【0159】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a courier information processing system and a courier service method, and can be applied to, for example, a case where an information processing terminal in a convenience store or an information processing terminal that a customer has at home is used as an information input terminal.
[0002]
In the present specification, the term “courier service” includes a part of transportation means using an airplane or the like, for example, a thing related to a so-called courier service. Also, in practice, this includes transportation handling large cargo that is not included in the term courier.
[0003]
[Prior art]
In recent years, convenience stores have also received home delivery services.
[0004]
For example, a customer (requester) fills in information such as a delivery destination and a requester on a delivery form of a courier at a convenience store or at home, attaches the delivery form to a requested cargo, and requests delivery at the convenience store. Some customers make it easy to fill (print) delivery forms by recording data for recipients who repeatedly request delivery as file data on their personal computers.
[0005]
In addition, the delivery form prepared by the courier company is printed with a barcode that indicates the slip code for identifying the delivery form at the time of inquiry, and the barcode is read at the time of reception at a convenience store. The position information on the subsequent delivery route can be managed.
[0006]
In addition, the delivery form includes the convenience store that received the request, the store code that identifies the first delivery station (the term “delivery station includes the station that collects the goods”), the branch office that performs the final delivery to the delivery destination, There is also an entry field for the store code that identifies agents and delivery stations. Enter the store opening code and store code at the convenience store that received the request, the first delivery station, etc., and determine the delivery route. To make it available for use.
[0007]
In addition, courier companies distribute delivery forms filled with recipients, senders, departure codes, arrival codes, etc. to customers who often send requests to the same recipient. Yes.
[0008]
In addition, today, the customer can designate a time period for delivering the requested cargo to the recipient.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, unless the courier company provides it, the customer must fill in information such as the recipient and sender in the delivery form of the courier, and even if the recipient is the same, Must be filled in each time. Generally speaking, customers who use convenience stores are often individual users, and the frequency of courier delivery is not high, and the delivery destination, sender, departure code, arrival code, etc. are filled in. It is rare for courier companies to distribute forms.
[0010]
In addition, when a courier is used for delivery of golf bags, skis, etc., the courier is often used for both round trips. The customer must enter the same address, name, etc., although the fields are different for both the outbound and inbound trips. In general, golf courses and ski resorts are far away, and there are many cases where it is often desired to get home early, and some people are dissatisfied with spending a lot of time on the procedure for requesting courier service.
[0011]
Furthermore, at convenience stores and the first delivery station, the store opening code and store arrival code must be entered according to the recipient in the delivery form and the location of the customer, and the delivery route is determined. It is necessary to input a store opening code, a store opening code, a slip code, etc. from a terminal to the computer of the courier company, and the input work is troublesome. In particular, when a store clerk at a convenience store performs, the general store customer of the convenience store may be kept waiting for these operations.
[0012]
Furthermore, the time period for delivering the requested cargo to the recipient can only be specified by the sender, and the recipient can specify the reception time zone for the absence notification, but initially specify the reception time zone. I can't. For this reason, there is a large proportion of wasteful delivery operations.
[0013]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and is intended to provide a courier information processing system and a courier service method that can solve at least a part of the above-described problems.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The courier information processing system according to the first aspect of the present invention is a first input means for inputting information relating to at least a sending source and a receiving destination of a cargo for which delivery is requested, and information relating to the attribute of the cargo for which delivery is requested. Referring to the information input from the two input means and the first and second input means, the freight transportation plan through at least one delivery station from the sending source to the receiving destination is formulated. Information input by the first and second input means and freight formulated by the transportation plan formulation means for the transportation plan formulation means and a delivery station included in the plan formulated by the transportation plan formulation means A communication means for conveying information of the transportation plan;Printing means for printing a delivery form to be affixed to the cargo according to information input from the first and second input means.
SecondThe courier service method of the present invention includes a first input step for inputting information on at least a sending source and a receiving destination of a freight requesting delivery, and a second input for inputting information on the attribute of the freight requested for delivery. A transportation plan formulation that creates a cargo transportation plan through at least one delivery station from the sender to the recipient by referring to the step and the information input in the first and second input steps And the information input in the first and second input steps and the freight transportation plan formulated in the transportation plan formulation step for the delivery stations included in the plan formulated in the transportation plan formulation step. A communication step for transmitting information; And a printing step for printing a delivery form for affixing to the cargo according to the information input by the first and second input means.

