【0220】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a communication apparatus having personal information storage means for storing information for a specific individual that can be input via a communication line.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, some facsimile apparatuses include a plurality of memory areas called message boxes and the like for storing information for specific individuals. These memory areas are assigned to different specific individuals, and in the absence mode, by specifying the number of the message box and performing facsimile transmission or voice transmission through a telephone line from another facsimile machine or the like, The facsimile data or voice data is stored in the corresponding memory area. And, a specific individual who wants to know the contents of the message addressed to him / her can not only retrieve the contents of his / her message box by directly operating the facsimile apparatus by a predetermined operation including input of a so-called personal identification number, but also other facsimile apparatuses, etc. It can also be taken out via a telephone line. That is, if the data stored in the memory area corresponding to the message box is facsimile data, the data is printed on recording paper, and the data stored in the memory area corresponding to the message box is voice data. It can be reproduced as sound from the speaker.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in a conventional facsimile machine, unless a specific operation mode such as absence mode is set, a message cannot be input to the message box via the telephone line, and the contents of the message box can be transmitted via the telephone line. There was a problem that it was not easy to use because it could not be taken out. For example, when you call a facsimile machine to enter a message in the message box, if someone answers the phone, you have to ask the person to set the answering mode, and then hang up and try again . This problem occurs in exactly the same way when the message box owner wants to retrieve the contents of his message box via the telephone line.
[0004]
The present invention has been proposed in view of the above points, and even when a user answers a call in response to a call from the calling side, the message box is not opened without temporarily releasing the line. An object of the present invention is to provide a communication device that can be accessed.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a communication apparatus according to a first aspect of the present invention is a communication apparatus having personal information storage means for storing information for a specific individual that can be input via a communication line. Personal information input control means for storing in the personal information storage means the information for a specific individual input via the telephone, and the call signal input via the communication lineThroughWhen the communication line is closed, the operation of the personal information input control means is permitted based on a predetermined operation by the user or predetermined information input through the communication line. Personal information input permission means toWhen the personal information input permission means permits the operation of the personal information input control means, it is prohibited to output specific personal information input via the communication line by the output means of the own device. Output prohibition control means to stopIt has.
[0006]
According to this communication apparatus, the personal information input permission means is based on the call signal input via the communication line.ThroughWhen the communication line is closed, the operation of the personal information input control means is permitted based on a predetermined operation by the user or predetermined information input through the communication line. Therefore, even when the user answers the call from the calling side, input to the message box can be performed without opening the line once, which is very convenient.
[0007]
For example, when Mr. A tries to enter a message in Mr. B's message box and calls Mr. B's facsimile machine, that facsimile machine is not in absence mode and Mr. C answers the call. Also, ask Mr. C to input to the message box and perform a predetermined operation, or Mr. A operates a facsimile machine on Mr. A's side and sends a predetermined DTMF (Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) signal. Thus, a desired message can be input into the message box of Mr. B without having to hang up the phone. Of course, the message may be a voice or an image such as text.
[0008]
Therefore, the trouble of requesting Mr. C who has answered the call to change the setting of the operation mode, hang up the phone and then make a new call is eliminated.Further, when permitting the operation of the personal information input control means, the output of specific personal information input via the communication line is prohibited, so that it is possible to ensure confidentiality of the specific personal information.
[0009]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a communication apparatus having a personal information storage means for storing information for a specific individual that can be input / output via a communication line, which is inputted via the communication line. Personal information input control means for storing specific personal information in the personal information storage means, and personal information output control means for reading out the specific personal information stored in the personal information storage means and outputting it via a communication line And based on the paging signal input via the communication lineThroughWhen the communication line is closed, the personal information input control means or the personal information output based on the predetermined operation by the user or the predetermined information input through the communication line Personal information input / output permission means for permitting operation of the control means; When the personal information input / output permission means permits the operation of the personal information input control means or the personal information output control means, the personal information input via the communication line is output by the output means of the own device. Output prohibition control means for prohibitingIt has.
