横葺屋根や縦葺屋根の葺板(屋根板)は、長期使用により老朽化すると、雨漏りなどの不具合が生じる恐れがあるため、適当な時期に改修(葺替え)を行うことが望ましい。

この屋根板の葺替えにあたっては、葺板を野地板から全部引き剥がして取り去るが、この葺板引き剥がし作業は手作業によるものであるために多大な労力と費用を要し、また時間もかかる非常に厄介な作業であった。

本発明は、このような現状に鑑み、これを解決するためのもので、葺板の引き剥がし作業を容易化できる実用性に秀れた屋根の葺板引き剥がし具を提供するものである。

横葺屋根用の横葺板1の、棟側に配設される連結用折曲部1Aに挟持係止する挟持部2を設け、この挟持部2は、挟持部材7と、この挟持部材7に対し挟持開閉作動し且つ前記横葺板1の連結用折曲部1Aに食い込み係止する係止爪2Aとで構成して、この挟持部材7と係止爪2Aとで連結用折曲部1Aを挟持係止する構成とし、この挟持部2を挟持開閉操作する操作ハンドル部3を設け、この挟持部2の近傍に支点部4を設けて、この支点部4を支点に操作ハンドル部3を可倒し得るように構成すると共に、挟持部2で前記横葺板1の連結用折曲部1Aを挟持係止したまま操作ハンドル部3を倒すと、この支点部4を支点としたテコ作用により挟持部2が起動し、この連結用折曲部1Aから横葺板1が屋根下地材5に対して引き剥がされるように構成したことを特徴とする屋根の葺板引き剥がし具に係るものである。
