【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、銀行等の金融機関において使用される紙幣入金機、紙幣入出金機などの紙幣を処理する紙幣処理機の紙幣収納装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
上記のような紙幣処理機では、機体内に紙幣収納部を備えており、一般には紙幣収納部の上方位置で収納すべき紙幣を受取り、収納部内を下降してその下端に設けられる繰出し手段上または既に収納されている紙幣上に前記の受取った紙幣を集積させる移送手段を有する紙幣収納装置が用いられている。

従来の上記紙幣収納装置は、図12に平面図を、図13(A)〜(C)に作動状態を示すように、紙幣収納部aの相対向する2側面を構成している側板b,bの外側位置にあって該側板b,bにそって昇降する一対の揺動軸c,cが設けられ、これら揺動軸c,cに平面視略E字状を有する載置板d,dの基部がそれぞれ固着され、各載置板d,dの載置面部e,e…は前記側板b,bに上下方向に切設されたスリットf,f…から紙幣収納部a内に進退自在とされており、進入時には図13(A)のように水平姿勢となって各載置板d,dの載置面部e,e…上で紙幣Pを支持し、紙幣Pを受取った載置板d,dが揺動軸c,cの下降によってそのまま下降し、既収納紙幣Pの上方位置で停止して揺動軸c,cが回動し、各載置板d,dが図13(B)に矢印で示すように下方に観音開き式に開いて最終的に図13(C)のように載置板d,dが紙幣収納部a外に退避し、載置板d,d上に載っていた紙幣Pが既収納紙幣P上に落下集積されるようになっている。

上記載置板d,dの下降停止位置は、載置板d,dが下方に観音開き式に開いた際にその先端が既収納紙幣Pに接触しないだけの距離Laをおいてなるべく既収納紙幣Pの上面に接近した位置で停止させるようになされている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかるに上記従来の装置では、載置板d,d上の紙幣Pを紙幣収納部a内に集積させるとき、載置板d,dを既収納紙幣Pの上面から距離Laだけ離間した位置で停止させてその位置から紙幣Pを落下させなければならないので、落下時に紙幣の集積状態が崩れやすく、そのため正常に集積させることができないという問題があった。特に集積すべき紙幣Pが1枚〜2枚という非常に少ない枚数であると、紙幣に重みがなく、落下姿勢が不安定となって集積状態が乱れ、後の繰出しに重大な支障をきたすという問題点があった。

一方、載置板dの載置面部e,e…の長さLbと落下距離Laとの関係がLb<Laでなければならない関係上、落下距離Laを極力小さくしようとすると前記載置面部e,e…の長さLbがそれだけ小さくなり、したがって載置板d,dが水平姿勢となって紙幣Pを支持するとき互いの載置板d,dの対向部間の間隔が大きく空いてしまい、紙幣収納部aの上方位置で紙幣Pを受取る際に紙幣が載置板d,d上に確実に受取られずに下方に落下してしまうという問題が発生し、それ故前記の落下距離Laを短くすることができなかった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、紙幣収納部の上方位置で紙幣を受取る際には確実に載置板上に受取ることができ、紙幣収納部内へ集積させる際には集積状態を乱すことなく整然と収納集積することを可能とする紙幣収納装置を提供することを課題としてなされたものである。

上記課題を解決する手段として本発明は、紙幣を重積状態に収納する紙幣収納部と、この紙幣収納部の下端に設けられ該収納部内の紙幣を1枚ずつ繰出す繰出し手段と、前記紙幣収納部の上方位置において紙幣を受取って下降し前記繰出し手段上または既収納紙幣上に前記受取った紙幣を集積させる紙幣移送手段とを具備する紙幣収納装置において、該移送手段は、前記紙幣収納部の相対向する2側面の外側位置に軸支された揺動軸に取付けられ前記紙幣収納部内に進入して紙幣を載置可能とする水平姿勢と該収納部外に退避する垂直姿勢とにわたり観音開き状に揺動し得る一対の載置板と、この載置板を揺動させて水平姿勢に保持するとともにその保持を解除して載置板の垂直姿勢への揺動を可能とする載置板揺動手段と、前記載置板の揺動軸および載置板揺動手段を前記紙幣収納部にそって昇降させる昇降手段と、紙幣集積時に前記昇降手段により前記載置板を既収納紙幣の上面よりやや高い位置に位置させ、前記載置板揺動手段により載置板の水平姿勢の姿勢保持を解除したのち前記載置板の揺動軸を上昇させるべく制御する収納制御手段とを具備してなり、収納部内への紙幣集積時に、前記載置板揺動手段、前記昇降手段および前記収納制御手段により、前記載置板は、先端が既収納紙幣の上面に倣って移動しながら紙幣間から外側方へ抜き取られるようにしたことにある。