First, a single information card may store one set of sender and receiver information, and second, a single information card may include multiple sets of senders and receivers. It is also possible to store information on recipients. Third, even if one sender information and a plurality of recipient information are stored on one information card. good. In the second and third cases, it is necessary to select desired information from information read from the information card. For example, in the first case, a magnetic card is applied as the information card, and in the second and third cases, an IC card is applied as the information card.
[0051]
In the above description, the case where there are only two types of input, whether to use an information card, has been described. However, an input mode is provided in which information read from the information card is corrected to obtain the current input information. Also good. For example, it is also possible to obtain information on the current recipient from the information card by obtaining information on the sender and recipient, etc., and inputting only the information on the recipient.
[0052]
When obtaining the information of the sender and the receiver related to the current delivery, the general-purpose

Here, in the process of fetching the desired delivery date and time, the general-purpose
[0054]
Further, in the process of fetching the desired delivery date and time, the customer does not have to specify the desired date and time. In this case, the delivery date and time is determined by transportation plan processing by the
[0055]
Thereafter, the general-purpose
[0056]
Here, the types of cargo can be broadly classified into cargos that require handling such as “ware”, “name”, and “cool”, round-trip prerequisite cargo such as “golf bag” and “ski”, and other general cargoes. A cargo whose destination is “airport” may be included in a round-trip premise cargo or a general cargo.
[0057]
When the customer inputs general cargo as the cargo type, the processing shown in Fig. 4 is performed. When the handling caution cargo is input, the processing shown in Fig. 5 is performed and the round trip prerequisite cargo is input. In such a case, the process as shown in FIG. 6 is performed, and then the process proceeds to step S7 described later.
[0058]
In the case of a general cargo, the customer is allowed to input cargo information necessary for calculating charges such as the weight and bulk of the cargo (step S20).
[0059]
For example, a weighing scale may be placed near the general-purpose
[0060]
Thereafter, the general-purpose
[0061]
When the customer desires round-trip delivery, a message or an image for inputting the desired collection date and time on the return path is displayed on the monitor, and the desired collection date and time on the return path input by the customer is captured (step S22). At this time, the desired delivery date and time on the return path may also be captured. Further, when it is recognized that the pickup location on the return path is different from the destination on the outbound path, the location information may also be captured. In the following description, the round-trip delivery will be described on the assumption that the destination on the forward path is the collection place on the return path.
[0062]
When the customer does not wish for round-trip delivery, or when the customer has requested the pickup date and time for the return trip that the customer has requested for round-trip delivery, the general-purpose
[0063]
Here, the charge calculation in step S23 is, for example, calculating the one-way charge according to the weight, bulk, the location of the convenience store and the recipient, and in the case of one-way delivery, the one-way charge is applied and the round-trip delivery is applied. In this case, the charge is α (1 <α <2; for example, α = 1.8) times the one-way fee. Although it is also related to the billing process (step S7), which will be described later, only the one-way fee is calculated even in the case of round-trip delivery, and if the billing process instructs to pay only the forward route at the present time, If you are instructed to pay for a round trip at the present time, you will be charged α (1 <α <2; for example, α: 1.8) times the one-way fee. To do. In round-trip delivery, if the convenience store location and the sender (customer) address are significantly different, the one-way charge for the return trip is calculated and the return charge is calculated as β (0 <β <1; for example, α = 0.8) times the charge.
[0064]
In addition, as described above, when a delivery form is created using the general-purpose
[0065]
Furthermore, the information required for the charge calculation may be stored in advance in the general-purpose
[0066]
In printing the delivery form in step S24, for example, the one-way delivery form format and the round-trip delivery form format may be different. Here, the round trip delivery form format may be such that the outgoing route portion and the backward route portion are connected via a cut line, and can be used for the round trip delivery without being divided into the outgoing route portion and the backward route portion. It may be of a form. Even in the case of round-trip delivery, a one-way delivery form format may be applied, and the forward route and the backward route may be printed at this timing. In the case of round-trip delivery, the outbound route is printed at this timing, and the inbound route is controlled by the home
[0067]
Further, when including a store opening code or a store opening code in the delivery form, after the store opening code or the store arrival code is taken out from the storage unit or taken out from the home
[0068]
Furthermore, in the case of round-trip delivery, the return delivery form may be printed at the return collection location, and the customer may select whether to print at the convenience store location or at the return collection location. Also good.
[0069]
As shown in FIG. 5, the general-purpose
[0070]
If the handling caution cargo is different from the general cargo (for example, cool cargo), the fee system is applied in the fee calculation in step S33. In addition, in the delivery form printing in step S34, an auxiliary sticker for clarifying "ware", "name", "cool", etc. is also printed. Furthermore, if the cargo to be handled is “name” or “cool”, the confirmation of the desired round-trip delivery is not executed.
[0071]
When a round-trip premise cargo such as “golf back” or “ski” is input as the cargo to be delivered to the courier, the general-purpose