[0010]
According to this communication apparatus, the personal information input / output permission means is based on the call signal input via the communication line.ThroughWhen the communication line is closed, the personal information input control means or the personal information output based on the predetermined operation by the user or the predetermined information input through the communication line Since the operation of the control means is permitted, both the input and output to the message box can be performed without releasing the line once even when the user answers the call from the calling side. Therefore, it is very convenient to use.
[0011]
For example, when Mr. A tries to enter a message message in Mr. B's message box and calls Mr. B's facsimile device, the facsimile device is not in absence mode and Mr. C answers the phone. However, Mr. C asks for input to the message box and performs a predetermined operation, or Mr. A operates the A-side facsimile machine and transmits a predetermined DTMF signal, so that the telephone is called. A desired message can be entered in the message box of Mr. B without turning it off. Of course, the message may be a voice or an image such as text.
[0012]
Also, even if Mr. D calls out the facsimile machine to take out the contents of his message box from outside the office, even if E. Ask Mr. E to output the message from D's message box and perform a predetermined operation, or Mr. D operates a facsimile machine on the go and sends a predetermined DTMF signal to hang up the phone. D can take out the contents of his message box. Of course, a voice message can be heard from a speaker such as a handset of a remote facsimile machine, and an image message can be printed on a recording sheet or displayed on a display screen by a remote facsimile machine. .
[0013]
Therefore, the trouble of requesting C or E who answered the call to change the setting of the operation mode, hang up the phone and then make a new call is eliminated. Also, when permitting the operation of the personal information input control means or personal information output control means, the output of specific personal information input via the communication line is prohibited, so that the confidential information of specific personal information is kept confidential. Can be secured.
[0014]
Of course, the personal information input / output permission unit may permit the operation of the personal information input control unit or the personal information output control unit only when a predetermined operation predetermined by the user is performed. Alternatively, it may be only when predetermined information is input via a communication line. Furthermore, when a predetermined operation predetermined by the user is performed or when predetermined information is input via a communication line, the personal information input control means or the personal information You may comprise so that operation | movement of an output control means may be permitted.
[0015]
The communication line may be a public line or a dedicated line, and may be wired or wireless.
[0016]
As the personal information storage means, a volatile memory such as a RAM or a rewritable nonvolatile memory such as an EEPROM can be used. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and for example, a hard disk device may be used. When a volatile memory is used, it is preferable to perform power backup with a battery or the like.
[0017]
The number of personal information storage means installed is arbitrary, but in the case of a plurality of personal information storage means, it is necessary to input designation information for designating which personal information storage means is used for input / output.
[0018]
As the communication device, a facsimile device, a telephone device, and the like are conceivable. However, the communication device includes, for example, a personal computer, a word processor, an electronic copying apparatus, or the like added with a telephone call function, a facsimile transmission / reception function, or the like.
[0019]
The personal information input control means, the personal information output control means, and the personal information input / output permission means are realized by operating a CPU or a microprocessor based on a predetermined program.
[0020]
From the standpoint of maintaining the confidentiality of the contents stored in the personal information storage means, the personal information is registered in advance for each personal information storage means, and the personal information is correctly input as the operating condition of each personal information output control means. It is desirable to additionally request.
[0021]
When the operation mode of the communication device is set to a predetermined mode such as absence mode, the personal information input control means and the personal information output control means can perform predetermined operations or operations without permission by the personal information input / output permission means. It is preferable that each can be operated by predetermined input information.
[0022]
As a certain operation by the user, for example, it is conceivable to off-hook the handset. However, the operation is not limited to this, and a key operation for turning on a speaker and a microphone instead of the handset may be used.
[0023]
As the predetermined operation by the user, for example, it is conceivable to press a plurality of operation keys in a predetermined order. However, the operation is not limited to this and may be an operation using a mouse or the like.
[0024]
As the predetermined information, for example, information including a DTMF signal input via a communication line based on a predetermined dial key operation by a user on the calling side can be considered.