前記載置板揺動手段は、前記各揺動軸の端部に互いに向き合う方向に突設された一対の作動レバーと、各作動レバーの先端位置が載置され、昇降動により前記載置板を揺動させるとともに昇降用カムフォロワを有する昇降部材と、この昇降部材のカムフォロワに係合して該昇降部材を所定位置に保持することにより載置板を水平姿勢に保持する水平状態保持部、および前記昇降部材を下降させて載置板の垂直姿勢への揺動を可能とする水平状態解除部を有するカム部材と、このカム部材を回動させる駆動モータとで構成することが好ましい。

また、前記載置板が水平姿勢から上方へ揺動したことを検知する検知手段を設け、紙幣集積時に前記載置板を既収納紙幣の上面よりも僅かに高い位置に位置させるために前記検知手段が載置板の上方への揺動を検知することによって前記昇降手段の下降を停止させたのちに僅かに上昇させるよう制御する下降停止制御手段を設ける態様とすることができる。

【発明の実施の態様】
以下、本発明を図面に示す実施の形態を参照して説明する。
図1は本発明に係る紙幣収納装置の適用対象例として紙幣入出金機を示す略示断面図で、その構成の概要を簡単に説明すると、機体1の上部には入金すべき紙幣Pを立位姿勢でセットする入金口2が設けられ、この入金口2には最前位の紙幣Pを1枚ずつ繰込むためのキッカローラ3、フイードローラ4、ゲートローラ5等からなる繰込み手段6が設けられており、紙幣Pの背後を押圧する押圧部材7により最前位の紙幣Pが繰込み手段6に所定の押付け力により当接されるようになっている。

前記繰込み手段6により繰込まれた紙幣を搬送する搬送路には、紙幣Pの真偽、金種、正損等を判別する識別部8が設けられ、この識別部8の下流には前記入金口2の背後位置に設けられているリジェクト口9へリジェクト紙幣と識別された紙幣を繰込むための搬送路10が分岐され、またその分岐点より下流側には表裏反転部11が設けられている。

上記搬送路の末端位置の上方部には出金口12が設けられており、この出金口12の下部には出金リジェクト紙幣P′を収納する出金リジェクトボックス13が設けられている。上記出金口12へは周知のように搬送路14により出金紙幣が送り込まれ、その出金紙幣は図示しない押動手段により紙面に対し手前側に押し出されるようになっており、また出金リジェクトの場合は出金口12の底部を構成している左右一対の底板15,15が下方に開いて出金リジェクトボックス13内に取込むようになっている。

上記各部は機体1の上部領域内に配設され、この上部領域の下部の中間領域には紙幣を一時保留するための一時保留部が、その下方の下部領域には本発明に係わる紙幣収納装置が配設され、この下部領域は機体1に対し一括引出し可能な構成とされる。

前記下部領域には、固定金庫としての万円紙幣用、千円紙幣用、5千円紙幣用の各収納部16,16,16が配設されるほか、機体1内の紙幣を回収して精算等の処理時に他所へ運搬するための回収カセット17が着脱可能に収蔵されている。

また上記各収納部16,16,16および回収カセット17の直上位置の中間領域内には各一時保留部18,18,18,19が配設され、これら収納部16,16…の一時保留部18,18…の上部位置には前記識別部8による識別結果に基づいて各収納部に対応する金種の紙幣を送り込むため分岐路20を経て搬送する搬送路21および送込み手段22,22…が配設されており、一時保留部18,18…内には一時保留紙幣Pを収納部16,16…内に一括して収納する際に開く昇降自在な一対の底板23,23があって入金承認時に収納するようになっている。一時保留紙幣Pの収納不承認による返却は、機体1の前面の扉を解錠して開け、そこから手で取出すようになっている。また回収カセット17の一時保留部19は、送込み手段24のほか繰出し手段25を備え、回収カセット17内の収納紙幣をも繰出すことができるようになっており、またそのとき底板26,26は左右にスライドして開閉されるようになっている。