If the customer desires round-trip delivery, the general-purpose

Thereafter, the general-purpose

In the case of this embodiment, cargo such as golf bags and skis are fixed charges, and the charge calculation in step S44 is simply performed. Even in this case, the charge may be changed according to the combination of the location of the convenience store and the recipient, the weight and the bulk.
[0075]
It should be noted that the freight type-specific processing may be different not only in each processing as described above, but also in the above-described fetching of desired delivery date and time and billing processing described later.
[0076]
When printing of the delivery form is completed as described above, the general-purpose

Here, the information card may be issued by issuing a new information card or by adding information to the information card already owned by the customer. Even when an information card is used, when a part of the information is corrected and used, the information card may be regarded as not being used and the request for issuing the information card may be confirmed. . Note that an information card having a printing surface in part and capable of printing a destination name is preferable because a plurality of information cards can be easily managed.
[0080]
FIG. 3 shows the case where information (digitized data) related to courier service input by a customer (requester; sender) is stored in an information card and an information card is issued. Identification information such as a password is sent to the sender. And the information (digitized data) related to the courier input by the customer (sender) may be stored in the general-purpose

When an information card was used (positive result at step S8), when an information card was not used but was not desired to be issued (negative result at step S9), or an information card was issued at the request of the customer In the case (when step S10 is completed), the general-purpose
[0082]
The courier receiver who has received the courier cargo and the delivery form (and the auxiliary seal) confirms the information temporarily set in the general-purpose
[0083]
In the above description, the case where there is one requested cargo has been described as an example. However, when there are two or more cargoes, some processes such as printing of a delivery form are repeated according to them.
[0084]
In the above, the case where one-way delivery and round-trip delivery exist is shown, but other delivery types may be specified by the customer (source).
[0085]
For example, the cargo on the outbound route may be different from the cargo on the inbound route, and exchange delivery in which the delivery time on the outbound route becomes the collection time on the outbound route may be possible. The information necessary for the return path in this case is also the information taken in for the outbound path by the general-purpose
[0086]
Further, for example, it may be possible to make a cyclic delivery from a convenience store to the golf course A, from the golf course A to the golf course B, and from the golf course B to the client address (or convenience store). Information necessary in this case is also taken in by the general-purpose

