上記の課題を達成するために本発明の柱と梁のコーナー連結具は、一枚板を折り曲げて柱連結部とコーナー部と梁連結部を一体に形成した背板と、一枚板を折り曲げて柱連結部とコーナー部と梁連結部を一体に形成した腹板と、柱側右側面板とコーナー部右側面板と梁側右側面板を溶接連結して形成した右側面板と、柱側左側面板とコーナー部左側面板と梁側左側面板を溶接連結して形成した左側面板と、補強部材とを備え、背板と腹板と右側面板と左側面板は夫々の端部を溶接連結することにより中空部を形成しており、コーナー部右側面板は柱側右側面板と梁側右側面板よりも厚肉であり、コーナー部左側面板は柱側左側面板と梁側左側面板よりも厚肉であり、補強部材は背板側端部を背板コーナー部に、腹板側端部を腹板コーナー部に各々溶接連結して中空部内に設けてあることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図4はカーポートの正面図を示し、図5は屋根の一部を切除して示すカーポートの側面図である。このカーポートは、基礎コンクリート12に根元を埋め込んで立たせた2本の柱13,13の上端に梁14,14が片持ちの状態で連結され、アルミ形材による骨組15と樹脂パネル16によって構成したアーチ形の屋根17が、梁14,14上に載置固定されている。柱13と梁14には角パイプ状のアルミの押出し形材を使用しており、柱と梁の連結は図1乃至図3に示すようなコーナー連結具18によってなされている。