本発明による紙幣収納装置は、図2に平面図を、図3に図2の一部を破断した正面図を示すように、上面が開放され平面視において横長矩形状を有する縦長箱状の収納部16を有し、その外側は所要範囲にわたり外殻35,35によりカバーされている。

次に本発明における紙幣移送手段の構成について説明する。

前記収納部16の相対向する長手方向の2側面を構成している側板16a,16aの外側部には一対の揺動軸36,36が設けられている。一方の揺動軸36には図4にみられるように平面視略E字状の載置板37の基部が固着され、他方の揺動軸36には前記載置板37の各載置面部37a,37a,37a間に位置しかつ先端同士が長さM(図2示)だけ若干ラップするように2枚の載置板38,38の基部が固着されている。これら載置板37,38は水平状態におかれたとき揺動軸36,36の下面側に固着されており、垂直姿勢となって収納部16外に退避する際の回転中心がなるべく側板16a,16aから離れた位置となるように考慮されている。

前記揺動軸36,36の一端側は断面が下向きコ字状の支持部材40の両側壁に貫通して回転自在に支持され、この支持部材40から突出した揺動軸36,36の端部には作動レバー41,41の一端が固着されているとともに戻りバネ42,42が嵌挿されていて、この戻りバネ42,42により前記載置板37,38が下方に揺動して開く方向に付勢が与えられている。また上記支持部材40にはこれと一体的なガイドブロック43が設けられており、このガイドブロック43は外殻35の一側に立設支持されたガイドロッド44にスライド自在に嵌挿され、昇降がガイドされるようになっている。

前記載置板37,38を水平姿勢(図2、図4示の位置)と前記スリット45,46から側板16a,16a外に出て垂直姿勢となる範囲にわたり揺動させて開閉させる載置板揺動手段50は、前記支持部材40に固設された平面視コ字状の機枠51に支持される揺動用モータ52と、このモータ52の軸52aに固着されたカム部材53と、中央位置に前記カム部材53の周面に当接するカムフォロワ54が軸着された昇降部材55とを有し、この昇降部材55は前記カムフォロワ54とは反対面の中央位置にガイド部56が突設され、このガイド部56のピン57が前記支持部材40に固設の部材に穿設された上下方向の長孔58に嵌合されている。

前記昇降部材55の両端位置には、L形状に屈曲した水平な受部59,59を有し、この受部59,59上には前記揺動軸36,36の作動レバー41,41の先端に軸着されたローラ60,60が当接され、この昇降部材55の上下動に応じ揺動軸36,36が回動して前記載置板37,38が水平姿勢と垂直姿勢とにわたり変換されるようになっている。

前記外殻35の一側には前記載置板37,38およびその揺動手段50を昇降させるための昇降手段61が設けられている。すなわち外殻35の一側下方位置に支持具62を介して昇降用モータ63が取付けられ、このモータ63の軸上のプーリー64と前記外殻35の一側上方部に軸着されたプーリー65との間にタイミングベルト66が巻回され、このタイミングベルト66と前記支持部材40の固定用部材67とが固着されていて、該ベルト66の回動により支持部材40およびこれに付随する揺動用モータ52、カム部材53、昇降部材55等が共に昇降するように構成されている。

図2、図8においてS1 〜S4 はセンサを示し、センサS1 は前記作動レバー41の姿勢を検知して載置板38の下降限を知るためのもので、収納部16の底部上に繰出し口27側に向け下り傾斜状に集積される紙幣Pの反繰出し口側の高い側に当る載置板38がその紙幣Pに当接して上方に押上げられるように回動変位したときこの載置板38側の作動レバー41の検知部41a(図8示)を検知して載置板38の下降限を検出する。またセンサS2 ,S3 は、昇降部材55の上限、下限を検知するものであり、センサS4 はカム部材53の検知板53aにより作動カム53の定位置を検知するものである。