In addition, although FIG. 8 showed the case where the process at the time of reception of the intention display regarding the receipt of the recipient is changed depending on whether the requested cargo is in the convenience store of the sender, in addition to this, Instead, the processing may be performed according to other cases. For example, the case classification may be performed based on whether the cargo has arrived at the delivery station at the final position. In the situation where the cargo has not arrived at the final delivery station, when there is an indication of “designation of receiving time” or “change of receiving location”, the transportation plan for the outbound route may be revised.
[0119]
(A-3) Effects of the first embodiment
According to the first embodiment, at the time of request for courier service, information such as the name and address of the sender and recipient is digitized and input, and based on the digitized data, a transportation plan is immediately formulated, Since the delivery station is notified, it is possible to quickly develop a transportation plan. When the requested courier service is round-trip delivery, the transportation plan for the return route is also formulated, so that the transportation plan can be formulated with a margin.
[0120]
In addition, since the electronic data such as the name and address of the sender and receiver are stored in the information card or the like, it is possible to facilitate the input operation at the next courier request.
[0121]
Furthermore, since the delivery form is printed based on the digitized data such as the name and address of the sender and recipient, it is possible to obtain an easy-to-read delivery form and make it easier for the delivery person to process. it can. In addition, it is easy to create (print, etc.) a delivery form for the return trip.
[0122]
Furthermore, since the recipient's wishes (intentions) regarding the receipt can be confirmed based on the digitized data such as the name and address of the sender and recipient, it is less likely that the final deliverer performs useless delivery operations. In addition, the destination and the destination are not restricted for the courier cargo. In addition, it is possible to refuse undesired delivery, and if the recipient's intention notification is quick, the courier company also reduces wasteful delivery operations.
[0123]
Furthermore, since the information processing terminal for reception is a general-purpose terminal in a convenience store, not only the initial investment can be suppressed, but also various charging methods possessed by the terminal can be used, and the charging method can be enhanced. Also, the client benefits greatly.
[0124]

Further, in each of the above embodiments, an information processing terminal that can be operated by a customer other than the source information processing terminal owned (or used) by the customer is installed in a convenience store. An information processing terminal installed in a courier service, and a courier request information processing terminal that can be operated by a customer (or a receptionist) provided at a sales office of a courier company. Also good.
[0150]
Furthermore, although each said embodiment demonstrated the case where one courier company delivered the requested cargo, the present invention is applied also when a plurality of courier companies jointly deliver the same cargo. Can do. For example, the present invention can also be applied when a courier company that does not use the Hokkaido region as a service area and a courier company that uses the Hokkaido region as a service area jointly deliver.
[0151]
Furthermore, in addition to a character string that can be recognized by humans, a delivery content that can be recognized by a machine such as a barcode may be printed on the delivery form. Such a bar code or the like can be easily converted and obtained because information such as a sender and a receiver is digitized data.
[0152]
Further, the distribution of the processing of each component such as the home
[0153]
Furthermore, in each of the above-described embodiments, the case has been shown in which the courier freight is simply returned to the sender when the recipient refuses to receive it, but the information on the refusal of receiving is reflected in future courier requests. May be. For example, after the number of reception rejections reaches a predetermined number (for example, 3 times), a delivery request for the combination of the sender and the receiver may be rejected at the time of request. This is possible because the information of the sender and the receiver is digitized data. Also, for example, if the recipient refuses the receipt, he / she will indicate whether he / she will refuse the receipt only this time or whether he / she will refuse the next time. In the latter case, the information is held in the courier management computer. Subsequent requests may be rejected at the time of request.
[0154]
Furthermore, the method of acquiring information such as a sender and a receiver as digitized data is not limited to a method using a keyboard input, but a handwritten delivery form may be read by OCR so that it can be used this time and next time. .
[0155]
Note that the delivery form is not limited to a form that can be adhered by peeling off the release paper on the back side, such as a so-called tag with attachment straps, or a thing that can be stored in a pocket provided on the cargo. May be.
[0156]
In addition, the recipient's intention confirmation may be performed by transmitting a delivery form as image data read by an image scanner or the like. That is, the present invention can be applied even to a system in which information such as a sender and a receiver is not text data.
[0157]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, the contents that the recipient can indicate are “rejection rejection”, “designation of reception time”, “change of reception location”, and “acceptance of reception”, but other types are permitted. You may do it. For example, intention indications such as “proxy receipt” and “confidential receipt” may be permitted.
[0158]
Furthermore, in each of the above embodiments, the delivery notification is given from the courier management computer to the recipient information processing terminal to obtain intention information regarding the receipt of the recipient. Delivery information may be sent from the sender information processing terminal to the recipient information processing terminal so as to obtain intention information regarding receipt of the recipient (in this case, the intention is confirmed before the transportation plan is formulated). . In this case, the return destination of the intention information may be a general-purpose information processing terminal or a source information processing terminal of a convenience store, or a courier management computer. In such a case, the recipient information processing terminal may be a telephone terminal (general phone, mobile phone, or FAX terminal), and the term “recipient information processing terminal” in the claims includes a telephone terminal. .
