the interleaf. Thus, it is characterized in that re-adhesion between the plate material once peeled off and the interleaving paper is prevented.
[0019]
According to the third aspect, it is possible to prevent reattachment between the plate material once peeled off and the slip sheet.
[0020]
In a fourth aspect based on the third aspect, the cassette includes an openable / closable shutter for covering the opened upper surface, and the shutter is opened / closed in relation to the timing at which the interleaf separating means injects air. It is characterized by letting.
[0021]
According to the fourth aspect of the invention, the peeled plate material and the interleaving paper are separated by the shutter, so that reattachment is completely prevented. In addition, it is possible to prevent the inconvenience of scratching the photosensitive surface by the trailing edge of the plate material being peeled off and being carried out being dragged on the photosensitive surface of the next plate material.
[0022]
According to a fifth invention, in the first invention,
The unloading means is
After the suction cup sucks and holds the plate material or slip sheet stored in the cassette, the suction cup is moved to a predetermined position above the opened upper surface along the normal direction of the cassette,
The direction of the suction cup is changed at the predetermined position, whereby the plate material or the slip sheet is bent and deformed.
[0023]
According to the fifth aspect, the plate material attached to the back surface of the plate material or the interleaf can be peeled well. This is because as the printing plate or slip sheet is bent and deformed, the printing plate attached to the back surface also gradually changes in bending, but in any case the restoring force of the attached printing plate exceeds the electrostatic adsorption force, This is because the original shape is restored.
[0024]
According to a sixth invention, in the first invention, the first light for discriminating whether the object to be unloaded from the cassette is a plate material or a slip sheet based on the reflected light from the upper surface of the object to be unloaded. Sensor,
A second optical sensor for determining whether the unloaded object is a plate material or a slip sheet based on the reflected light from the lower surface of the unloaded object; and
A metal sensor is further provided for determining whether the unloaded object is a plate material or a slip sheet by detecting a metal material from the unloaded object.
[0025]
According to the sixth aspect, the slip sheet is attached to the back surface of the unloaded plate material, the plate material is adhered to the back surface of the unloaded sheet material, and the unloaded slip sheet. It is possible to detect that the plate material is attached to the back surface of the plate, and that the next slip sheet is attached to the back surface of the plate material.
[0026]
According to a seventh invention, in the first invention,
A tray for collecting slip paper, and
Interleaving paper conveying means for conveying the interleaving paper unloaded from the cassette to the tray side is further provided.
[0027]
According to the seventh aspect, it becomes easy to collect and reuse the slip sheet.
[0028]
In an eighth aspect based on the seventh aspect,
An air injection means for selectively bending only the slip sheet by injecting air with a predetermined power toward the end of the object to be carried out of the cassette;
The slip sheet conveying means includes a gripping member for gripping the end of the bent slip sheet.
[0029]
In the eighth aspect of the invention, since the conveyance path is automatically switched between the plate material and the slip sheet by utilizing the difference in hardness between the plate material and the slip sheet, the configuration of the apparatus is simple and there are few failures. .
[0030]
According to a ninth invention, in the seventh invention,
The cassette is placed horizontally,
The tray is characterized by being installed vertically below the cassette.
[0031]
According to the ninth aspect, the volume of the apparatus can be reduced.
[0032]
According to a tenth aspect, in the first aspect, the cassette further includes a pedestal that supports the cassette rotatably about a straight line passing through the center of gravity and parallel to one side of the opened upper surface.
[0033]
According to the tenth aspect, the work of storing the plate material in the cassette becomes easy.
[0034]
According to an eleventh aspect, in the first aspect, a protective member for protecting the inner bottom surface is provided on the inner bottom surface of the cassette.
[0035]
According to the eleventh aspect, the inner bottom surface of the cassette is hardly damaged. Accordingly, it is possible to perform a storing operation in which the plate material is stored in the cassette while being wrapped in the packing box, and the packing box is disassembled using the blade in the cassette to expose the plate material. This makes it possible to properly store a large number of printing materials at once.
[0036]
In a twelfth aspect based on the eleventh aspect,
Interleaf transport means for transporting interleaving paper unloaded from the cassette to a side different from the exposure apparatus side;
A discrimination sensor for discriminating whether the material to be carried out from the cassette is a plate material or a slip sheet, and
An air injection means for selectively bending only the slip sheet by injecting air with a predetermined power toward the end of the unloaded object;
The interleaf transport means
A gripping member for gripping the end of the bent slip sheet, and
A detection sensor is provided in association with the gripping member and detects an end portion of the bent slip sheet.
[0037]
In the twelfth aspect of the invention, as a result of the storage operation in which the packaging box is disassembled in the cassette and the plate material is exposed, fragments of the packaging box (thick paper, cardboard, etc.) may exist in the cassette. However, it can be detected that the fragments of the packing box are being conveyed. This is because if the detection sensor does not detect the edge of the slip sheet even though the discrimination sensor determines that the transport object is a slip sheet, the transport object is known to be a fragment of the packing box.