なお図示の実施形態においては、載置板37,38上に紙幣を受入れる際に紙幣が安定して載置されるようにするとともに側板16a,16aに形成されている載置板出入用のスリット45,46から紙幣が飛び出したり引掛かるようなことを回避するための載置板38,38の構造、および収納部16の上部開口部の長手方向両端位置での紙幣の落下を防ぐための構造、さらには紙幣の繰出し時に紙幣を繰出し手段31に押付け、収納部16内の紙幣の残量が少くても確実に繰出しが行われるようにするための構造を備えた場合を示している。

すなわち一側の載置板38,38は、隣り合う載置板とは反対側にこれと一体的に補助載置部68,68が張出して設けられ、この補助載置部68,68にゴム板、軟質合成樹脂板等からなる弾性板69,69の基部が固着され、この弾性板69,69は水平姿勢時に他側の載置板37の両端位置の載置面部37a,37aの先端を越えて延び、かつ先端に可及的近接した位置をとるように形成されている。

一方、側板16aに形成されるスリット46,46は、図6に示すように載置板38と補助載置部68とを合わせた幅L0 よりやや広い幅L1 とされ、弾性板69を加えた幅L2 よりは小とされている。また前記補助載置部68と対応する位置のスリット46の範囲内には、該部のスリットを閉鎖するように上下方向にベルト70が上下のローラ71,72間に回転自由に巻回して設けられ、載置板38の垂直姿勢への開放時に補助載置部68がベルト70に当り、図7(A)から(B),(C)のようにこれを押しのけるようになっている。

次に紙幣受入れ時に特に紙幣の先端が下向きにカールしているような紙幣が送入されたとき載置板37,38と収納部16の端部との間から収納部16に落下することを防ぐための紙幣落下防止手段80は、収納部16の端部と外殻35との間に位置して外殻35の側壁間に軸81,81が回転自在に支持され、この軸81,81に平面視略E字状の紙幣ガイド82,82の基部が固着されており、この軸81,81の一端に固着されたレバー83,83に前記揺動軸36の上昇時(紙幣受入れ時)に該揺動軸36に設けられた当接部84,84が当って水平姿勢に押し上げたとき紙幣ガイド82が図3に点線で示すように収納部16内に略45°の傾斜姿勢をもって位置し、揺動軸36の下降に伴い紙幣ガイド82,82は同図左側のものとして一点鎖線で示すように収納部16外に垂直姿勢となっておかれるようになっている。

次に繰出し時に紙幣を押圧する紙幣押圧手段85は、外殻35にそって立設されたガイド軸86に軸87の一端のブロック88が上下動自在に嵌挿されて片持ち支持され、この軸87の他端は外殻35に固定のガイド板89に上下方向に形成された長孔90に挿通されており、この軸87に札押え91,91,91の基部が固着され、軸87が回動したとき収納部16内に進入する押え部91aは図10に作動図として示しているように繰出し口27に近い位置で紙幣Pの上面に当るようになっている。

前記軸87の端部には捩りバネ92が嵌合されて軸87に対し札押え91の押え部91aが収納部16内に進入する方向に付勢している。また札押え91の最上昇位置(図10(A))にあるとき札押え91を収納部16から脱出させるための突部93が収納部16の外面に突設されている。さらに前記ブロック88は、外殻35の側部の前記支持具62に支持された札押え用モータ94のプーリー95と外殻35の上方側部に軸支されたプーリー96とに巻回されたタイミングベルト97に固定されている。

次に上記実施の形態の作用を説明する。
入金時の紙幣の流れは、図1において入金口2に入金すべき紙幣Pを立位姿勢にセットし、繰込み手段6の駆動により1枚ずつ繰込まれ、識別部8を通る際に金種、正損、表裏等が判別され、表裏の反転を要する紙幣は表裏反転部11を通って各金種別の一時保留部18,18…へ送り込まれ、損券は回収カセット17の上方の一時保留部19へ送り込まれる。またリジェクト紙幣はリジェクト口9へ戻される。

