Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an engine cooling piping structure, and more particularly to an engine cooling piping structure provided with a cooling water pipe member provided between an engine and a radiator.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a vehicle engine, a cooling device including a radiator is provided in order to cool the heated cooling water. And between the engine and the radiator, as the cooling water pipe member, the inlet pipe member for guiding the heated cooling water from the cylinder head of the engine to the radiator and the cooling water cooled by the radiator are supplied to the cylinder block of the engine. An outlet pipe member is provided.
[0003]
Such cooling devices are disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 9-1000071, No. 7-52330, and No. 8-48159. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-100718 discloses a horizontal engine in which an additional fan is disposed on the engine side where a compressor and an alternator of an air conditioner are disposed, thereby suppressing the influence of heat dissipation. In Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 7-52330, a cooling water pipe member on the lower side of the engine is formed in a part of the timing belt cover, and the inner space of the timing belt cover is cooled. JP-A-8-48159 discloses a protector for a cooling water pipe member by providing a protector between the cooling water pipe member and a fan belt.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when a transmission and a radiator are arranged on one side of an engine and an outlet pipe member as a cooling water pipe member is laid out from the transmission-side radiator, transmission is performed manually or automatically. Since the shapes of these are different from each other, it is necessary to prepare a plurality of outlet pipe members in accordance with the shapes of these various transmissions, which is complicated and expensive.
[0005]
In order to solve this problem, it is conceivable to extend the outlet pipe member connected to the radiator from the vicinity of the lower drive shaft to the upper side of the engine. However, the outlet pipe member interferes with the drive shaft, and the outlet pipe member As a result, the outlet pipe member is laid out in the vicinity of the drive shaft, and therefore, the radiator and the engine cannot be integrated into the vehicle.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, in order to eliminate the above-mentioned inconveniences, the present invention provides a transmission on one side of the engine and a timing chain cover on the other side of the engine. The timing chain cover is coaxial with the crankshaft. A crank pulley is disposed, a water pump pulley and an oil tanner pulley driven by a belt wound around the crank pulley are disposed, and a radiator for cooling the engine coolant is disposed in front of the engine. Attach one end of the intake manifold to the cylinder head, extend the intake manifold upward, and place the other end of the intake manifold at the height of the upper part of the engine. The drive shaft is arranged at the height of the part to be attached to the cooling water cooled by the radiator In the engine cooling piping structure guided to the cylinder block through an outlet pipe member, the outlet pipe member is a portion where the oil pan is attached to the cylinder block on a hose member connected to the radiator on the other side of the engine Are connected to each other at the height of the crank pulley and extend from the lower side of the crank pulley to the rear side of the crank pulley, and then upward from the rear side of the crank pulley along the rear end of the timing chain cover outside the belt. Extending between the alternator pulley and the water pump pulley, extending above the alternator pulley and the water pump pulley, and then disposed between the intake manifold and the rear surface of the engine. Bent down below the throttle body, the water pon It characterized in that at substantially the same height as the pulley is connected to the inlet cap provided in the cylinder block of the rear side of the engine.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the present invention, since the cooling water pipe member is extended upward along the engine so as to surround the engine accessory from below, it is not necessary to provide the cooling water pipe member on the transmission side. Multiple cooling water pipe members are not required for the transmission, the number of cooling water pipe members is reduced by making the cooling water pipe members common, and the cooling water pipe members are damaged. In addition, the engine and the radiator can be integrally mounted on the vehicle, reducing the number of assembling steps, reducing the work time, and the radiator. This is possible regardless of the installation position, and the degree of freedom of the radiator mounting position can be increased.