[0025]
Further, the communication device of the invention described in
[0026]
According to this communication apparatus, in addition to the effect of the communication apparatus according to
[0027]
As the designation operation, for example, it is conceivable to press a key with English letters or numbers, but the operation is not limited to this and may be an operation using a mouse or the like.
[0028]
As the designation information, for example, a DTMF signal input via a communication line based on a dial key pressing operation by a user on the calling side can be considered.
[0029]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a communication apparatus according to the third aspect of the present invention, wherein each of the terminals stores an arbitrary number of terminal identification information set corresponding to each of a plurality of personal information storage means. When personal information is stored in the personal information storage means by the identification information storage means and the personal information input control means, the terminal identification information corresponding to the personal information storage means is read from the terminal identification information storage means, and the terminal Personal information input notifying means for notifying that the personal information is stored in the personal information storage means via the communication line to the communication terminal specified by the identification information.
[0030]
According to this communication apparatus, in addition to the effect of the communication apparatus according to
[0031]
That is, even when a specific individual who is a recipient of personal information is out, he or she has a communication terminal corresponding to preset terminal identification information or exists near the installation position of the communication terminal In this case, it is possible to immediately know that personal information addressed to the user has been input to the communication device. Since such a function does not necessarily have to be exhibited at all times, it is preferable that the function can be turned on / off, for example. Further, this function may be exhibited only in the absence mode.
[0032]
As the communication terminal, a wired or wireless telephone device, a facsimile device, a pager device, and the like can be considered, but the communication terminal is not limited thereto.
[0033]
Furthermore, the communication device of the invention described in

Next, the main points of the operation of the facsimile apparatus configured as described above will be described. This facsimile machine can access each message box in the absence mode, for example, in the manual reception mode, for example, when the user off-hooks the handset according to the ringing tone or presses the
[0057]
For example, when Mr. A tries to enter a message in Mr. B's message box and makes a call to Mr. B's facsimile apparatus, the facsimile apparatus is not in absence mode and Mr. C answers the call. However, Mr. C asks for input to the message box and performs a predetermined operation, or Mr. A operates the A-side facsimile machine and transmits a predetermined DTMF signal, so that the telephone is called. A desired message can be stored in Mr. B's message box without being cut once. Of course, the message may be a voice or an image such as text.
[0058]
Here, the predetermined operation of the operation unit 13 by Mr. C first presses the private key 29, and then presses the "B" key corresponding to Mr. B's message box among the
[0059]
Instead of a predetermined operation by Mr. C, Mr. A may operate the facsimile machine on the calling side. That is, when Mr. A presses the dial keys in the order of “0”, “2”, “*”, the corresponding DTMF signal is input to the facsimile apparatus via the telephone line 21, and the predetermined operation is performed by Mr. C. It becomes the same state as when. Of the dial keys “0”, “2” and “*”, “2” corresponds to the message box of Mr. B. In this way, even if Mr. C does not know the predetermined operation, Mr. A himself can store the message in the message box of Mr. B.
[0060]
Also, when Mr. D makes a phone call to the above facsimile machine in order to take out the contents of his message box from outside, the facsimile machine is not in the absence mode and Mr. E answers the phone. , Ask Mr. E to output from the message box of D and perform a predetermined operation, or Mr. D operates a facsimile machine on the go and sends a predetermined DTMF signal to temporarily call the telephone. D can take out the contents of his message box without cutting it. Of course, a voice message message can be heard from the speaker of a handset of a remote facsimile machine, and an image message can be printed on a recording sheet or displayed on a display screen by a facsimile machine outside the office. You can.
[0061]
Here, the predetermined operation on the operation unit 13 by Mr. E first presses the private key 29, and then presses the "D" key corresponding to Mr. D's message box in the

It becomes the same state as when.
[0070]
As described above, the general mailbox can be accessed by the same operation as the access to the message box except that the operation for designating the message box number is not performed.
[0071]
Next, the procedure of incoming call processing in each operation mode by the facsimile apparatus will be described with reference to the flowcharts shown in FIGS.