収納部16への収納時には、図8(A)のように載置板37,38を含む載置板揺動手段50は最上昇位置にあってそのカムフォロワ54はカム部材53の水平状態保持部53Aに位置しており、これにより昇降部材55は上昇位置におかれてその受部59,59が作動レバー41,41のローラ60,60を押し上げ、揺動軸36,36が捩りバネ42,42に抗して回動して各載置板37,38を水平状態に保持している。なお図8においては受入れた紙幣の図示は錯綜するため省略してあり、載置板揺動手段50の動作のみを示している。

この状態下において前記一時保留部18の底板23,23が開いて落下する紙幣は上記載置板37,38上に受入れられる。このとき載置板38,38は他側の載置板37の載置面部37a,37a…間に位置しかつ紙幣の長手方向に対しては補助載置部68,68および弾性板69,69が存在していることにより隙間から落下することがなく、また両端には紙幣ガイド82,82が傾斜しておかれているので、紙幣の長手方向端部が下向きにカールしていたとしてもこの紙幣ガイド82,82に当って収納部16内に落ち込むことがなく、整然と載置板37,38上に受止められる。

上記のようにして紙幣を受入れると、昇降手段61の昇降用モータ63が駆動してタイミングベルト66を回動させ、これに固着されている支持部材40をガイドロッド44にそって下降させる。

上記の下降により、一方の載置板38,38は収納部16内の既収納紙幣Pの傾斜状態の上端側の上面に当るので、図8(B)のように当該載置板38,38はやや上方に回動し、これにより揺動軸36が若干図において時計方向に回されるのでこれと一体の作動レバー41の検知部41aがセンサS1 の位置に移動して該センサS1 を作動させる。

上記センサS1 が作動レバー41の変位を検知すると、その信号が制御部100へ入力され、その制御部100により前記昇降用モータ63が所定量逆転駆動して前記載置板38,38が水平姿勢になる高さ位置まで上昇させる(図8(C)示の状態)。

上記の状態となったのち載置板揺動手段50の揺動用モータ52が回動してカム部材53が図において時計方向に回転し(図8(D)示)、これにより昇降部材55のカムフォロワ54はカム部材53の水平状態解除部53Bにより徐々に下降し、これに伴って昇降部材55の受部59,59の下降により作動レバー41,41が捩りバネ42,42の付勢により追従下降し、揺動軸36,36が回転する。

上記図8(D)の載置板37,38の下方への揺動開始から紙幣の収納完了時の図8(E)の状態に至る間の載置板37,38の動きは、図9(A)〜(C)に紙幣との関係についてのみ示しているように、揺動軸36,36の回転と上昇とに伴い載置板37,38の先端は既収納紙幣Pの上面に倣って移動しながら次第に載置板37,38上の紙幣Pの下から側方へ抜けて行き(図9(A)→(B))、載置板37の方が先に紙幣間から抜け出て収納部16外に退避し、垂直状態となる。それに若干遅れて他側の載置板38も紙幣間から斜め上方へ抜けて行く(図9(C))。この場合、各載置板37,38の基部が揺動軸36,36の下面側に固着されていることにより大きな弧を描いて抜けて行く。

なお上記載置板38,38が収納部16から抜ける際には、前述の図7(A)〜(C)のように載置板38の補助載置部68がベルト70に当ってこのベルト70に摩擦接触し、このベルト70を回動させながら上昇し、さらに弾性板69は自己が撓みながらスリット46から抜け出る。

こうして載置板37,38が収納部16から抜け出るときはカム部材53は180°回転した位置にあり(図8(E))、さらにカム部材53が180°回転することにより載置板37,38は水平位置に戻り、そのカム部材53の1回転をその検知板53aをセンサS4 が検知して揺動用モータ52が停止し(図8(F))、1回の収納を終る。上記昇降部材55の上昇限、下降限はセンサS2 ,S3 により検知される。

収納部16内の紙幣Pを繰出すときは、収納部16内の紙幣量を図示しないセンサSn が検知し、所定量以下であると検知されたときには押え用モータ94を駆動してブロック88を下降させると、これと一体の軸87が下降して札押え91が突部93から外れ、捩りバネ92の付勢を受けて札押え91の押え部91aが収納部16内に進入し(図10(B))、収納部16内の紙幣Pの繰出し口27に近い位置の上面を押え、繰出し手段31に所定の押付力により押しつけ、確実な繰出しをなさしめる。
